Seriously, what the hell was the point of "firing" Cena if he's going to be on every show afterwards and then be rehired! stressed There was no reason for this storyline ever to happen in the first place!!!! scream
Can someone please explain this to me in some way.

This whole thing made me kinda angry. First he was in Nexus for only a few weeks, then fired for like 3 weeks, then re-hired. They totally screwed it up

Thing is, that whole storyline could go many ways, but these ways are all very limited. The whole "you will do as I say" would've been annoying as s**t after a while, so they decided to "fire" him. But that part could only go to a certain point too as focusing on destroying them is not exactly the thing you can drag for months, unless the man who's attacking them isn't revealed and that it takes place long after they pulled him out for a while. But that would've been, in my opinion, the way of doing so. Because like that, Cena would've get some rest and he wouldn't have been shoved down our throat for a little while.
Plus, having Cena "fired" was the smartest marketing plan ever. Do you just realize how many of Cena's gear they sold to the marks, just so these said marks have something from Cena "while he was in WWE"? It was a very short amount of time, but without a doubt a good gamble from a marketing point of view.

I thought it was just a pointless swerve to surprise the smarks when Cena joined Nexus. The whole angle was blown from the start. But at least it got Wade Barrett and Nexus some more heat so it wasn't totally wasted time. Remember the reaction Wade got after Survivor Series? Could hardly get a word in for ages thanks to the jeers.

Could hardly get a word in for ages thanks to the jeers. Well blown... It just went in too many limited directions at once, and what's what made the whole thing simply boring, even if it was a great idea to have Cena in Nexus. What I would've love is if Barrett was to turn face and get kicked out of Nexus once Cena turned heel and became the leader of Nexus, or more specifically, a mentor in the likes of Orton for Legacy. Instead of having them making impacts left and right, have them run at specific goals and such. That's what I call an unexpected direction. Well, more of semi-unexpected because we all wanted Cena to go heel, but to add a Barrett face turn in the mix could've been the new wind in their feud. To see how Barrett can get allies out of those he attacked with Nexus under his command, that's the kind of psychological and well thought concepts I want to see more often in the WWE, or in wrestling in general.

Dude, you type too much Well like that I'm sure no one will complain that I'm not clear enough! It happened one too many times in the past that people would just post a simple sentence, and this would cause flame wars because it was misunderstood. So if they would've explain their idea correctly and put a lot of words to it, people who don't mind reading whole paragraphs would be not only pleased, but they would also stay calm as they won't start trolling and say bad things to one another for nothing. So the fact that I type a lot is actually a good action for this guild's sanity. Like that I'm sure I'm not going to get flamed for misunderstanding and my point is clear. Plus, lots of times, I have a lot to say, so instead of just popping in with a bit of comment every now and then, I prefer to put it all in the same post, which also contributes to bring points and debates to the topic. GOT IT? xd
