P e r s o n a l i t y:
    Jace grew up with the mentality that the Jedi were the heroes of the galaxy, removing evil with a vengeance and creating a better place to live for all. He takes his training and Jedi lifestyle seriously even if there are a few parts he dislikes about it. He is intensely focused on constant self-improvement; it would be rare to find him just laying around. Jace hates sleep and the feeling of being drowsy so he tends to act motivated about what's taking place to stay alert. As a Padawan, he was a major perfectionist, always retrying challenges and competing to be the best, sometimes just for bragging rights.

    Though the Jedi teach otherwise, Jace still holds much pride in himself, pride of being an over-achiever and challenging himself. He will be the first person to defend his friends and the last to back down in a fight. Aggressive and relentless in a duel, Jace believes he can challenge anyone to a saber duel and win. He is young and new to the galaxy still and will gladly listen to any advice from his superiors. He is naive about many political beliefs, questioning why everyone couldn't be more like himself-- bettering themselves daily and being respectful of everything.

    ● Duel-Master - Jace has his own style of combat, mixing in many elements from different fighting styles and force powers. He uses the force to place himself in advantageous positions in battle, or put his opponent in a bad spot. His techniques involve a flurry of motion and attacks, seeking out a weak point in the opponent's defenses and exploiting it, while his defensive measures involve blocking multiple opponents. He has learned how to deactivate his saber blade before it touches him and reactivate it to block an attack (Saberstaff only).
    ● Fighter Pilot - Jace has trained in a spaceflight combat simulator and, being the perfectionist he is, left with the highest marks for flying than anyone else. However, he has yet to experience actual combat. His knowledge of fighter craft allow him to use multiple types of spacecraft.
    ● Marksman - While most Jedi are appalled by the use of blaster weapons, Jace has trained with blaster rifles to use in dire situations, or to attack an out-of-reach target. Blaster pistols or heavy weaponry is better left to the experts, however.
    ● Gadget Geek - Jace loves building small gadgets that he thinks could aid him in battle. He can build a variety of small gadgets, which he normally carries on him, and allows him to make repairs on small equipment. This allows him to make modifications or build lightsabers and gives him the basic knowledge of how to hot-wire simple security panels or fighter craft.

S a b e r - F o r m:
    ● Single - When dueling with his lightsaber, Makashi (Form 2) is used and movements similar to fencing are used. Force powers are used with his lightsaber techniques to overpower or disorient his opponent.
    ● Double - When fighting with his saberstaff, Soresu and Ataru are used in combination. Soresu dominates most of the techniques and movements when under blaster fire or being attacked by multiple opponents. Ataru is used when the chance to attack presents itself and is mixed with force powers to present an unrelenting assault.

    Jace was born on Dantooine to a middle-class family who owned an estate farm near the Jedi enclave. His parents provided him with a basic education and taught gave him moral guidelines. His mother was a former Jedi and his father was a Republican soldier. At the young age of six the two parents brought their child into the Jedi enclave to see if he had the potential to be a Jedi, they found Jace to be force-sensitive. A week later he entered training at the Jedi enclave with the full support of his parents.

    As an initiate to the Jedi, Jace was a promising student and showed great potential, taking in the customs and culture of the Jedi with enthusiasm. But his greatest hindrance was that he was a very aggressive learner, using Force Comprehension to absorb knowledge rapidly. Seeking constant self-improvement, he was almost always studying, dueling or doing physical drills, which left him little time for friends. An Echani family, who moved there from off-planet, were family friends of the Rex family. The daughter of the family was the same age as Jace and while not Force-sensitive she would duel with him to help his dueling skill.

    During his Padawan training Jace rarely left the planet Dantooine. This was because his Master did not believe he was ready for the Galaxy yet. On their first real mission Jace's Master was killed, though the target criminal they were after was apprehended. This tragedy pushed Jace back in his Padawan training and his new Master was paranoid and didn't believe Jace was ready to become a Jedi Knight. After another two years, Jace passed all of his tests flawlessly, though the Jedi Masters were very skeptical of him because of his attitude.

    Jace became a full-fledged Jedi Knight Guardian after some debate and eagerly applied for the first mission he could to leave Dantooine. The Echani family gave Jace an old family heirloom upon graduation, a custom hand-crafted saberstaff. Jace promised to return one day with something just as valuable. New to the Galaxy, Jace seeks to learn everything about it and still takes advice from his superiors as divine law. After several months, the Jedi Masters found a mission they were confident would make or break Jace and sent him on it.
