Here are some pictures that may produce a wake-up call to the public about the oil spill:
Do you see all of the black stuff? Yea, the stuff that's on our beaches. That's oil from the Gulf Spill of 2010. Yuck...
Oh my! This bird was not originally black in color! That poor baby is literally drenched in oil, probably breathing it in and soaking it up into its body. If he isn't washed off soon he may die!
I don't even know how to caption this. The brown stuff is all oil and there appears to be...a fire underwater? This is terrible to think about. How many ocean critters will die from this explosion? How many new and terrible superbacteria will rupture from the extensive heat coming from the fire?
Scary...
