Name: T'gan.
Age: 46.
Gender: Male.
Sexuality: Heterosexual, but come on. Really.
At what age did they Impress? 18.
Rank: Weyrlingmaster.

History: Ever since his birth, T'gan always followed every rule and did what was expected of him. His parents were two particularly drab farmers, and, while he had every opportunity to go off and do something stupid-slash-reckless, he never did. Teagan, as he was named back then, has always been a wet blanket and a stickler. Even when he Impressed Agamemneth when he was 18, nothing really changed--sure, the Bronze lightened him up a little, but that was about it. Well, aside from the fact that Aggy definitely taught him to control his temper. Before this, he had gotten into seven fights through various means, and had managed to win a good deal of them. His eighth and final fight came after Agamemneth Chased one of the Golds and was injured by another Bronze--the injury that just so happened to give the gargantuan dragon a permanent limp. Furious, T'gan fought the other rider--and lost. After this, he was essentially forced to bottle his temper, in addition to making a pact with Agamemneth along the same line, and, after a few more Turns, decided to try his hand at being a Weyrlingmaster. Despite his less-than-pleasant temper, he actually doesn't do too bad at teaching Weyrlings, but you can rest assured they won't have fun with it.

Appearance: Tall with medium-length grayish-brown hair that's always swept back away from his face, T'gan is a decent bit intimidating. His eyes are blue and he's got his fair share of scars from various scrapes and tumbles, and his features are sharp and aquiline. He is always always always glaring or scowling, and he has rather prominent lines on his face from the constant expression. He only wears tough, spartan clothing that is by no means stylish, usually just plain brown or whatever color the material is undyed. T'gan is all for simplicity in his wardrobe, but this is also an excuse for him being totally fashion-blind.
Personality: Mean as a snake and stricter than the harshest taskmaster, T'gan is definitely not the Weyrlingmaster you want to get if you want to have fun while learning. He's easily frustrated, but knows better than to go and let it out on a Weyrling--instead, he has himself a small leather ball filled with sand that he quite unmercifully crushes whenever a Weyrling is getting on his nerves. T'gan will make sure that you follow each and every rule applicable, no exceptions--if he sees you crossing a line, you will most certainly be yelled at.

T'gan can be almost horribly loud when needed, something that he uses to his advantage during lessons. He doesn't seem to know the meaning of the word 'fun' and is always a wet blanket; whenever he comes around, he kills whatever fun is going on. T'gan uses worst-case scenarios coupled with 'and I'm not going to help you when that happens' to effectively strangle any happiness that might be coming out of something, and will do so utterly shamelessly. He doesn't care if you're happy--he cares if you're doing what you're supposed to be doing, and doing it well. Needless to say, he's not particularly popular, what with his constant ornery attitude and eternal grumpface.

On the positive side, if you've managed to get into his good graces, T'gan will have your back at every turn. He rarely gives compliments, but when he does, they're genuine and only rarely chased with criticism. He's rather free with picking at what you're doing wrong, but when you're doing it right, he will let you know right off the bat.
