Ikoi walked down the streets of the rukon district his head down incase someone were to recognize him, Ikoi rounded a corner and came to a dead end but it was what he had wanted, Ikoi had lost all of his squad members in a terrible battle and now he had to decide to keep going or to flee the soul society and live in shame of the fact he could not protect them, Ikoi let a tear roll down his cheeks before getting up and walking through the district to find an abandoned house he could call his own, he had left a not on his desk of the barracks that stated as the last living member of squad 2 he would leave the squad to the next captain but keep an eye on things from afar, Ikoi eventually found a house like wanted in the mountains of the east rukon district, where he had run away to get stronger when he was young to save his sister, he sat on his new bed with his zanpakto Hikoumari in his lap to medditate but memories of that day had been preventing him from communing with his zanpakto so he simply let his zanpakto clatter to the ground as he laid his head on the pillow and closed his eyes hoping for sleep to come and take out of the hell hole called reality.

Riku was wondering around in the rukon district because he was bored. He the sensed a familiar spiritual pressure and followed it , he got to mountain and started to climb up it with curiosity and he wondered to himself Where is this heading this better be good..... he continued until he reached a house and the pressure became stronger he knocked the door hoping for an answer.

Ikoi heard the knocking on the door but instead of answering he sheathed his zanpakto and flashstepped further up the mountain Ikoi knew where he was for this very mountain was where he came to train so many years ago after his sister was abducted, Ikoi stopped at a tree he had marked back then to remember it was hollow and a good place to hide or take shelter from the rain, he entered the tree suprised to find fruit he had preserved so many years ago still in its jars, he took one donw he had marked with an A and took an apple from inside to replenish the energy he had expent from walking through the entirety of the soul society with nothing to his name exept the cloak on his back and the memories of his old life before he became a soul reaper.

Riku did not get a response so he kept moving but this time the spiritual pressure was more distant , he kept moving up he stop for a moment and thought again I swear I thought I just saw something.... he looked around but did not see anything he sensed the same presence again , he looked and noticed a tree he walked towards it and noticed a person with green hair and sword he looked at him and flashstepped toward him and tapped his back Hey there......

Ikoi smiled as he felt the touch on his shoulder before saying "I never could hide from you brother" Ikoi knew it was Riku from the familiar spiritual pressure so Ikoi didnt have to see his face to know who it was. Ikoi asked "I thought Alvaak had you out on an important mission in the world of the living" Ikoi then got up to face his brother leaving the preserved food in place incase one day he had real need of it, Ikoi thought back to the note he had left on his desk about leaving but what could he do there were no other members of squad 2 but himself and without a squad there is no captain.

Riku smiled and noticed that Ikoi did not seem to be his normal self as he usually is , he then said I am leaving Squad 11 , so I am a free agent but anyway enough about me, something got you down...... He asked in a worried tone.

Ikoi stared at the trees behind Riku not wanting to look in his eyes before saying "most of my squad died on the last mission because I wasnt strong enough to protect them and I need some time to..." but before Ikoi could finish a hell butterfly landed on his shoulder and came out with a message that was so unexpected Ikoi nearly lost his balance it had said in the Head Captain's authorized voice "as of this second Ikoi Hanakari, Captain of Squad 2 has just been promoted to take my spot as head captain and is ordered back to his squad barracks imeadietly for a his swearing in ceremony" Ikoi almost fell over but instead of just standing there with his jaw gaping Ikoi drew his zanpakto and yelled "Bankai Hikoumari Teiktsu Tsubasa" his zanpakto changed into a lance and to wings of ice sprouted from his back as he jumped in the air ready to fly as fast as he could back to the squad 2 barracks but before he beat his wings to launch himself forward he said to Riku "catch me if you can" and with that he took off leaving a huge cloud of dust behind himself, Ikoi knew what he had said to Riku was childish but the feeling of joy over came all emotions as he rushed as fast as could back to the sereitai to accept this huge honor as well as responsibility.

Riku grinned and thought Well that did not last long...... Riku unseathed his zanpakuto and it was already in shikai he swung his dual zanpaktos and said Sonic Wave a current of red wind appeared below him and it sped through the ripping sound barriers , Riku started to ride Ikoi jet stream and he said Tag!

Silently Cre passed both of his good friends, tagging them both as he did. He was the Captain of Squad 12 and one of the only Vizards allowed inside the Seireitei.

Ikoi grinned as he heard Riku say tag and saw him shoot by, Ikoi yelled "remember brother you are not the only one who controls wind" Ikoi began twirling his lance of of a zanpakto in a circle and from the center of the spirals erupted a green tornado the same color as Ikoi's hair and not only shot Ikoi forward but messed with air currents causing his brother to fight the wind in order to stay air borne or move forward Ikoi said "tag" as he passed both his brother and Cre going even faster with every flap of his wings but to be safe Ikoi let the first 4 inches of the tips melt and turn to water if the water touched Riku, Ikoi could refreeze it and slow his brother or his friend down even more, Ikoi wasnt above cheating in a little game of tag but just before he crossed into the seriatei Ikoi hit the spiritual pressure repelling force field that surrounded the air above the serietei and causing his wings to crumble and his sword to change back to normal, but as he began to descend he flashsteped forwards so as he fell he would actual still be getting closer to his barracks and try to keep his lead on Riku and Cre.
