Prisca stood on the other side of her door, looking up at the sky from where she could see under the little roof above the door. She looked back at her car, the door still standing wide open. From her viewpoint, she could just make out the bag sitting in the passenger side of the front seat. It was big and would require both of her hands to hold it. Prisca didn't like to use her powers on something that held delicate objects inside it. She didn't trust it. What if she lost concentration and the entire bag fell and broke on the ground? She'd have to turn back around and buy new supplies.
Giving a great sigh, she opened the door and went out into the cold air. As much as she didn't want to be outside for even a little bit, she couldn't leave it there. It had taken two previous trips getting all the bags inside. It just left this one.
She shuffled down the stairs and towards the car, careful of the ice under her warm slippers. It was still frosty from the night chills. Cuddling her warm wool shawl around her shoulders, she made her slow way over to the car, grabbing onto the door in case she was to fall. The cold was too distracting to even think about floating. As much easier it would be.
Grabbing onto the bag with both hands, she heaved it out, turned around, and shut the door with her foot. The action made the leg still in contact with the ground slide a little on the ice. Holding onto the bag for dear life, she attempted to right herself, throwing her tail up behind her to help with balance. It was all in vain. With a little cry, her feet gave way and she tumbled backwards into a pile of snow.
"....Ow." The good news? She still held tight to the bag. The bad news? Now her butt was wet. Or would be, once she got back inside.

Every night since that beach trip Xero had failed to sleep though the night without a terrible nightmare. All of them had the same theme, same story. Each night the nightmares became worse and he was loosing more and more sleep over them. Aside the loss of sleep Xero was also loosing his concentration. He couldn't focus on his former routine anymore. The nightmares pricked at his mind constantly giving him no mental relief.
Another strange mix to this puzzle was Prisca, the other mewtwo created for the purpose of life. His opposite. He thought of her a lot since their last meeting. Every time his mind wondered away from his task it wondered to her.
Today Xero found himself wondering around high above the city trying to think with a clear mind. It was still all in vein. He still could not get the horrible visions out of his mind. Every time he looked down at the busy city below the sinking feeling she was not there always set in. He knew something was not right deep down, but stubbornly refused to believe it.
He took a deep breath as he looked toward the woods. The snow made the land seem that much more peaceful from high up. His arms folded across his chest as his focus narrowed on a lovely cabin among the trees. "......" He couldn't help but stare at it.

Well, that was certainly painful. The point where her tail joined to her throbbed from the fall. Even though it had tried to move out of the way, she had unfortunately fallen directly on it. Now it lay rather limp on the snow, slowly getting colder from both the wind and the ground.
Prisca shivered and snugged the bag closer to her as she lifted from the ground. Instead of dropping back down on the ice, she stayed a few inches above the ground. She had learned her lesson. Float back to your house steps and avoid another fall.
Her slippered feet touched the wooden stairs outside her front door. Putting the bag down besides the railing, she stood back up to open the door when she finally noticed that little prickling feeling in the back of her mind. Her tail flicked to one side behind her like a cat, giving away what she wasn't showing on her face. That feeling in the back of her mind was one she would never forget. Not notice, sure. But never forget. Even before she met the source of it, she knew what it was.
She stood back up slowly and looked to one side of her. The forest around her cabin was quiet. Nothing out of the ordinary. She couldn't pinpoint from where that prickle came from. Looking behind her also revealed absolutely no one. She was sure he was there.
Ignoring the bag of supplies on her porch, she took a step down from her porch, one hand on the railing for support. Her tail curled protectively around her legs like a worried mother. It wasn't a feeling like the one that woke her at night. She couldn't yet tell if those were intentional. They felt, not like he was there, but like he wanted her there. She spend many hours worrying and wondering whether she should leave or not. Her strong desire not to go and search him out herself kept her at home every night it happened. She didn't want to bother him.
Often she also found herself wondering if this same connection existed with a Mew.

The longer Xero watched and drifted toward the cabin the less he was concerned with keeping himself in the air. A costly mistake. Not but a moment later his mind slipped and he begun to fall from the sky back first. He was shocked that no matter how hard he tried he could not get control of his powers to become airborne once again. When he flipped around to see the trees rapidly approaching he gave up on trying to fly.
In a last effort he had managed to regain some focus as he crossed his arms and set up a blue shield around his body. Spectators would have easily been able to compare this sight to a blue comet slamming into the forest below with a loud crash. Xero had managed to get more control before slamming into the earth lessening the blow, but he still managed to break some tree limbs and create a nice sized crater with his barrier.
The barrier itself remained up for a moment after impact. It than flickered away leaving Xero to lay on his back and look up at the sky wondering what had just happened. It didn't help that his head now hurt immensely from the impact and the frustration at his own stupidity. Than, when he tried to get up, he found that more than just his head was aching from the crash. His whole body seemed to be in just as much pain as his head. He reluctantly lay back down and looked back up at the sky. Perfect... Hopefully a little rest would help him recover from what had just happened.
Little did he know he was only a half a mile away from the very cabin that had caused him to loose his focus.

(You know what, I will use her for the visual aids. -copycat- D<)
The woman on the step jumped at the loud crash behind her. Immediately, her head went around the corner of her house, one hand still on the supporting post, but she couldn't see anything. Jumping down and over the little bush besides the door, she stood still for a few minutes, waiting to see if anything else would happen. Silence. The world went back to being as quiet as it had been before. Most of the bird Pokemon would have flown south by now, so there wasn't even a scattering of Murkrow. She titled her head, puzzlement on her face.
That prickling feeling in the back of her mind was still there. It now made her wonder.
Timidly, she left her bag of supplies beside the door to rise into the air only as tall as the tops of the trees and in the direction of the sound. That was more force than she could ever remember hearing or seeing since coming here. It was always so quiet.
Just as she suspected, that feeling in the back of her mind grew slightly stronger. One hand flicked the top branch of a tree, the snow falling down to the floor of the forest. Everything up here seemed normal. Until her eyes found the edge of the crater through the trees, then the figure laying in the middle of it. Her eyes widened in surprise before they narrowed in concern. Without much hesitation, she glided down beside him to sit next to his head. Without yet saying anything, she bundled her long skirt in her lap and lifted his head to rest on the makeshift pillow on her legs. Better that than the hard ground.
"Broken anything?" was all she asked, her voice quieter than normal. She leaned over so he could see her face, her tail curling around her legs and under him for a little extra support. No smile lined the edges of her mouth.

Xero had shut his eyes so he could easily focus on healing rather than why he had fallen from the sky. It was a ridiculous situation and should never have happened in the fist place. That thought alone irritated him.
He had become so absorbed in his concentration that he had failed to react to Prisca's arrival. He knew she was there, he had felt her arrival, however he did not act as usual and prepare an attack. It wasn't until after she had his head in her lap did he open his eyes slowly to see her concerned face. His pupils narrowed into thin slits.
"....Nothing is broken...." He finally spoke after a short moment with a sigh. His fatigue was, to his dissatisfaction, obvious in his voice. More so for the lack of sleep than it was from the fall. ".......thank you......"
Xero didn't wait another moment before attempting to move again. He grunted quietly to himself as he managed to sit up right with the aid of his tail. The strangest part was being able to feel the chord attached from the back of his head to the lower back of the neck, one of the many mewtwo traits he retained. He had not noticed the ache there until now. His hand moved to rest on his neck, and the chord, in hopes to ease that strange ache.
"I did not hurt you did I?......."

Prisca's tail curled fully around her when Xero moved and it wasn't needed under him anymore. She stayed where she sat, smoothing out the skirt bundle to form a protective barrier of silk around her. By the sounds he made as he tried to rise, she wished he had stayed on her lap a little longer to fully recover from whatever had happened. And whatever had made the crater they sat in. Not that she was surprised by his moving. Even just having two meetings in their past showed her he wasn't too keen on physical closeness.
Clasping her hands like the lady she was in her lap, she looked at him. The concern for his well-being was still evident on her face and in her voice. "Why would I be hurt?" she asked, quite serious about the question. "No, I was outside my house. Better question is, are you alright?"
The fact that he didn't look nor sound it was in the back of her mind, but she wouldn't voice it. She couldn't even put a smile on her face.
"Do you need a moment? Or some help? I don't mind sitting here longer if you want to lay down." And she genuinely meant it.

Xero lowered his hand from his neck and let it rest by his side. He felt fortunate that his slip-up had not caused her any harm, and for the fact she had not witnessed the fall.
"....I will be fine..." He grunted as he leaned forward. His feet slid under his legs while his tail curled to the side. "Thank you for your offer... but you should not sit out here.... it is cold. You might get sick..."
Xero pushed off of the ground slowly with his feet and tail. At first it didn't seem as if the attempt would be successful, but a soft grunt later he was nearly upright again. Sadly it was a short lived success. Not long after he got to his feet the world begun to spin. He struggled for a moment to keep upright, but that soon proved to be a feeble battle. His legs buckled and he fell back to his knees frustrated at his own inability to do something so simple.

Prisca was quick to get to his side, kneeling down besides him with both of her hands on his arm. She hadn't been quick enough to get to him before his fall, but she figured it wouldn't matter. He'd just drag her back down. If he couldn't even stand, she wasn't sure how she was going to help him. He was too tall, even for her. This realization made her frown a bit.
She shook her head a few times at his suggestion to leave, her hands dropping down to the dirt in front of her knees. He looked so hurt. She couldn't just leave him there. "No matter what you say, I'm not going anywhere." Thinking for a moment, she reached over with both of her hands and took his hand in hers, pulling it back to her lap. "If it's too hard to stand, just stay still. Please?" Patting his hand, she smiled at him.
The woman looked around her for a moment, trying to piece together exactly what had hurt Xero so badly he couldn't stand. It couldn't have been an attack. There had only been one crash. She wouldn't for a second think, even caught unaware, something could beat up a fully powered Mewtwo. Nor could she find a reason for him to have done this to himself. Again, he should have enough control over himself not to hurt himself like she would. The crater, now that she really looked, reminded her of when comets fell from the sky. Which meant....
He fell?

Xero's hand flinched as Prisca held it in her own hands. His first reaction was to pull it away, however he quickly caught himself before the action could be taken. He stared a her hands as he contemplated trying to get back on his feet. Standing wasn't hard, it shouldn't be hard.
His gaze moved from her hands to her eyes. In that quick moment he saw her, Trinity, sitting in front of him. His eyes widened in shock. The illusion was short lived and his eyes narrowed again when reality set in.
"...I am fine..."
He let his hand slip away from Prisca's gentle hold and let it rest back in the dirt. Just sitting there was not an option. Once again Xero attempted to get back to his feet. This time his tail moved around further to his side for more support as his feet pressed from the ground. He didn't want to just sit still, he didn't want to be weak.

She let herself float up to eye level with Xero, her legs uncurling from her sitting position, but still bent upwards. Her tail curled upwards in the typical fashion, free from the restraint of her dress. Despite that he refused her suggestion to sit and rest a bit, she felt no real anger or frustration with him. She was just concerned. Seeing anyone hurt always brought out the motherly instinct that was common in her sex.
Placing her hands behind her back, she offered a little of her powers to help keep him upright, giving him a little pink glow. So long as he could stand and walk on his own, she could withstand his weight. As long as he didn't keep resisting her help.
"At least follow me back to my house, Xero," she sighed, the smile fading from her face. "I won't ask what happened, but there is nothing wrong with taking a moment to rest." For a moment, her eyes drifted to the sky. Still no snow, so that was good. Returning her purple gaze back to him, she added," It's warmer in there than out here. You can catch cold, too."
She drifted in front of him, turning around in midair and dropping back to her feet. The helpful aid she was giving him would stay up until she thought he would be fine without it.

The extra support from Prisca's powers were a great burden lifted from his struggle to walk. However, he did not accept the help. Like a scissor to a string Xero severed the aid Prisca was providing him. He did not want the help whether it was needed or not, it only proved how weak he had become.
"....Thank you for your concern..." He took a step back to brace himself than looked up at Prisca. "...However, you should not worry." It was hard to sound convincing when he seemed quite the opposite of alright. "....It is nothing."
In his mind it was genuinely 'nothing'. He could get over this himself and what this struggle would only provide was a way to get stronger. This train of thought was not obvious by any outward expression. In fact the only vibe he gave was lack of sleep and unsure whether he should accept the help offered or not. No one had ever helped him in this way before. He had been injured several times, but each time he got through it alone. This was new and very uncomfortable.

Prisca pursed her lips in a determined frown. No, she wasn't going back to the house. It didn't matter if she was here all day. Which of course she hoped she wasn't. Not only did she have some orders to do, but that would just leave her so very frustrated by the end of it all.
Shaking her head once again, she stepped forward until she was half a foot from where Xero stood. Before she could give him a chance to react or refuse, she grabbed his wrist and made a quick teleport back to her house. It had been a while since she had used the move. The scientist's son had taught it to her long ago as a quick means of escaping notice. She didn't like the feeling of using it, anymore. She wouldn't have if she hadn't deemed this a special case.
Where once were trees and an open sky, there was now a living room in pretty fall colors of brown, orange, and red. She had prepared it so Xero stood in front of the couch if he happened to fall. The backs of her legs were pressed tightly against her coffee table to leave that half a foot of space between them. Letting go of his wrist, she went back to her usual stance of standing with her hands in front of her dress. The bag on the step outside continued to be ignored.
"Why shouldn't I worry?" she asked, looking up at him and tilting her head slightly. Now that she got him where she wanted him, she was calmer. "I'm sorry if you're used to doing things alone and this makes you uncomfortable. It's not in my nature to leave someone I feel a connection with. I can't get used to the concept of anyone being alone."
Rising off the ground to keep the table from jamming into her legs, she smiled kindly at him at eye level. "It's not weak to accept my help, Xero. Everyone needs help. Even Arceus has those moments. No one can be at their peak condition all the time."

In that quick moment Prisca grabbed him Xero nearly retaliated with a shadow ball. His fingers flexed before black bolts jumped across his knuckles and a sphere formed in his palm. When he looked up to aim his attack he saw -her- again. It was a good distraction. Enough for him to loose concentration so that he would willingly be teleported away with Prisca.
Once in the living room he shook his hand than closed it into a tight fist. The black orb vanished instantly. His first instinct had proven useless, he didn't really want to hurt her, so immediately he thought to teleport away.
His eyes begun to glow a pale, almost gray, blue before the area around him begun to distort slightly. A good second more and it would have worked, however, before the teleport could be successful the the area warped back to normal and Xero found himself unable to stay awake any longer. His eyes about rolled back in his head when the glow flickered away. He than fell forward unconscious.
