I'd think that it would be ok if it were an Alien (the 70s classic to the little kids who cant get their heads out of bolling for soup and eminem) style movie if it was going to have actual actors. I see a lot of potential for this to be a great movie since its for the big screen, but at the same tome it could totally suck and ruin the series, kinda how i don't like house of the dead and resident evil cause I just remember "wow, it opened its eyes and swished its hair while it was in a room filled with water. Bungie should just stick with their animation since its alr4eady pretty decent, same with the actors. I'm just imagining Hillary Duff or Linday Lohan as the voice of Cortana and them blaming their abusive childhood for when they totally screw up the movie. Ok... its a little late to reply to this, and I wish I would have sooner, back when I knew where the information was.
But a while ago when I looked up something about the Halo movie on imbd.com (the place I always go to look up movies and such), and it said that Ridley Scott, who directed the original Alien (which was the good one, the other ones extremely sucked), he also directed The Thing, Gladiator, GI Jane, Matchstick Men (what I thought was some of his most different and best work) and that one upcoming ancient epic type movie with Orlando Bloom and Liam Nissan.
Anyways they said that Ridley Scott was a possible director for the Halo movie, which I think would kick a**. We already know he can do Alien movies good, he could make it scary as s**t in the parts with the flood (those parts would probably be more like the thing), he's good with comedy and dialogue, and plot twist (Matchstick Men) and from what I've seen from the trailers of his upcoming movie, he can do action pretty good too.
And while trying to find that page again, I stumbled across the information that Uwe Boll, will be directing a Far Cry Movie, scheduled for 2006, a Hunter: The Reckoning movie, 2006, and a Bloodrayne Movie, 2005.
Other wonderful (sarcasm) movies he did were Alone in The Dark and House of The Dead. At least he's not ruining any great classic games...
Oh man! A Space Invaders Movie! Or Pong! Maybe even the epic... Pitfall...
