Trinity twitched her tail to rid it of the snow it had caught. It was already cold, she didn't fancy being wet as well. She shivered lightly, her pink mane trembling and tickling her neck. Sighing out a large huff of fogged air she stood for a moment in the shadows of the dense forest while the sun shown past few bare branches, lighting patches of snow to a blinding brightness.
"The cold is good for cuddles." Trinity mumbled before continuing on her way. Too bad there was no one to cuddle up with right now. She narrowed her pink eyes agains the glittering snow and pressed on. Unsure exactly of why she was wondering about off on her own, but not completely resenting it either...subconsciously she hoped she would find someone to press her presence upon. She did love being pushy. Her ears perked up as she trudge through the fluffy, freezing snow. Had she heard a voice? Mei Xiu glanced around as she tried to find the source of that sound she'd heard. Shrugging when she didn't see anything (at first), she continued her trek across the frozen tundra, and would have missed the mare if she hadn't been paying attention to her surroundings. The mare looked put out and somewhat sad, so, thinking she could make a new friend (and possibly have someone to talk to in this bore of beautiful soft ice) she made her way over. "Hello?" she called, wondering if she was making the right decision. A random thought about another friend of hers made her nearly falter in her steps as she traveled towards the other mare. Mei Xiu already missed Paradox, but she shoveled the thought to the far reaches of her mind as she waited to see if the mare had seen her.

Trinity smiled upon seeing the approaching mare. How lovely. Speak of the devil and he shall appear...or so they say. She noted the mares fiery wings. Her sister had wings, but they were smaller and less stand outish against her coat. Purple eyes flickered to the horn protruding from her forehead to the red on her hooves. She then met the mares eyes and smiled a sweet, lightly devilish smile. "Hello there! Its a bit cold out to be traveling alone, don't you think?" She approached the mare and spoke in bright tones. "Might I join you to your destination this evening Miss....?" She inquired innocently, wrinkling her nose a bit as she asked. She flicked her tail happily this time as she hoped the mare wouldn't turn her away.
She blinked as the mare spoke to her. She smiled in return as she answered, "Mei Xiu. You can call me Mei, though. What's your name?" Great! The mare was friendly, and she could only giggle as she looked at the mare with bright eyes. "Oh, I'm not really going anywhere, but if you want to come with me, sure. I'm looking for somewhere warm since it's really cold out here." That was pure truth. Mei Xiu didn't really have any particular destination in mind, but she could see that this mare might want a warm place. She was lucky her wings kept her at least semi-warm and she didn't feel the extra bite of the freezing weather. "Why are you out here? Are you waiting for someone?" She wondered. It was rare to see regular Soquili out and about in this kind of weather, after all. Still, she didn't mind; it meant she might make a new friend! The mare seemed rather friendly and Mei Xiu wasn't one to turn down an invitation for female companionship.
