The next few days had passed and word of a large fight had started to circulate through the school. The locker room had been found to be a mess, blood all over the place like a massacre had happened. After some thorough investigation a number of the students who had been involved were contacted and brought to the office one evening after school. Though they hadn't been told a few of them knew their parents were on their way.

With a huff Tessa crossed her arms, nose up in the air. She had told them she knew nothing about whatever they were talking about, though they had clearly found bits and pieces of her dress. So...since she was going down she was going to drag as many people with her as possible. All except Nami, she wasn't about to tell on the Queen.

"This seems a little sever, calling our parents." She huffed again, shifting uncomfortably. She had on long sleeves, a dark color that easily hide all the scratches and bruises she had obtained.

Klyde sat slouched in his chair, eyes focused on the floor in front of him. He looked no more happy than the day of the incident. Misery was written on his features and his hand kept brushing the fabric of the high neck shirt he was wearing. It was just enough...to cover the scar across the front of his throat.

Mitsu had never been called to the office before and she would have been nervous if she hadn't felt so down. At the moment it looked like the life had been sucked out of her, though the wounds she had sustained were nearly all gone. The smaller scratches across her face and arms were no longer visible, the larger cuts well on their way. She only managed to have two scars from the incident, a cross shaped scar across her palm and a small tear above her chest where she had been stabbed.

This was it.

Riyo hadn't slept the night prior, and it was obvious. Her clothes looked a little messy covering her form, and her eyes were bloodshot.

But something had changed since the incident. Next to the misery, her eyes held...

Fear. Pure fear. It was something she hadn't displayed up to this point... Because the only thing she feared had been called to the school today.

Staring intently at the opposing wall, her hands nervously twitching, she tried to keep her composure. Being obvious would only make it worse... But that didn't mean she wanted to keep silent...

Desmond stayed next to Klyde, looking very much the same. Though... He couldn't help but look over to Mitsu every once in awhile.

He kept trying to tell himself he'd done the best thing for her. That she'd find somebody who would really make her happy now... He had done it to avoid getting it worse from Tessa...

But he wasn't the good guy... And there was nothing he could say to mend the gaping wound he'd made when he tore her heart out.

What a mess this had turned out to be so far. Hakim wasn't even really sure what to make of the whole situation. But nonetheless, it would be dealt with. Rubbing his head, he waited at his desk for everyone to arrive. He could only pray that this would go smoothly.

"What seems severe, was what happened in that locker room," the dragon replied calmly, "One way or another some of them would have found out and then they'd likely wonder why they weren't contacted."

Blade sat, brooding over what had happened. He didn't look any happier than the others in the room. The deal with parents being called, he could care less. There wouldn't anyone be coming on his behalf. Being in trouble here was really the least of his concerns at the moment anyway. He looked over towards Riyo, seeing the fear in her eyes, and he knew exactly why.

Shun was a little late, if only because his father had shown up fairly early. The two could be heard practically shouting at each other in the hall in a mix of English and Japanese. It may have been possible that a few blows were exchanged while they were still out there. Eventually, they came on inside, with the younger Kuroda having practically been pushed in. With a glare at the older man, he spat out a curse before planting himself down.

His glare shifted towards Desmond at least once, though who knew if Shun could look more pissed than he already was at this point?

Remaining standing, Kaitou regained his composure, though he still looked rather displeased here.

Soon Suto arrived and with him he had the parents of the children present. At least most of them. As a courtesy he had walked outside to lead them here. "Right this way." He held the door open waiting for everyone to enter.

Klyde only looked up momentarily as the door opened. He knew both of his parents wouldn't come but he had hoped his mother would be the one to show up. He was sorely mistaken. His father, who looked very much like him, came walking through the door. It appeared he had come straight from a business meeting, suit and tie as straight and neat as a pin, hair slicked back in a more professional style.

The look on the elder vampire's face was clearly of displeasure as he came to stand behind Klyde resting a hand on his shoulder. Quietly he put a great deal of pressure down, eyes boring into his son's. There were no words spoken but it was clear Klyde was in for something.

Flinching only slightly Klyde turned back to the front of the room, eyes finally settling on Riyo. He could see how scared she was, almost smell her fear.....what had he done?

Tessa's parents were next but instead of looking angry they looked upset. Immediately they went to their daughter's side trying to see what was wrong, find out what had happened, and if their precious baby had been hurt. After a few moments of doting Tessa shooed them away so that they could sit beside her.

"Tell us, Mr. Hakim, what has happened?" Mrs. Lancaster asked.

Mitsu looked up as the door opened, her dull eyes waiting for her brother to appear. He would surely be disappointed in her. One parent after the other and Mitsu was starting to wonder where her brother was. Maybe he was running behind?

Desmond's parents had showed up a few minutes early, as was their usual routine. But... They didn't seem mad. On the contrary, both of them had small smiles on their faces.

They looked like... An abnormally normal family, if that made sense. His mother had big, obviously sprayed blonde hair wearing a casual dress while his father was the picture you'd imagine of a father. Short blonde hair, green eyes clad in glasses, and a suit that probably held a pipe somewhere.

"This is the first time we've been called to the school, sport." Yeah, he called Desmond 'sport'. It was as if they were stuck in the 70's. "Everything okay?"

Desmond cringed at the sight of his parents, not really afraid... But ashamed. "Obviously not." He shot back, following them into the room, his mother giving him a pat on the shoulder. "Yes, what happened to the children?" Mrs (whatever desmonds last name is I really can't remember) asked, obviously sounding more selfless than Tessa's.

Riyo's mother, however, hadn't showed up yet... Which made Riyo terrified. Her being late meant that she had to cancel or move a meeting... Which would mean things would be much worse. Her heartbeat quickened, knowing full well what was going to happen.

And then the clicking of heels came down the hallway, followed by a woman chattering on the phone, using business jargon.

"I'm so sorry I had to cancel our meeting, Mr. Smith. No, please. Call me Anne."

Riyo had been right.... And her eyes only seemed to widen as the figure formed an older woman, sharing no traits with her daughter except their blonde hair. Only hers was much shorter, perhaps a cuter look.

Her makeup hid her age well, for she looked beautiful. Dolled up in a business dress with heels that brought her up to Riyo's size. Her eyes were a sparkling blue and ears were pearly white. She was almost Riyo's opposite...

"Yes Mr. S- I mean John." She smiled and laughed. "My daughter will probably be home when you visit, and I'd love for you to meet her. Mhm. I'll tell her you said that." As she spoke, she walked right past Riyo who fell into formation behind her, walking into the office still on her phone. "Thanks again, sir. You have a good one." Hanging up the phone, she tossed it in her little purse she toted around and had a seat, looking around before looking up at Hakim. Riyo said nothing. She simply had a seat next to her mother... Slouching over in the chair and leaning away from her like a beaten animal.

"So. What has... Dear sweet Riyo gotten herself into now?" She asked Hakim with a fake smile. One she'd practiced many times before. Looking around at the other parents, she couldn't help but laugh. "Gotta be something big this time, huh?"

Riyo's eyes managed to look in the direction of Klyde, noticing how much he looked like his father... But focusing more on the son than him. She looked terrified, as if she'd start shaking like a leaf at any time...

Hakim didn't answer Ms. Lancaster right away. One reason was due to him wanting to wait for more parents to arrive. The other was that the phone had rung right about then so he had to answer. The conversation was rather brief and he didn't seem entirely pleased with the news he received. Hanging up, he turned directly towards Mitsu.

"Your brother won't be able to join us here, I'll discuss it with you once we've finished this meeting," he said softly before looking about. With Riyo's mother coming on in, it was about time to start.

"Since everyone else is accounted for here, I'll go ahead and answer. All the students gathered here were essentially involved in a large brawl in the girl's locker room. The exact details of why it happened are lost upon us, but a fair amount of blood was shed," the dragon said, "We're here to discuss what to do of it."

Blade took note of how different Riyo looked from her mother, and for the moment he was thrown off by how... sweet she sounded? There was a contrast there between now and from what little he had heard over the phone that one day. It had to be a front. Speaking of that, his gaze shifted back towards the daughter, who still looked terrified.

As for Shun, he was just sitting angrily with his father nearby. He bore some resemblance to the man, but he was always told that he had his mother's eyes. Kaitou was relatively disinterested in the others that had come in and wanted to get this whole meeting over with soon. Regardless of the punishment the school had for his son, he had plans for the boy later. Shun was sure Mr. Kuroda was planning something, but he could care less. He'd fight back all the same.

Once all the parents were through the door, Suto let it close allowing for a little more privacy. Walking over to Hakim he stood behind him as the headmaster took the front of the matter. He was only there for 'support' and advise after all.

Hearing the phone ring, Mitsu turned in the direction of the headmaster, though his conversation eluded her. She was far more focused on the door and awaiting the arrival of her brother. However, it appeared he wouldn't be here....She wondered why. "O...okay." She said softly as she looked around the room at the other students and their parents. The only person who was also alone was Blade it seemed.

As her gaze shifted around a bit more it stopped on Shun. He looked incredibly angry....and it was because he had only come to help. His father seemed to be just as pleased and she felt bad that he had gotten involved. Turning away she glanced in Desmond's direction briefly before her eyes fell back to the floor. She couldn't help but feel incredibly alone at the moment.

Klyde's eyes widened when Riyo looked toward him, a look of pure terror on her face. Her mother acted nothing like he expected but neither did his father. People of business were often good at hiding their true selves. With a sinking feeling that he had thrown her into a den of hungry lions, he grimaced, eyes turning to Hakim as he started to speak.

"A brawl?" Mr. McBane asked, his tone just as business-like as his outfit. Looking down at his son with disapproving eyes he spotted something rather curious. "What is this?" He started to tug at the collar of Klyde's shirt having seen the scar on the back of his neck. "Is this what you got from your fight?" His tone never wavered and was constant and smooth. "Your mother is going to be furious you know. She was angry when you got your ears pierced."

His father had tried to pull his collar down further to see how far the scar went but Klyde brushed his hand away. "Stop." His voice was raspy and hoarse, nothing like it should have been. It almost sounded like he had a bad cold. "It happened a while back, I was fooling around, nothing more..."

At the word brawl, Tessa's mother gasped. "A...a fight?" She looked to her daughter with concern and worry. "You were in a fight?"

"Did you get hurt, Cupcake?" Her father asked.

Tessa merely waved them off not wanting their doting to prolong this meeting any longer. She wanted it to be over and done with.

"A large brawl?" Desmond's mother gasped, looking down at her son with what seemed like concern. "Oh honey, are you hurt?"

Desmond glared over at his mother, a little pissed that she still asked those questions. "I'm a regenerating walking corpse. What do you think?" He mumbled under his breath. That made her shut up.

Desmond's father looked over to Hakim with a frown. "Well, what do you think is in order, sir?" He didn't deny that his son might've done something, nor did he appear mad at the boy... It seemed that his son was going through his own turmoil.

Riyo's mother seemed to scoff momentarily, but quickly recovered her composure. "Well Riyo." She started, looking over at the girl with disapproving eyes. "You really did it this time, didn't you?"

Riyo sheepishly looked up at her mother, submissively nodding her head.

As Anne seemed to notice the huge scar on Klyde's neck, her eyes immediately turned back to her daughter, a look of fury conflicting with her smile. "Mr. Hakim." she started, not drawing her eyes back from her daughter. "I'm not sure how the rest of these children are involved, but I can assure you that the cause of the fuss was probably Riyo's fault. She has a lot of emotional problems from when her father left us because he didn't want children." Or rather, didn't want her, as her mother would tell her continuously.

"I've been changing her schools because of her behavioral problems, but it seems nothing is gonna change it. I'm a busy woman and can't be coming out to these things all the time." It was obvious what she was suggesting... And it made Riyo want to vomit.

With everyone aside from Mitsu's brother accounted for, Blade looked around and watched the parents take in the news. He had little doubt in his mind that his own were disappointed wherever they were if they had any idea of this. Then again, he wouldn't be surprised if they were just disappointed with how his life was in general.

The array of different reactions were to be expected and Hakim looked over them all before looking towards Desmond's father.

"I was thinking of possibly an in-school suspension," he suggested before glancing towards Suto to see what sort of input the man would have. While Hakim wasn't entirely trusting of the science teacher, he had no evidence of the man doing anything wrong. It was a part of the reason why Neko had been sent to do some investigations. That aside, Suto usually had some ideas in mind when it came to punishing. Hakim wasn't sure if that was necessarily a good or bad thing.

His attention shifted over towards Riyo's mother as she seemed to insinuate pulling the girl out of the school.

"I'm sure there is something we'd be able to work out to try and help. I don't believe that constantly shifting the girl about has helped with any issues she may have," he stated. If the girl had issues due to her father leaving, it was possible she had some attachment troubles? Always having to meet new people and lose old friends didn't seem like something that would help with that sort of thing to the dragon.

The thief's eyes widened at the woman's suggestion. While he didn't know her all that well, he didn't want to see Riyo disappear. That aside, he didn't want her mother to have a hold of her. Fingers twitching, he had to keep himself from jumping up and shouting a no at her.

Both Shun and his father remained silent as the others spoke. Mr. Kuroda, in general, just seemed a little impatient. He didn't care that his son had gotten into a fight; the fact that he had gotten himself caught was of a greater concern. That and he didn't know why he had started anything in the first place. It better have not been something trivial.
PostPosted: Tue Dec 14, 2010 6:09 pm

Seeing Hakim glance up toward him that seemed to be his cue. "Yes, I propose that the children be put on a strict academic watch. Their activities after school will involve extra class time with me or a chaperon to work or sports." Suto tried his best to keep a serious face and not grin like a fool.

He had found the little video that had been left in the locker room. He knew every little juicy detail that had happened. In fact he had watched it over and over again. Of course, Mitsu had to be punished, that went without saying but...the other girl. Riyo. What an intriguing specimen. Even the Kuroda boy was interesting. What an odd ability. It would be interesting to test him at his limits. So...he couldn't very well lose his test subjects.

"The best course of action would be to keep them here," Suto continued with confidence, his golden eyes looking very serious. "Whatever problems your children may be facing it would be wise to allow us to counsel them and teach them as you've entrusted us to do. This just happened to be a serious matter that needed to be brought to your attention. But let me assure you, in all my years its not uncommon for children to fight and bicker. Hormones are high and erratic at this age and children are often not in control. I can also assure you, time with me, and this will not be a problem again."

With unease, Mitsu looked up at Suto as he began to speak, eyes quickly shifting back to the floor. More class time with him....would mean more time for....testing...and experiments. He always had something new he wanted to try or results on an old test were inconclusive. His favorite tools were anything that cut and it was apparent he liked to slice things up and dissect them. Looking nearly ill Mitsu tensed in her seat wishing she could go back to her dorm.

Klyde sat quietly, eyes darting to Riyo as often as he could risk it. Her mother seemed to be suggesting pulling her out.....and he hoped the teachers wouldn't let that happen. While the after school classes would no doubt be boring as hell it would at least mean Riyo would be safe here for the time being.

"No offense, Mr. Adolphus, but I have....something else in mind." Mr. McBane said evenly as his hand rested back on Klyde's shoulder. "My son needs to be shown that fighting will not be tolerated." At least not when he gets caught.

"Fighting isn't tolerated here either, Mr. McBane. We will take great measures to get that lesson to sink in." It was then that Suto finally smiled and Mr. McBane all but dropped the subject. It would be less work for him after all.

"T...that seems a little strict." Mrs. Lancaster started. "I don't think our Darling little Angel has done anything wrong."

"Do you really except us to go along with this when she was probably just defending herself?" Mr. Lancaster piped up.

"Mommy....Daddy," Tessa's voice was as sweet as pie as she got her parent's attention. "Am I going to be in trouble?" Looks like the victim routine was in full swing.

"Of course not, Sweet Heart. Just let us talk to the nice man." Mrs. Lancaster assured.

"So what is the course of action here?" Mr. Lancaster asked, his tone changing to the defensive.

Anne's smile faded at Hakim's disagreement with her... Methods.

"Are you insinuating I'm a bad mother, sir?" She asked tilting her head slightly and shooting him a glare. "You may not agree with my methods, but I certainly don't agree with yours either."

Looking to the handsome gentleman as he spoke, Riyo's mother practically rolled her eyes at the answer Suto had given them. "Fighting isn't tolerated? Then where the hell were all of you when this happened?" Her voice was getting snippy. "I paid good money to enroll my child here and it seems that all its doing is paying for you men to twiddle your thumbs." She spoke clearly, a small undertone of anger in her voice. "My daughter knew this was her last chance, and she screwed it up."

Shooting a glare at Riyo, she took a pause before continuing. "Furthermore, one of my business partners saw her in town gallivanting with some boy. We'll be lucky if she's not knocked up or something." Knowing full well that it probably wasn't going to happen. She liked throwing threats around, though.

Desmond's parents didn't look particularly upset by the verdict. "Could be worse, right sport?" his father asked, a little smile as he patted Desmond on the shoulder.

"It should be worse..." The boy mumbled to himself, looking down at the ground intently.

Though, the two parents looked at eachother with concern as Riyo's mother continued. "You know... She has a point." Desmond's mother reluctantly pointed out, looking around the room.

Rubbing his forehead as Anne spoke up against Suto and himself, Hakim looked about towards the others while trying to think of his words carefully. He picked up the anger in her voice so he was going to try and be as diplomatic about this as possible. It seemed that things won't go as smoothly as he had hoped.

"I'm not insinuating that at all Ma'am," Hakim started, though it was hard to say if he really meant that.

"He might not, but you as hell are," grumbled Blade under his breath, going off of the bits of info he had picked up on the woman over time. It didn't go unnoticed though.

"Mr. Faryn," he said more firmly, though there were no signs of anger or irritation in his tone, "Keep such thoughts to yourself. We'll have none of that here."

"I'm afraid I have to agree with Mr. Adolphus," Hakim went on, going back on track, "We can't have eyes at all corners of the school, things are bound to slip by. This is a place of learning, not a prison, after all. The students' welfare is within our best interest and since they are enrolled here, we will take the responsibility in making things right."

For the most part, Shun wasn't even really paying attention to everything that was said. His gaze drifted over towards Mitsu, feeling some concern for her. He knew Suto was doing a number of things to her; he didn't know the full story, and he didn't even know they had continued on. It seemed that kill off Flopsy didn't change much. But then again... Suto did stitch the dead rabbit back together like nothing happened.

Suto couldn't help his smile from widening. "Well, ma'am, as Mr. Hakim has made clear, we are an academic staff not a group of guard dogs." Pushing his glasses back up his nose, his eyes gave a glint of cruelty behind them though he tried to hide it. "But I can see your method has worked wonders for you thus far. If the school hopping doesn't prove that than your child's current demeanor certainly does."

Suto turned curiously toward Riyo who looked as frightened as a rabbit being placed on the chopping block. Such a different side of her he thought he would never see. Generally she was rather....rude shall we say? Blunt and quite frankly not apt to take any s**t....so it was a curious matter how this woman, despite being her mother, had her so neatly under her thumb. With the power Riyo had she could easily take her life. He supposed it was like the pathetically sad videos they showed of circus elephants. How they were trained at an early age with a chain around their foot. At that size they couldn't get away but they continued to hold the idea that they couldn't escape even as they got bigger and more powerful.

Mitsu took a deep breath as the parents in the room started to speak up in a sort of protest to the matter. The noise was rather distressing so she did her best to tune it out.

Mr. McBane rolled his eyes as he looked to his watch. He had another meeting shortly and couldn't be bothered with this for long. The only reason he had come was because he had been much closer than his wife at the time. "Not to sound pressing on the matter, but if that is the verdict, so be it. I'll check back in a week to see how my son is fairing." Looking down at Klyde, Mr. McBane smiled just slightly, a look that was rather frightening. "Be sure to listen to whatever they tell you. When you come home for the holidays you're mother and I will deal with you then."

Klyde sighed softly, "Yeah whatever..." He huffed, his voice still sounding rough. It hadn't quite returned to normal yet.
PostPosted: Tue Dec 14, 2010 7:29 pm

Riyo's heart sank as Suto spoke out against her mother.

There was certainly no chance she was staying now.

Anne immediately looked to Blade at his comment. "Looks like your parents didn't teach you any manners." she said with a cruel smile, realizing full well what the absence of his parents might've suggested.

Though her composure seemed to snap right in half as the science teacher spoke to her in a demeaning way. "I don't need to take s**t from some pencil neck in a labcoat who had to take some second-rate job as a teacher." Riyo's mother said bluntly, immediately grabbing Riyo's arm to pull her up and walk her out. "Congratulations on losing a student." The woman was obviously fuming...

And Riyo was obviously about to cry. "B-bye Mitsu..." Riyo managed to say, her voice cracking as she forced herself to hold back the wave of fear and sadness coursing through her. The last person she laid her eyes on was Klyde, half wanting to scream for help before the door closed.

But she didn't.

Desmond's parents silently watched the situation, feeling the tension rise... While Desmond was focused on Mitsu. Riyo was leaving, and possibly one of the biggest crutches Mitsu had. All because of what Klyde and he had done...To say he felt bad was an understatement...

"Well uh..." Desmond's father started awkwardly after Anne had left. "I suppose we'll leave Desmond's punishment up to you, Hakim."

Though his mother still seemed a little upset by the whole ordeal. She, however, wouldn't press the matter farther. Better to drop it and smile again than have to deal with stress, after all.

Narrowing his eyes at the woman, Blade felt a bit stung by her comment. The hint of cruelty in her smile as she said it was what had done it. But he was about to feel a little worse as she snatched up Riyo to leave. Jumping to his feet, he was rather torn on what he should do exactly. He had no authority to really stop this, but Anne taking Riyo just really bothered him.

"You can't let her just walk off like that. She's going to kill her," he hissed towards Hakim, hoping that the headmaster might be able to do something.

Frowning at Anne, Hakim looked back at Blade with a quirked brow. He hadn't known the boy to have any friends so he wondered why he seemed to have strong feelings over this. The statement on killing... he thought was an exaggeration.

"Unfortunately, there isn't much we could do at this point," he said before nodding to the other parents that had decided to take their leave.

"Of course you can't," the thief said lowly before quickly making an exit. He still didn't know what to do.. but maybe he could come up with something. It was best to at least keep the two in his sights in case something did come to mind.

"Mr. Faryn. Wait," ordered Hakim, but it was too late. Rubbing his head again, he was going to have to have a talk with the young thief later. But the boy never did well dealing with authority.

Kaitou watched the whole ordeal with mild interest. Oh conflict was such a nice thing to see. Anne seemed to be quite the character as well. But it was now over and it was time to take his leave.

"Do what you will to Shun," he told the staff present. He still was going to have to deal with the boy on his own later on.

Shooting a glare up towards his father, his gaze went back towards Mitsu, frowning. The abense of her roommate would not do her well...
