"So much for any action."
Sighing to himself, one gloved hand moved up to brush away light colored bangs. A single leg began to swing back and forth from high atop a branch, the young man having found a seat among one of the many trees in Destiny City's park.
It had been days since his run-in with Castor and yet his mind had yet to make itself up over what to do with his...well, situation. He wasn't like these sailor senshi or these Negawhatsit. He didn't choose to be on a side, he didn't have a choice in the matter in the first place!
He'd been on his way home from a date when passing through the Park - which only reminded him of his earlier run-in. The newspapers had said the Park was growing more dangerous with every spotted encounter of the two gangs, but aside from Castor, Akio had yet to see anything. There had been hope in spotting yet another magical person, but that hope was quickly diminishing as the night grew older.
Tossing his other leg over the branch, the teenager pushed himself off and went sailing towards the ground. He landed gracefully - more gracefully than any average teenager would have landed - and began to head towards the Park's exit.
Ah well, another night, then!

That power signature had been nagging the back of Captain Uranophane's mind the moment she passed by the park.
Normally, she skipped over Destiny City's parks when she went on her patrols, unless there were some particularly uncoordinated Lieutenants around for her to bark at. The reason was simple: parks were already pretty damn well covered. She would swear on her life that if she took the time to tally up the numbers based on the reports she passed through to the Generals, just about half of all Senshi-Negaverse encounters happened at a park. Parks, parks, parks. It was a better use of her time to try and position herself and other troops somewhere that wasn't already so saturated with officers.
However, there were always exceptions to the rule, and one was found today with that odd little spot showing up on her mental radar, not too far away. It wasn't one of their own, for certain... but it wasn't a senshi either. Hell, it wasn't even a cat. This was definitely something new -- and Uranophane was determined to find out what that was, so she could report the details to the Queen before it could potentially turn out to be a problem.
It took a few hours of blind searching and waiting for something to catch her eye, but then the noise of something landing on the grass caught her attention, and she turned around: Bingo. Blonde-headed teen in a weird costume that didn't match anything she'd ever seen. That was definitely it. As quickly and carefully as she could, she stalked after him to the park's exit, waiting to see if he'd perform any weird magic tricks before confronting him directly.

Unfortunately for Akio, he was an expert in being a superstar, not a super hero or a super villain. So as he made his way to the gated exit, he remained blissfully oblivious to the fact that he was being trailed, regardless of how quiet the Captain behind him was.
Once at the gate, he paused for a brief moment to stare at the brush beside the rod-iron. Icy blue eyes stared at the foliage and then, gingerly, one hand moved out to gently take hold of a leaf.
He blinked for a moment, as if puzzled at his own action and then a slow smile crept across his face. The leaf in his finger had begun to turn - the edges were freezing over, the green surface soon encased in ice. The ice moved down from the leaf onto its attached branch and soon, half of the bush was covered in ice. Thankfully with it being December, a frozen bush wasn't terribly out of place, but Akio seemed pretty proud of his trick.
In truth, he probably was.
