For Certing
Username: --CosmicNeo-QueenBunni--
Nickname: Net
Gender: Female
DEX Number: 151
Species: Mew
Type: Psychic
Ability: Synchronize ? (I believe that was the sort of ability you were looking for?)
Job: Nurse in the Children's Wing of the hospital

For the Artist
Height: 4'11"
Weight: 95lbs.
Hair Color: Cherry blossom pink. Cut short and a bit on the uneven side, longer in the front then it is in the back. (Think Major Matoko Kusanagi from GiTS)
Eye Color: A bright blue, almost sky blue. (Hex color wise, diamond blue. #0EBFE9)
Glasses/Contact Lenses: No
Skin Color: A creamy pale peach color. Not albino but perhaps close.
Face Shape: Heart shaped, with pudgey-ish cheeks.
Other Features: Mew ears and tail.

Clothing Style: Net loves to wear cute things, but her definition of cute is really just anything that catches her attention. Jeans, capris, skirts... Dresses are a definite must have, mostly in the form of cute little summer dresses that aren't restricting. But getting to wear her favourite outfits is a rare occasion, as she spends a lot of time working at the hospital.
But that's okay, because all of her medical scrubs are totally cute and pink! Some have designs, others have cartoon characters, and some are even plain. But they are always, always pink.

About the Character
Personality:
+ Social: Net is a social creature. If she's around people she's happy, out-going, full of smiles and laughs even if she's not quite as productive because she's off being social. Over all she functions better around others then when left to herself.
+ Trusting: Net has complete and utter faith in the people around her, even strangers. If some one says they'll do something or they'll meet at a specific time she trusts that they will keep to their word. Of course this also leads her to be rather gullible and she's often very upset when some one breaks her trust in them.
+ Forgiving: Perhaps because she puts everyone before herself, Net has become a very forgiving person. She can't stand to stay upset at any one, even if they've broken her trust. The only time forgiveness is unacceptable is if harm has come to children, any other limit has yet to be found.
+ Patient: Net is incredibly patient and never one to rush things. That's how mistakes are often made. From dealing with parents, patients and everything in between, Net takes them as they are and with the slow and steady approach needed to make everything okay in the end.
+ Enthusiastic: Everything Net does she does it with excitement and her whole self. With a bright smile on her face, she takes the day head on and does her best to make it the absolutely best one it can be. This enthusiasm can be seen in her daily work or even when she's swimming. Anything can be fun with the right attitude behind it!
- Others First: Net puts all others before herself, their happiness is hers. If some one is not happy in any way, she does her best to fix that even if it means focusing less on her own problems. This even extends to her kids at the hospital, Net constantly throwing herself into her work to make sure they're happy and healthy. She often runs herself ragged, emotionally and physically.
- Mother Hen: Net is very much a mother hen, constantly babying and hovering over her charges or her friends. Children who shouldn't be moving around too much are often scolded and left to the mercy of Net doing just about everything for them and friends are usually reminded to be safe and careful no matter where they're going or what they're doing. And as a word of caution, don't ever let her find out some one is sick. If possible she will stop what she's doing to come over and take care of them with the argument that some one needs to take care of them.
Perhaps she takes the title "mother of all pokemon" a bit more seriously then she should.
- Happy Mask: Not one to worry others, Net keeps quite a bit hidden behind a mask of smiles. With so many doubts and fears, and really just putting every one before herself, she doesn't feel comfortable letting others know she is anything but happy. How can she make others happy if she isn't is her reasoning.
Every now and again a crack will form in her mask, and she's long since lost the ability to hide her emotions from her eyes. So if some one knows her well enough they could probably read her moods from her eyes alone. If called on it, however, she will deny it and smile twice as big.
- Gullible: Despite having been around for some time, Net is very gullible. She often believes what anyone tells her as the honest truth and this has blown up in her face before. Over the years she's gotten a bit better, but when it comes to sob stories about people needing help in any form (from money troubles to needing some one to cover a shift because of some sort of emergency and anything in between) she's a sucker through and through.
- Soft-Hearted: As mentioned in gullible, Net is very much a soft heart. She'll go above and beyond to help some one in need of help. This doesn't end at just people she knows either. Be it a lost child or even a homeless person, Net will do all she can to help some one and damn the consequences.
Mannerisms: When confused Net will tilt her head to the side and utter out a "mew?", while her ears flicker as if listening for something. This also tends to happen when she thinks she hears something. She also has a habit of talking to adults like she does children. Not that she talks down to them, but everything is very simple and clear, since children don't always understand adult ways of speaking.
Habits: Net follows people around for the sheer fun of it. Quite often she can be seen following some random person until she gets bored following behind them and moves on to some one else. She considers it a game and will some times do it at the hospital to get a laugh out of children and staff.
Quirks: Wearing pink. Net is hardly ever seen in clothing that isn't pink. She also hovers everywhere despite being fully capable of walking. It's just something she has never been able to break herself of.
Hobbies: Swimming, reading, visiting "her kids" even on her days off.

Dislikes: (at least three, with breif descriptions)
Closed-in Spaces: Net is claustrophobic, horridly so. As in she takes anxiety meds to keep her from panicking. Even small rooms or too many people in a room (worse yet if she doesn't know them), without her meds, send her into panic attacks.
Being Alone: Net hates to be alone, left with only silence and her own troubles. These things often leave her feeling sad and with no real way to cope aside for self pity and a large tub of ice cream, she'd rather not ever be left alone if she can help it.
Icky foods: While this could perhaps be a very broad thing, Net dislikes what she dislikes and if she doesn't like it she doesn't eat it. She's perhaps pickier then most, with a horrid sweet tooth at that, and will down right refuse to eat anything that has ingredients she doesn't like inside.

Likes: (at least three, with breif descriptions)
Swimming: A favourite hobby of hers, it's something she almost can't live with out it. Swimming helps to ease the stresses of the day and helps her think, while managing to make her feel like she's caged in. It always seems to give her a sense of peace at the end of the day. While she prefers swimming pools to the beach, she won't pass up a chance to swim.
People: Net is a people person who would rather be trapped in a room with a couple people then being by herself. Though she loves to stay and chat, people around others keeps her grounded and focused.
Music: Music is something that has always appealed to Net and has some one helped to ease the loneliness in her life. Her radio is always going when she's at home, to help drown the silence and she often carries around a music player just to have something to listen to.

Optional Just-for-Fun Stuff
Filling this out with as much detail one can muster is a plus!
Educational Background: Aside from her schooling to be a nurse, and earning her MSN (accelerated master's degree in nursing), unknown.
Intelligence Level: Very intelligent, though the extent to this intelligence is unknown. She doesn't really care to take an IQ test to find out.
Physical/Mental Condition: Overall Net is physically and mentally healthy, though she does (in a way) have a mental illness. Net is claustrophobic, she can not stand to be be or feel trapped in anyway. Being a studio apartment, the only walls are in the bathroom so it is open enough to never feel as if the walls are closing in. Large groups of people crowded around each other tend to set this off and is part of the reason why she works in the Children's wing of the hospital.
She is on medication for if she should ever need it, but for the most part that is a very rare need.
Learning Experiences:
Character's short-term goals in life: To keep doing what she's doing. Happy where she is, Net doesn't really see any need to make short term goals.
Character's long-term goals in life: She would, however, love to settle down and have her own family.
How does Character see himself/herself? She sees herself as some one who would do anything for any one and some one who can change the world with just one smile.
But she also sees herself as some one not quite good enough. She has her own emotional conflictions, her own inner troubles and she's not sure she'll ever find the one person who can understand those troubles and conflicts and still love her for them
How does Character believe he/she is perceived by others? Honestly she isn't sure. Every one has their own opinions and those opinions are not always the ones they tell the world. She's never asked and isn't sure she wants to.
Does the character seem ruled by emotion or logic or some combination thereof? Net runs on emotion nine times out of ten. Logic, while something she is aware of and can bring into a situation, is not something that always rules her life. Her heart is on her sleeve and, even though she's gotten hurt in the past, she'd have it no other way.
What would most embarass this character? Intimate conversations about bedtime habits and dating. While she does want to settle down one day, Net's never been on a date and doesn't know the first thing about dating. Or bedtime habits.
Introvert or Extrovert? A healthy mix of both? While at work and working with the children she's very outgoing and talkative, doing her best to make things easier for the kids. Out side of work she's a very quiet and personal person with very few friends. But with these friend's she the same as if she were at work, trusting herself with them immensely.
How will the character deal with anger? Anger is not something that Net tends to show, but it is something she feels. Being a creature of emotion it's hard not to. However she does her best to bottle in any anger she may feel. She also becomes very introverted and keeps to herself.
--------------------------------------With sadness? She cries. A lot. Well, only when she's alone. If there are people around Net has the tendency to bottle it up and keep it to herself so she doesn't bother others with her feelings. She's not very good at it, however, and her eyes will constantly water up despite not allowing herself to cry.
--------------------------------------With conflict? Net hates conflict and will, more often then not, try to bend over backwards to try and compromise. Well, if she can't fix the conflict any other way. Sadly she can't bring herself to simply walk away, as she's very much a people please-r .
--------------------------------------With change? Change is something Net can get behind and doesn't seem to mind. Everything changes, Pokemon used to after all! (or still do?), and though it may not always be for the better she'll give it her best to get used to it.
--------------------------------------With loss? There is always a sorrow inside when loss is concerned, like a very small hole has been created in her heart. Life is precious and should be lived and when she thinks about those who can no longer continue to live she cries. Each and every spirit in the world, even if she doesn't realize it, feels like a part of her and to lose even one part is to feel as if she has lost some one dear to her.
At work she manages to keep in this sorrow, because not every child at the hospital can be saved. But at home is another story.
What does the character want out of life? To not be alone any more.
What would the character like to change in his/her life? The only thing she wants to change is the utter loneliness she feels in not having some one of her own. While some people do not understand (she's young, she'll find hers in time!) the sheer amount of time she has spent alone and as the only keeper of her heart is slowly starting to dampen her spirits
What motivates this character? The belief that she can, in some way - any way - make the world happy. If there is any other reason, she doesn't know it.
What frightens this character? Ultimately to be alone and never know the bond of being with another person. As well as her claustrophobia.

I have in mind that Net was the original mew from the Tree of Beginnings. Haven't quite figured out how she managed to get away, probably by there having been a replacement mew at some point and she left in search of some one to love.

Net, tired of the loneliness and lack of companionship, left the Tree of Beginnings a long time ago. Her replacement was Aurora's mother, who would later give birth to Aurora. With this freedom she spent her time roaming and searching for adventure, romance and companionship.

After awhile, however, she grew tired of such a life and seemed to drop off the face of the world. While no one really went looking for her, no one who tried could find her until one day she found herself not like she used to be. Unsure of the cause, she decided to make the most of it and learned about the world around her and how humans lived and worked. It was, after all, a new adventure. And one that would, hopefully, reward her well.

Taking what she knew of herself and her willingness to take care of others, Net decided to try a career in medicine as a nurse. Intelligent as she was, it wasn't as hard as she would have thought to get her MSN and become a nurse. Fresh out of school and ready to start working, she found herself in Hiun where they were in need of nurses. Since then she's been working in the Children's Wing, taking care of and making them happy.

Despite her appearance and innocence, Net is actually very much older then she seems. There's a hint in her eyes sometimes, having a very old soul look to them, but other then that no one would really ever guess. Maybe.

Opening this up now, I suppose.

A lot of the Legend PokeHuman don't show their age. With how long Legends can live. Doesn't seem to be any different with a more human body. Not a crit, just commenting. Nice to see one who wants a family. Most don't seem to care, except the Mewtwo. But just being a clone must make you feel pretty damn lonely. =x

She certainly sounds like a Mew. Following people was a nice touch. Reminds me of Mew in the first movie, following Team Rocket and giggling.

She's balanced fine. Trusting sounds neutral, with the addition of the last sentence.
Any really small amount of what she doesn't like, she won't eat it? Like not liking a small ingredient in chili, when everything is masked by the taste of th chili?

She's been around a lot longer then she'd like to admit, or so she's told me. X3;; She's tired of being alone and figures it's about time to finally settle down. Provided she can find some one.

That part was kind of intentional, just because I do so love watching Mew follow Team Rocket around. But it's also just something she's done and it makes kids laugh.

Ah, should I remove that last sentence then? Or is it fine as it is?

On the subject of food, Net doesn't like spicy things at all. There's always too much spice that covers flavors, and the heat of the spices tend to burn and mess with her nose.
