mrgreen I love art, I always had, I always will. I've been drawing since I could pick up a pencil, and my oldest sister jokes that when I came home from the hospital, she put a pencil in my hand and I started drawing right then and there.
Please comment on my work, constructive criticism is always apreciated, but please make it constructive. I'm always looking for ways to improve but saying 'You junk sucks!' doesn't help anything.
If you comment on my stuff I will comment on your stuff, whether it's writing or something else. If you don't want me to comment, just say so.
And enjoy the pictures!

the water is cool.. simple.. but as it goes farther into the horizon, it looks more lines instead of ripples.
i like the tranparency though the lines of the person is a little on the heavy side.

Thank you for the comment! I don't know that I can do much about the part closer to the horizon looking like lines, but I'll try. It's been a while since I drew that pic.

A pic I drew on my way home from visiting my family. It's the first time I've done a good braid.

That is really beautiful. I could never seem to do well with watercolours myself, despite having a set of them lying around somewhere around here. (Someone bought me some for christmas)
I really admire your tree.

Thank you! The tree was actually the last thing that I added. The teacher said, "Draw and paint a landscape" then after the fact, "And a tree." ... >.> oooo kaayy... I really enjoyed that class, I learned a lot, and got a lot of cool paintings out of it, and the teacher was fun to boot. I'll be adding some more of my watercolor stuff soon as I get it on my computer.
Cedrych, you said you don't do watercolor, do you do other paints? Oil? Acrylic?

A pic I drew on Christmas and finnished it the day after. It's the most detail I've done in a picture in a long time, background and all. If you can't guess who it is... I may have to do something drastic.

Wow... love the detail in the cobblestoney ground, and the gradients in the wood! the horse looks so sleeeepy.
Mary loooks just so gosh darn adorable! I was tempted to play dumb and ask who it was... but.... decided I didn't want to see what sort of drastic measures you'd resort to.
----
And as for painting, watercolour is the paint I've attempted the most at. I've done a little with acryllics as well, I have some weird picture in my room. Maybe sometime I should take a picture of it, since it is too big for a scanner.
I don't paint as often as I'd like, but I've never really hadthe chance to learn without being afraid of wasting expensive supplies. I'm the sort who won't experiment unless there is little to no cost on my part. Which isn't very productive.
