ZONE 1: THE FESTIVE FOREST
crossing time: 2 days The gnomes begin separating students back into their previous groups. "Better to make a couple targets rather than just a single large one! Eggs n' baskets, right?" Satisfied, one gnome calls out to the Krumms, "Hey, snots, we'll be goin' this away!" The forest looms above, smelling of pine, peppermint, and woodsmoke. Here and there, students see something moving out of the corner of their eyes, along with the sound of rustling of pine needles. Maybe they really had been serious about there being battles? Quote: The OOC: this area takes 2 days to cross! When you make your "entry" post, your student does not get to post an "exit" until 48 hours later! You only need those two posts to cross, but your chances of getting to battle will be low if that's all you do, so go ahead and make with the regular RP here as well!

BATTLE INFO If an event GM quotes your post with an attack, then your student is under attack, ok. The battles will be one vs. one, and NOT group battles. To keep sanity, please just keep quoting the GMs posts. We do not care if the resulting quote tree is massive, right-o? YOU ALL START OUT WITH 25HP
Regular Attacks- are unlimited as long as your character isn't KO'd - are a simple melee attack (punch or kick or ankle biting or w/e) to use: - roll 2 6-sided - subtract 6 from your total - the final amount is your damage (getting a negative number with a regular attack will not decrease your HP) JOY Weapons- JOY weapons are like FEAR attacks, only usable ONCE per battle. (The exception being the Healing Bell. It has 5 uses overall, and can be used outside of battle) Pick one and stick with it. Christmas Wreath -> A circle of green complete with lights. Throw onto the enemy. There's a lingering smell of burnt plastic in the air... Roll 2 6-sided dice. If the first roll is even, you hit. If is odd, you miss. The second roll determines how much damage you did if you hit. EXTREME SNOWBALL LAUNCHER 5000 Roll two 8-sided dice. The first dice is the amount of damage you deal to your opponent. The second dice is the unfortunate backlash done to you. A Sack Full of Joy Reach in and start bombarding your opponent with random trinkets. Roll 3 6-sided dice. Damage done is the AVERAGE of the numbers rolled. If the total is EVEN, you hit. If the total is ODD, you miss. Yellow Snow Do not eat. ---SUPPORT--- Tangled Christmas Lights Chuck the ball of tangled lights at your opponent. Roll 1 6-sided dice. If odd you missed. If even, your opponent can't move for one turn. Carol of the Bells It's a bell. Ring it and restore someone's HP by rolling 2 6-sided dice. Usable five times.

Hearing the gnomes call for their group, Mei quickly reached for the Carol of the Bells to take along with her. She was regretting not having taking the extreme snowball launcher 5000 with her, but that weapon was just a little too risky for her. Maybe next time.. Besides, Mei was more a supporter, than a fighter anyways.
Feet crunching in the snow with every step, she halted and waited for the rest of the group to gather. "Tch, this place is gross.." She uttered, shaking whatever snow that clung to her boots. A futile attempt..
(( That was weird. I totally had this thread open, and then it switched to the Ickis car. o___o;; Not the first time this has happened though x:

Hazel took the Sack full of joy with her on her journey to Christmas.
It was so...cold here, even her boots with what is normally warm sand in them seemed to freeze solid, most unpleasant. She pulled the hood of her cloak up and put down her goggles just in case the white stuff tried to attack her eyes or something. She wished she would of made some friends on the train, but it would probably be quicker to make it out alone...

Rain was relieved to see some of the students from Krumm car. She had been worried sick about them. "I'm glad to see that you are both okay!" She did a check on her items, making sure she still had the two pills, the tent and the bag of yellow snow. "I have no idea where we are.. or what is waiting for us out there but it must be pretty dangerous if they are giving us weapons. Still, it would be nice to be able to use our abilities, wouldn't it?"
She wasn't sure what was going on but she was really happy to be reunited with the students from her car. She felt like she could take on anything with them by her side. It was really strange given she hadn't met most of them before boarding the train.

Turning, her eye's focused on Rain as she reached the two of them. Though Mei didn't know her all to well, she was glad to see that she was safe as well. "You too." Examining their surrounding, she nearly cringed at the sight. Everything looked the same for miles. Trees, snow, more trees.. How long would it be till they reached the town anyways? This trip better be worth the trouble..
Its true what she said. Something dangerous must be waiting for them. Why else would they have to arm themselves? Was this even a good idea? Many of the students, including herself, were as inexperienced as hell. Just how many of them actually planned on making it if they walked into trouble? Though, it would be interesting to test her abilities. "I guess we'll fi---" Her gaze dropped to the bag of awfully yellow snow in Rain's grasp, before she subconsciously began to back away from the ghoul. "Is that..?"

The crashing train had been the last thing she had been expecting and Simone was immensely relieve to find that she hadn't gotten hurt. Most of the other riders, in fact, hadn't gotten hurt which was good. The demon sighed as she dusted some snow from her hair and looked to the gnomes as they began to separate everyone out into groups. Hm. Their logic did make sense...
Simone grabbed a Christmas Wreath before jogging over toward the voices of Rain and a few others. The area must be dangerous if they're handing out weapons to the students. While she wasn't much one for close up combat, having a weapon she could throw made her feel a bit better. The cold wasn't much of a bother to her, her inner heat keeping her quite comfortable. If any snow got on her skin, it would melt and evaporate soon enough, like rain...only a bit colder. A relieved smile passed over her features when they came into sight. "Oh, hey! Are y'all okay?" She said as she drew closer, glancing between Mei and the bag of yellow snow. Simone blinked, her brows inching up her forehead. "Huh. These weapons sure are interesting if anything..."

Alwine was crushed.
Well, it was more like her camera was crushed.
"All my paraloids..." she said, her voice rising to an agonized moan.
She looked over at Rain before bustling over to her. Not only had her camera been crushed, but her dress had been crushed as well... resulting in Alwine wearing only the remnants (which appeared more like a tattered miniskirt than the huge dress before). Luckily for the shy haunt, she still had on her famous bloomers (though her boots tended to phase into wisps of smoke).
"Rain! Oh I hope you don't mind-- I apologize but--" Alwine hugged the undead tightly, though it felt rather faint since, well, she was a ghost. "I'm so glad you're all right...!!!"
Alwine pulled away and held out the Carol of the Bells that she had brought along.
"I hope I won't have to use this too much, but..."
Alwine turned around and waved to Simone. So many people were okay, thank goodness...
