Setting: opera housebut with more cobwebs and what not to make it scary and abandoned.  Higure was wondering again in search of his mate. He hadn't seen her for ages which he wasn't to worried about it at first since she was in a different tribe. But to much time had passed and he knew something couldn't be right. So here he was in the middle of no where looking for his love in abandoned human dens.

 Ever the ADD fox that she was, Nami had wandered off from her islands (yet again) and had gone on another journey of exploration. In her destination-less search, she had come closer to what used to be the habitations of two-leggers. Naturally curiosity had gotten the better of her, and she entered into a rather large and complex looking building. It was clearly old and long since abandoned as was evidenced by the layers of dust and the spider inhabitants that had taken over. Still, it was unlike anything she had ever seen before, and, awed by the complexity and oddities of the structure and layout, the water-patterned fox decided to stick around a bit for further investigation.
Today, however, she was greeted by a rather pleasant treat when she saw another modifox enter the opera house via her Byakugan. A very familiar one at that. "Higure!" She greeted happily, darting out of the room that she had been in and running to meet him. The vixen immediately snuggled up next to the male, likely covering him in a fair bit of dust in the process. "How have you been?" One wouldn't have guessed that it had been as long as it had been from the casual and familiar way with which she greeted him. The close snuggling was a good indication though.

Higure had been looking around and didn't see the vixen charge at him and practically slam into his side in chest. It was unexpected and slightly startled him. He made a move to move back but looked down and found a beautiful little vixen there. It was his water girl, his mate. He smiled and let out a sigh pulling her as close as possible to him. He had her against every line of his body,while rubbing his cheek against her. "God,"was all he said at first. He thought he was going to end up like his father and mother when she had left. He nipped and pulled her scruff in slight punshiment. Not enough to hurt but enough to let her know he was not happy with her. "I have been worried sick."

Nami let out a small 'eep' when he tugged at her scruff, and turned to look up at her mate after. "Worried? Why have you been worried?" she asked in concern, rubbing her own cheek back against him comfortingly. "Is something wrong?" She was rather ignorant of poor Higure's plight, for in her mind she was well and knew she was well just as he was clearly well. Everything was good then, right? No need for worries.

Higure kept his head on her not meeting her eyes. He rubbed his cheek in the deep of her back. "Yes Nami I was worried. You were gone for so long and not a message to me. How was I to know you where ok or even alive or moved on? My mother just returned home and my father is a mess. She disappear for what seems like months and well dad's not in a good condition. I was worried that you had left like her or maybe you had found someone else" He spoke the last bit a lot softer than he had started his eyes were down cast.

"No news is good news?" she offered up meekly, beginning to understand his concern a bit. "I'm sorry about what happened with your parents. No one could ever replace you for me." She wrapped her tail about his to emphasize the point. "I'm sorry for worrying you so much. I'll try not to get as distracted in the future." Though that would be rather tough for the vixen, as she had been this way as long as she could remember.

"I'm sorry to."Higure stated simply. What else could he say? He had been worried and with the turn of events in his family it just got worse. But he was glad she was ok. If she wasn't he wouldn't survive it mentally. He kissed her lovingly.

Nami felt rather warm and fuzzy at his gesture of affection, and licked him back lovingly before nuzzling in closer. By this point they might appear to have both been roaming around in the dust-filled rooms with how much she was unintentionally rubbing off in him. "Higure, this place is amazing. You must come look around with me," she said with a bright smile, moving away from him save for her tail which she kept still wrapped about his. "There's just so much to see here! I haven't even gotten to all of the different areas yet."

Higure was sadden as she began to pull away. He didn't want her to go for any reason. He wanted her pressed tight against him with no space in between him. But he let her pull away since that is what she wanted and he let out a heavy sigh. "You really want to explore this place?" He asked glad that she at least kept her tail on his. He didn't want to be here honestly he just wanted to take her home and lock her up in a den with him and never let go.

Nami had to chuckle at his question. "I'm a scout, silly. It's what I do." Whoops, that reminded her, she'd sorta also left her tribe behind in this little venture... Again. They wouldn't be too happy with her. Well, she could worry about that later. For now her mate was here and they had a fascinating place about them that was in dire need of exploring.

Higure shook his head and sighed. "I know you are my love some times I absolutely love it cause its what brought you to me and other times i just want to drag you into a cave and keep you there with me." He said than realized he said the last part out aloud instead of in his head. He blushed and grumbled "Yeah...uh... lets go explore," and took a few steps forward hoping it would distract her from what he said.

Nami blinked and tilted her head at the last part. "A cave? That doesn't sound nearly as nice as a beach or a river." There was also a reason she was part of a water-based tribe. 'Though if it was a big maze-like cave with an underground waterfall, that could be fun to explore. Maybe even find some pretty rocks along the way." She tended to forget that most other foxes couldn't quite see such things in the dark though. "But another time. For now, let's see more of where we're at."

Higure let out a sigh of reliefe that she hadn't quite caught the meaning of what he was saying. He didn't even know why he brought it up except he wanted kits with her plain and simple but she just wanted to explore and have an adventure he should have known better and not have said anything at all. "As you wish my dear," was all he said and nudged her forward so she could take lead and go where she wanted.

He should have known better, as Nami was not normally one to catch on to such subtleties. With her the best approach was usually to be open and honest on things.
She led him forward, pushing past a door that led into a very very large and open room. At the end of the room there was an empty raised level and a lower pit directly in front of it, while the rest of the room was filled with cushy things for sitting on. "Two leggers build the oddest things, don't they?" she remarked, hopping up onto the nearest seat. "Pretty comfy though, whatever this is."

Higure followed close behind her that way if anything should potentiality pop up that could hurt them he would be able to pull her back and protect her. He looked around as they entered the next room. It was spacious and had things in it that where as tall as trees. "Yes they do and how they get these huge things into a place like this is beyond me," He said placing a paw on the red thing Nami was sitting on. Than an idea popped into his head. "Nami love close your eyes and try not to listen for me will you?" he asked her kindly.
