Situated next to his Captain's office, Zebediah's office is a simple affair; there is a plain desk, a chair behind it, and a couch. The only thing that sets his room apart from his Captain's is a series of weapons that he has all over the walls of his room. He also has a suit of medieval armor in the the far north-east corner and a small forge and workstation in the opposite corner. On the opposite side of the room, facing the desk is a tall bookcase filled with books on war strategy, mechanics of the machines of war, and the history of weapons. It is a archive of all forms of war, and it's mechanics.

All important paperwork is kept in neat orderly piles on his desk, while the rest is used as fuel for his furnace.

Zeb walked slowly into his new office, and was astounded; they had found all of the weaponry that he had requested in the decoration, as well as the small furnace and work bench that he needed for his little projects of weapon and device design. Scratching at the badge which was now on his belt, he smiled to himself softly as he padded to the couch and sat down to stare idly at the wall of weapons, and to feel the heat from his furnace. "I wish Master were here to see how far I've come in such a short amount of time..." He exhaled as the temperature rose another few degrees from the furnace.

"I think that I shall fit in here well... It seems to be a different atmosphere then 7th." Zeb smiled to himself as he continued to stare at the weapons, and think about how he might be able to categorize them.

The woman heaved a heavy sigh, finding herself standing outside another Vice-Captain's office once again. In the past, she didn't have many ties to the 12th division since she preferred not to lurk around the squad. There was something about those scientists back in those times that she didn't like and now, that feeling still lingered in her gut. Yomiko always thought that they'd tie her up and use her for some type of experimentation if they caught her lurking around doing nothing. She stuffed her hands back in her jacket pockets, staring at the door lazily before entering.

A stupid decision, she knew, considering what she almost got herself into while she was at the 9th. Allowing a small smile to grace her features, she shook her head. It wasn't until moments later, when she finally noticed the other person in the room, that the smile was wiped of completely off her face. An apathetic look was on her face as she identified the man she bumped into shortly after her arrival at Fefnir's office. The weirdo, is what she called him, stared at the weapons in the office. "Stalker...?" She said aloud, not knowing how to address him. "Y-You're that stalker, right?"

"If you're referring to me..." He laughed slightly "I'm not a stalker in any sense of the word." Zeb stood up as he bowed "I'm Master Ezru Kimishima's first and only disciple. My name is Zebediah Flamstel, and I just became 12th Squad's Vice Captain. You're Yomiko Shihouin, Kazi Kimishima's wife... and current free-loader of the Seireitei." A slight twinkle was all that show in Zeb's eyes telling her that he knew more about her then he would let on.

"Master told me to find you for my Bankai training, although... I'm not sure how compatible you are to teach a fire-type, but it should be interesting to say the least..." Zeb smiled, his teeth perfect and shining in the faint glow of the forge. "But enough of that Miss Freeloader... What can I help you with this fine day?"

"So this is where she ran off to, and she's the legendary Yomiko Shihouin eh?" Zaine mused to himself while entering the room, the Vice Captain of the Ninth squad chuckled to himself when he remembered her comment about being a low seat, seems she had been telling a bit of a lie to him when she said that but no problem really, he didn't mind it anyway. Figuring it would be rude of him to not voice his presence since they could almost certainly sense his reiatsu anyway. "Hello you two, Hope I'm not interrupting anything too important, if so I can leave I guess. I just wanted to come and congratulate the newest addition to the vice captain ranks and my old friend Kiisho's newest subordinate on his promotion." he said with a bow to Zeb, "And to see if I could treat him to a drink or something, since there hasn't been much to do around these parts for ages." He said with a yawn, "However if ya are busy with your friend here I will simply have to take a rain check on the offer." he said with a small shrug and an easy grin.

"You come to my new office, knock and then enter without anyone saying 'Come in'?!" Zeb roared in anger, his reiatsu flaring as the room began to heat up due to his inherently 'hot' reiatsu. "But then you come and offer drinks." After his initial burst of anger, he was all smiles "Come in, come in. My name is Zebediah Flamstel, and I'm the new Vice Captain for 12th Squad. You may call me 'Zeb'." Bowing eloquently, he motioned to Yomiko "And this is Yomiko Shihouin, residential free-loader of the Seireitei. She's also the mother of my Master."

Still smiling, Zeb motioned to his room and their surroundings "What do you two think of my room? I'm fairly certain that it doesn't seem like the kind of place for a weapon's room, but I shall make it work some how."

He's no stalker of the sort?

Yomiko gave him a sort of grimace when he stated that. Hell, he was trying to look for her, wasn't he? For what reasons, she didn't know nor did she care. The woman pursed her lips as he bowed, the grimace still on her face. By all means, the kid bothered her for one reason or another. She couldn't place her finger on what it was though, but soon that grimace disappeared on her face once he mentioned Ezru and his promotion. Ezru, she hadn't heard that name for a while. Her 'son'. At this point, she was unsure what their relationship was since, from what she could recall, he tried to kill her. The woman shook her head, a sigh leaving her lips as she decided to push those thoughts aside. That was all in the past.

"Well, congratulations on the promotion...," She mumbled awkwardly, taking her hands out of her pockets. It became awkward when he mentioned that she was Kazi's wife. Another name she hadn't heard in a while. Yomiko looked around at the office once more, taking in every detail. The weapons, the small forge, and the armor stuck out to her the most. Why would one have a small forge in their office and what was with the armor? Yomiko was drifting in and out of their conversation as her mind kept going back to the weapons and small forge. When the male mentioned bankai training, she looked back at him with a sort of 'you gotta be shitting me' type of look.

"What? I-I'm sorry, but your 'master' is sorely mistaken. I won't be training you for your bankai, it's clearly not on my bucket-list....," Yomiko told him, shrugging. "And don't call me 'Miss Freeloader', eithe--," She stopped herself once she felt another presence walk inside of the office. Yomiko turned her attention to the new man--- well, he wasn't entirely new. The woman gave him a sort of confused look, taking a few steps towards Zeb. She listened to the two men as they spoke, not bothering to speak up until Zeb mentioned her name. "Don't call me a freeloader! And don't just tell people my name, either!"

Smirking slightly, Zeb looked at her "Well, I could give out more information, but I'll keep that to myself. Master Ezru knew everything about anyone... It's the only reason he hasn't come back himself..." at this point his smirk faltered "He knows that his wife would kill him for coming back after just up and leaving 3 times in a row... But I am here to do what I want to do, and become strong."

"And for my preferred decor, I like designing and utilizing new weapon technologies. I also like old weaponry, and the level of intimidation that it can present to others." Zeb finished his words with a flourish to his desk, which was cluttered with designs and rough sketches.

Zaine watched the new Lieutenant's outburst with a bemused expression, brushing off the heated reiastu with a small release of his own to counter it. He was not put off in the least by the rapid swings in the man's mood, "He'll be a fun one that's for sure." he thought to himself with a chuckle, "Kiisho has his work cut out for him, taming this one will be a hell of a chore." Leaving his inner thoughts in order to return his attention to the current conversation Zaine nodded to Yomiko, "The invitation for drinks stands for you as well, madame Free-Loader." he said with a grin, his gold and crimson eyes glinting with impish mischief. Looking to Zeb he smiled, "I do think the decor of your room is interesting, and I can see several rare items in your possession that I would enjoy examining in the future, if that would be ok with you that is." he said blandly, "Anyway are we gonna keep wasting time here yammering or are you both gonna take up my offer eh?" He stated bluntly, trying to suppress a monstrous yawn, a battle that he was starting to fail in quite obviously. "Damn I need to get some more sleep, perhaps I could talk to Kiisho about something to help me with that..." he thought.

Yomiko ignored his mention of Ezru and what other information he divulged about him. Her eyes trailed over to the other individual in the room, giving him a frown. What the hell was with these kids calling her 'freeloader'?! Did she look like one or something? Furthermore, why was he there in the first place? Didn't he have something better to do than to stalk her around the Seireitei. Yomiko didn't like that grin nor that glint in his eyes, either. A grimace appeared on her her face once again."Don't call me that, kid. I'll promptly remove that grin off your face if you ever call me that again." She told him before looking over at Zeb then back at the other guy. Yomiko shook her head. "I don't drink. I'll have to decline your offer..."

"I must also decline a drink... Hayashi-taicho is supposed to come and welcome me to the Squad himself..." Zeb sighed as he sat back down in the couch. "Take a look at whatever you want," he spoke to the man "Just know that if you break something, I'll kill you. And you cannot touch any of my weaponry until I know your name." As he spoke, he reached under the couch where he pulled out a small hip flask "Good. They got my memo about alcohol."

Quickly downing the entire flask, he began to just let the warmth of the alcohol wash over him in waves. "Good stuff... Now, where were we?" Zeb asked Yomiko "You see... You'll do whatever I ask. Master Ezru knows everything about you..." Leaning in closely so that even Zaine couldn't hear he whispered in her ear "Miss Vaizard..."

"What's all this then?" Kiisho stepped through the door to his new Vice Captain's office, his haori fluttering lightly behind him. "Bit flashy for an office.. and far too much weaponry. I suppose it can't be helped though." He let out a long sigh, then turned his eyes to the others in the room, particularly the strange one whom Zeb had just whispered something to. Ignoring her for the time being, he turned glaring eyes on Zaine, his lips pressed tightly together. "Don't you have things to do, Tsukioma?" He may have known the young Vice Captain, but he preferred to greet his subordinates alone. "Or do you make a habit of shirking your duties to cavort with those who should be working?" His eyes flicked to the girl, furrowing slightly in thought. "And why do you smell of hollow, girl? Have you just come back from Las Noches?"

"How rude of me not to introduce myself, especially since I already know your name!" Zaine said almost sheepishly, giving Zeb a slight bow he introduced himself. "I am Zaine Tsukioma, Vice Captain of Squad Nine and I'll take a rain check on looking around, perhaps another time then?" He said with a mild tone, he then looked to Yomi and gave her a quick grin. "Now that's pretty tough language considering you claim to be nothing but a low seat, unless of course you were lying when you said that. Though I couldn't think of a reason you would do so unless you wished to hide something?" He said wickedly, however he simply turned from the woman as Zeb whispered to her in order to greet the latest arrival, the ever cheery Kiisho. "Well that's a helluva way to greet a friend who you haven't seen in ages." He said wryly, "And besides what work do you think I have in my squad? We haven't had much to do since the change of regime, no new recruits and no new missions means an almost non-existent workload for me." He stated lightly, "So I figured I'd stop in and say hello to your new Vice captain before stoppin in and seeing how you were handling your new job."
PostPosted: Thu Dec 23, 2010 2:45 pm

"I'm sorry but when someone does something or says something that I don't like and have warned them to stop doing... it really grinds my gears..." Yomiko mumbled in reply to the other Vice-Captain. She looked over at Zeb for the time being, watching him as he went about his business. This kid had to be either bold or just plain stupid. Was he really intent on blackmailing her? Yomiko had all the right mind to laugh in his face at his attempt to blackmail her. Did he really think that he'd get her to comply to his demands? Especially since he brought that up, out of all times? Yomiko shifted her weight on her left foot, completely ignoring the other person that walked inside of the room. Golden orbs concentrated themselves on Zeb, her lips pursed tightly in annoyance. Yomiko wanted to say something, anything, but she couldn't bring her mouth open to speak. Not with too many people in the room, there wasn't anything she could say at this point without casting more attention to her being.

When the newcomer addressed her, she lazily looked over at him. Her reeking of hollow? What the s**t? "Eh?! I didn't think I'd smell that bad. I came back a day ago, sir..." She told him, flashing him a smile as she shoved her hands in her pockets. Yomiko knew she had to get out of there and fast. Anymore time spent in the office, Zeb would make her uncomfortable and his Captain would ask more questions. She turned back to Zeb, giving him a small glare before she spoke. "We'll talk about this at a later time...," Yomiko whispered before turning on her heel. She muttered a small apology as she passed the Captain and left the office.

Onto her next destination...

Watching the action, and the rising tension between Zaine and his new Captain was enjoyable. I could let this go on... Zeb smirked at the though, and stiffled a giggle. "Zaine-san, could you leave for now? I'm sure to come visit you once I have some free time. Hayashi-taicho seems to have some important business..." he said as he stood up and bowed to his captain.

"Thank you for gracing us with your presence Hayashi-taicho." Zeb spoke calmly as he raised his head from the bow, and with smile he stood back up. "What is it that you wish for me to do sir?"
