OOC- There are two eggs available here. This game will be run very similarly to flights with a small twist. ^_^ Rules: 1- You must have signed up in the sign-up thread to play. 2- Do not delete your posts! 3- You may not enter this game if you have already won/received a flit from this clutch. 4- The egg you receive is randomly chosen. You will get the egg that you’re roll matches. 5- Roll the appropriate dice. Edit your post to include an rp and code when you find the nest/pick an egg. 6- Following the posting order after everyone has posted once will help make everything run smoothly. Part One- You are looking for the nest, but will you find it? Roll a 1d20 and match 5 to find it. Part Two- Hurray! you found the nest! Now all you have to do is get past mom and dad to pick your egg. Each egg has its own number, and which one you get is determined by which number you roll. Roll a 1d8! Egg1- 5 Egg2- 2 Code: I found the nest!

It was a warm winter day, and the rumors were flying fast! A firelizard clutch was hatching somewhere around or in Melvren. Freed from your chores, you are determined to find this clutch and claim one for yourself. But where do you start looking?

Having finished her chores for the day Morgaine set out to look for this firelizard clutch that was rumored to be hatching. She wasn't happy about searching all around as that would expose her to all sorts of potential diseases but at the same time she refused to not let this opportunity slip her by. So she set off to start her search near in the kitchen, careful not to touch anything that looked dirty or unsanitary.

The day had began much like any other however there was news in the Weyr that were was a clutch of firelizard eggs somewhere to be found. She had Mesmer but raising an egg would be exciting and something that she had always wanted to do, maybe if she raised an egg the next time she stood to Impress she would stand out more to a dragonet. With that in mind the pixie like woman threw on one of her light winter robes and began to look around the Weyr before she began her search outside. Today was going to be an exciting day.
((Never done this before, I really hope I am doing it right, if not let me know!))

Well the kitchen had proved to be a waste of time, the dirty little eggs weren't there. Sighing Morgaine left the kitchen and headed to the store room, perhaps she would find the clutch there, tucked behind something or up on a shelf. As long as she didn't have to touch or move too many things then she was willing to have a look there.

Ashmere moved with her brisk quick movements as headed down into the storage rooms of kitchens. There were dried fruits and old cooking pots and drying meats, it was a cozy place and certainly worth searching. Peering into a large pot and around the shelves, giving the room a detailed look through.

Well they weren't in the store room either. This was not turning out as well as she had planned, each new place she would need to look in order to find the clutch would only expose her to more bacteria. Note to self, wash hands thoroughly when this is all over. She left the store rooms and headed to the dining area, in search for the little beasts.

"Ooooh shells and greens!" Ashmere snapped her fingers with a bit of a gruffness in her voice. "Oh well."
Stepping out of the room the little harper snagged a few fruits and a bit of dried fish for herself before she did, just incase the little flitter hatched when she found it, at least she would have lined pockets full of goods. After all she was a harper and had been one of the first to hear the rumors.
Moving at her quick pace Ashmere wondered where to head next. Snapping her fingers she walked she headed over to the bath chambers, it would be a nice little place for a nest, kind of sort of.

Once again she had looked in a place that proved to be unfruitful. Great, Morgaine thought to herself as she left the dinning hall, I have to go to yet another germ ridden place to look for the clutch. She wasn't sure how much more exposure to the unknown she could take, but once she was done she could return to the safety of her room and clean herself and everything around her. Perhaps they are outside, and she slipped through the door stepping into the sun, and on the plus side, fresh air would do her some good right about now.

Ashmere rolled her eyes as she exited the bath chambers, she had taken the time to soak her hands and face before she headed out. She paused and thought about where to go, headed towards the drummer's reach of the Weyr it would be nice and dry there and some empty drum cases would make a very lovely nest. Maybe.

So the nest wasn't outside either, that meant going back inside. Back where there was less fresh air to filter all of the bacteria and diseases floating about in the air. Perhaps they would be in the bath chambers, probably not she told herself negatively but at the very minimum she could wash her hands before continuing the search.

Well that certainly proved the wrong choice, headed back down the stairs Ashmere stuffled quickly into one of the harper rooms, a nice little room that was useful for making repairs to woodwinds, and making other instruments.
Looking around through the various spaces the little harper was deterned to find the little nest and claim at least one new flit for her own.

After a quick look around the bath chamber Morgaine paused her search to wash her hands, very thoroughly, before heading off to search another place. Blast where could those eggs be! Well there was one place she was quite familiar with that she had yet to search, so Morgaine headed to the records room. Who knows maybe the clutch would be tucked away amongs the musty old hides.

That wasn't right either, shaking her head slightly Ashmere pulled some of the dry fish from her pocket and chewed on it, she was hungry and getting irritated. Headed down outside to the courtyard she stopped and decided to take a look near the area were they emtpy soot from the hearths.

Failure once again, go figure, but being surrounded by all these hides calmed her down a bit. Soon she would return to them and continue her never ending research. But for now she would continue to look for those eggs, unless those rumors had been just a clever ruse to get her looking all over the place for nothing at all. Giving her head a shake she headed to the common room, maybe they would be there.
