Name: Brett Fairchild

Nickname:It's already 1 syllable, does it really need to be shorter?.

Age: 22

Birthday: May 30th

Sign: Gemini

Gemstone: Emerald

Blood Type: A

Fav. Food: Pop rocks, anything unexpected

Hated Food: bland food, tofu

School: N/A

Hobbies:

A bit Theatrical: Brett works for a few local theatre companies, behind the scenes, never on stage. Most times he's just doing props and set design, but he also is the 'go to guy' for stage fight training. Having no formal training, only going off the actors and his own practice from fencing courses and classes with the local arms museum is more than enough to get the job done. It's rumored he was in a production...once....but forgot his lines and froze for 6 minutes before they finally dropped the curtain and got him out of there.

Spiritualist: After spending most of his life under the religious cloak of Christianity Brett began a 'soul search' of sorts. In his time he's practiced MANY religions, adapting various odd rituals into his daily being and creating his own personal way of worship, if you'd call it that. It's loosely based off Pagan/Cherokee Indian/Satanic beliefs. He tends to an alter every morning and is sure to make some form of offering within the day for the pasts guidance.

Fantasy Artist: His art is what keeps a roof over his head. Brett's online art account make him a cool $25,000 a year, while he only has to do 2 well done paintings a week. Most of his inspiration stems from his personal religion, though he loves dragonlore, elves, and the darker (real)vampire imagery from time to time. It keeps him calm and level between shows.

Virtues:

Multi-Tasker: After years of managing multiple art projects, school, and theatre in his evenings, Brett has learned how to operate doing many things at once. He's no superman by any means, but he can do 3 commissions, and 2-3 shows in the same month without breaking a sweat.

Driven: Once he gets started, Brett makes sure he finishes his job. Not only because he won't get paid, but because he knows it's a must(and will make him look better the next time they need something). Sometimes his own determination is all that keeps him up(once the coffee isn't effective)

Quick Thinker: If it hadn't been for some smooth thinking he wouldn't have been so successful in life. Sure, a hard working multitasker can get a lot, but if the supports crumble 2 hours before opening night or if your cat accidentally knocks white out over a painting you've spent a harsh 27 hours working on as is it takes a fast moving maniac to get the job done. The crazier the challenge, the more exhilarating.

Flaws:

Over-Analyst: If it's not perfect, it's not done. Don't you see that hair? Now Brett is going to have to gouge that out, apply a patch of canvas, and re-paint for at least a half hour just to get it looking decent. Brett's own desire for perfect has been tested as a director a few times, but every time the actors seem to revolt and his stage manager has to take the reins.(which is why he sticks mostly to set design, as he can be detail oriented as possible without having the stress of those pesky actors on his back)

Anger Management issues: When things finally do make Brett snap he goes BERSERK. Physical violence on any nearby object WILL happen and it takes sometime for him to cool down. Most times it's from being overworked(/underpaid for a project)/overbooking himself/relationship problems/digital art theft but there have been other reasons through the years.

I'm sorry, did you say something?: Due to his very busy schedule, oftentimes he overlooks what others say/ask of him unless they write it down or catch him when he doesn't have a pen(cil) in his hand. He doesn't usually notice that he's driven people away either until they've ignored him for days, in which case he's not even sure what he's done(making forgiveness hard to achieve =( ). He's not completely void of others around him, but if he's working on a project anything you say will most likely go through 1 ear and out the other.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Eyes: cobalt blue

Hair: black with golden blond tips.

Face: severe

Clothes: multilayered shirts(at least one long-sleeved one beneath some t-shirt, something he throws on an opened button-down on top of them), well worn jeans, converse tennis shoes.

Hiyas Ariadelle,

Here's a few things that came to mind when reading through Brett's profile.

Out of curiousity how long has Brett been arting for, I'm assuming that he must either be very talented or have started arting from quite young (or a mixture of both). I'm curious because it sounds like Brett's art is his main salary-earner and for him to get $25,000/ on the online art shop on 2 paintings a week, then I'm thinking that he'd have to charge at least around $240 minimum per painting.

What happens if he goes through a dry spell selling paintings, does he have an alternative means of bringing in money?

I'm not sure how the overanalyst flaw works with the multitasking virtue - they kind of conflict to my way of thinking. Or I guess my problem is how he's managing to juggle so many things in a month without breaking a sweat, while at the same being a perfectionist.

The quick-thinking virtue also contradicts the last sentence in his theatrical hobby - if he's quick thinking, I kind of would have pictured him inprovising instead of freezing.

I think the start is there, I'm getting the notion of someone very creative, who has more than one project on the go.

Hope that helps some
