 Himeko laid peacefully, sleeping beside Kaname. She was often tired due to chasing after her two crazy boys, though lately Hollow had been pitching in. Hollow had hated the kits at first, jealous of how they stole her sisters affection and how they were a part of Kaname, but eventually she grew to love them. It was thanks to Hollow that Himeko wasn't always chasing after them, and she was lucky that Apries and Chione were not the kind to get in trouble. Chione liked to be part of the group, but she was a good kit. And Apries was to quiet and shy to really do anything bad. It was Marius and Akori. Really, where had they gotten their energy from? Neither of the parents were like them in their aspect of causing trouble....
Chione woke with a yawn that became a squeak, shaking her head so her ears flapped against her skull. Large blue eyes innocently peeked up from over her mothers tail, having been curled against her mother. She turned to look at her winged father, wondering lightly if she would ever have wings before slipping away from her mother, looking about for her brothers.
Where were they? With Aunty Hollow? No, Hollow was not around right now. She had gone to hunt. The kit pondered quietly on where her siblings were before turning to her father, blinking at him.
"Daddy, where is Marius and Akori?"

 Apries made a sleepy, protesting mewling noise as the others woke him up. He lifted his head and peeked at the others from over the mound of fluff that was his favorite spot, Daddy's tail. Unlike Chione he there was no confusion on his part. Marius was always up to something, and Akori always had to know what was going on in that slightly creepy manner of his.
He whimpered a little and tried to sink back into Daddy's fluffy tail, not wanting to be awake yet.

Kaname groaned and looked to see the other two where awake. Well at least they had the common sense to sleep in. Apries seemed ready to go straight back to sleep. However with the sun up Kaname really did need to get to tribe duties. Maybe he could let Himeko sleep in some more and drop them off with the tribe’s other carer Fyra. "They are in deep trouble that’s where they are" he lightly growled but used a paw to deposit Apries on his back covering him with his wings. For some odd reason Apries seemed to love his tail. “in all reality who knows… would you like to help me find them and let mommy sleep some more?” he asked his daughter. She had a lot of her mother’s traits; in fact after Akori she had the most out of his children. However there was no mistaking who her father was.
“Gah that hurt Akori… what in the world are you doing out here you are supposed to be sleeping” Marius sighed from his position down in the sand. Even though he couldn’t see who had attacked him the only ones small enough where his siblings, and Miss Jaci and Mr. Raz, although they where more likely to pounce some one else. From then it was easy to narrow it down from their siblings. Apries liked sleeping in and Chione would never leave with out Father or Mother’s approval.
“So are you… you’re going to get us in trouble again” Akori stated quite ready to blame his second older brother. Suddenly a rather wide expression appeared on his face as the top of the sand dune gave away sending the two spiraling down the side and seconds later they where flying in the air as they went splashing into the short end of the Nile. Akori grabbed onto the side of the nearest reed and held on tight…. “thiiiis is all your fault” he blamed seeing Marius right next to him.

Apries grumbled and tried snuggling even more against Daddy's back, but he knew he would have to get up eventually if for no other reason that to find his brothers. He wasn't quite sure what Marius had stuck in Horus' nose the last time he got away, but you could hear the Elder's shrieks from a mile away which suggested it was highly unpleasant.
The small male, a perfect blend of both his parents, slipped off of Daddy's back and slid down to the ground. He stretched and yawned a giant kit yawn, wondering if it was worth it to try to fall asleep again or just remain awake now that he was up.

Himeko yawned lightly. Ever since she gave birth she had been really tired, and hadn't caught up on sleep. However, she felt bad about having Kaname deal with all the kits, looking up at her mate with a faint smile. "I can help." She said, raising herself off the ground and tiredly attempting to shake sleep from her head. The frail female stretched, smiling at Kaname until she heard a loud yell. "You will not!"
Hollow padded up to the four, smiling at Chione when she nuzzled her aunt before glaring at Kaname. "I'm so glad they do not have wings like him, it'd make finding them harder. Himeko, go lie down and rest, I'll help this bird brain rally up his clones." She nudged little Chione, the kit resembled Himeko the most, her eyes were the same and even if she was red like Kaname her figure was like Himeko's. Then there was Apries, who has orange all over him, even had the orange collar his mother did. She adored him, too.
It wasn't like she didn't love the other two, but they were troublemakers and she just couldn't understand where they got it from. She flicked her tail at Himeko, sighing. "Stay sis." She mused before lifting Chione onto her back. She glared at Kaname, grunting a sentence to him.
"Come on big daddy, let's go."Chione wiggled into the small of Hollow's back, grinning at her rough but loving aunt. She wondered absently what Hollow's kids would be like, glancing at her gentle mother. It made sense her mother had kits first, Hollow was still in the state of mind of calling kits mindless fur balls. But Hollow was loving, and Chione recognized that.
"They aren't his clones. None of us look a lot like either of our parents, we all have mixed markings!"

Suddenly something dawned on him and Kaname knew where the twins got their energy and their devilishness. Of course he wasn't going to tell Hollow that it was from his side of the family. no of course not that would be almost suicide. However morin was sooo dead next time he came to visit. "uhuh if you think you can call me big daddy" he rolled his eyes. "However dont worry. They are somewhere on tribe grounds. I'll find them" he said reassuringly towards Himeko.
Suddenly the river changed current and a well sent tidal wave washed the two kits back up onto the back. Marius's eyes went really really big as he turned back towards the river. "Thank you" he said with a bow like he had dad do when he was tending to the shrines the modeities lived in. Atum was the river god so it would make sense they had been rescued. He giggled a bit knowing he loved Kemet almost as much as Horus probably did. Of course Marius would go out and explore the world but he would come back to kemet. He just knew this is where he wanted to stay.
Akori tilted his head to the side as he watched the Nile. It truly was a weird place. One day it would try and flood all your fields and plants and crops or hide the big green scaly things. Next day it would be gentle and help you. "Maybe it has narbles" Akori thought and then turned to lick Marius again. He giggled before running off again.
"GAH! Akori quit that" Marius glared.

Apries blinked the last of the sleep from his eyes as his aunt found them. He wasn't quite sure why Aunt Hollow was always so grumpy, especially with Daddy, but Momma said she'd always been like that. He could also sense her slight aversion to kits, but that seemed to have more to do with the male permakit in the tribe, Raz. Apries shuddered a little. The black and white fox scared Raz a bit, as did his somewhat overenthusiastic and blunt companion, Jaci. Aunt Hollow and Raz couldn't stand each other though.
"Do you need us to help," he asked, frowning a little like he wasn't sure whether he wanted to hear a yes or a no.

She glanced down at the kit, rolling her shoulders. "If you want, but we don't need you. Though, it'd be helpful if you did tag along. Ask you're mom." She said, eyes narrowing at the word "mom". Sheesh, this was really starting to drain her. Himeko being stolen from her by five creatures, five creatures that were replacing Hollow. Himeko wouldn't need Hollow anymore soon.
She shook this thought aside, feeling Chione shift her weight and helping the kit find her place on her back. She looked at Apries, lowering her head and smiling at the kit. "If you wanna come, hop onto my back and get behind your sister, help her stay in place. She's a klutz, like her mom." She said affectionately, licking the kits head. Even if he was stealing her sister the kit was a part of Himeko, and that was enough for Hollow to love and protect.
"I'm not a klutz!" Chione pouted, large blue eyes lowering at the ground. "Neither is momma." She added before glancing at her brother, squirming on Hollow's thin back. Really, the girl was tough and athletic, couldn't she had a broader back or something? "Come on Apries, let's give momma some rest and help daddy and aunty."
Himeko eyed the group, ears lowering. "Be careful." She whispered quietly, worry in her eyes. She was a bad mother, wasn't she? Letting Akori and Marius run off! She was a carer, too! Her own kits, her first mission as a carer and they were off running about and amuck! The black and orange vixen lowered her head onto the sand, sighing softly. She was nothing more than a failure as a carer. And now, she couldn't even get up and look for her babies.
"Are you sure I can't help?" She questioned, raising her head earnestly.

“Himeko it’s understandable that you cant be out running about and finding the kids just yet. You have to rest and get your strength back so you don’t get sick and die. Just help our children by recovering your strength. You’ll be fine and chasing after them in no time. Besides Atum says they are down by the river. It should be no problem to catch them okay. I’ll take them flying and maybe their energy will cool down.” Kaname said walking back to his mate and licking her cheek. A thought occurred to him and he chuckled. “You don’t have narbles by the way.” Ah his son was affecting him more than he thought.
“You don’t have to unless you want to Apries. I’m probably just going to find them and scold them a bit and maybe go flying if Persephone has everything in control at the temples. If you want to stay and get some more sleep or hang out with your mother a bit that’s perfectly fine”
Suddenly Akori looked back at the river and shuddered before tugging on Marius's ear. "we have to go. The river has narbles" Akori stated trying to drag Marius further away. "really it does, it has really bad Narbles. We have to go"
"okay what are narbles?" Marius stated wondering why his younger brother was so weird like that. Half the stuff he said didnt make any sense. of course dad could talk to stuff Marius couldn't see or hear as well and Marius knew the modeities existed. "alright alright stop damaging my ear"

It took Apries a couple tries to properly get on Aunt Hollow's back. It wasn't that he was clumbsy or anything, it was more of a confidence issue. Everytime he prepared to jump the little voice of doubt caused him to falter and stole the speed he need. He did finally make it up though, and tried his best to keep himself and his sister steady. "'Kay, ready," he squeaked.

A slight noise caught his attention and slowly drew him out of his sleep. Kaname yawned and opened his eyes as the sun rose up over the land and hit the white pyramids causing them to glitter. With a slight smile at the view he then used his paws to rub his eyes and turned to face his mate. He smiled leaning over rub her cheek lightly, not enough to wake her up and looked around. He could see Apries and Chione… and suddenly a groan escaped his throat. Of course why would he think that one day would go by where Akori and Marius had gotten up when they where supposed to. He just hoped Maruis hadn’t convinced Akori to go prank anyone. Kaname was still apologizing to Horus for the last prank.
Akori had been awakened by his brother and watched as he had slipped out. He wondered why considering Dad didn’t want them leaving the temple until at least some one else was up and there was Marius disappearing again. He looked over towards his siblings and parents and then back out towards Marius… well he better follow just in case anything bad happened. Of course boredom finally got to him as Marius seemed only interested in a lizard and he pounced.
