Today we decorated our holiday crate. I hung strings of bubbly thumb tacks all over it, and topped it with a stuffies. It's tight! Plus it smells like a limburger cheese, wafting holiday cheer throughout the house. Pretty soon I'm going to poke some cookies to give to Haly. I've got a few special ingredients I want to include: some shoes, carrots and dirty berries. Doesn't that sound delicious?

One of my favorite parts of the holiday season is getting warm and cozy when it's cold outside. Right now we are all huddled around a piano for warmth drinking juice. I'm reading a book on the history of dishes-- really dark stuff. What''s the weather like where you are? I heard it might get pretty blue before the week's over.
