Official RP Class Lexicon

We will be using a mix of the FE7, FE8, and FE razz oR Class lists. There are three tiers, Trainee, Apprentice or First tier units, and Master or second tiers units. You may choose any class from the first tier unit list, or if you are one of those RP'ers that likes to start out with a really weak character, you pick a Trainee class. Notice that Soldiers are a playable class in my RP, Nomads are also a playable class, even though they were omitted from FE8. I try to remain as faithful as possible to the games, but anomalies are unavoidable. For instance, Nomads now have the choice to turn into Rangers, or a new class called Jaeger. Many classes have been omitted. If you have any complaints, please feel free to PM or IM me with your argument and I will see if we can come to a compromise.

Trainee Tier Classes

Swordsman
Description: A title given to aspiring youths that have some skill with a sword, the only requirement to become a swordsman is to be able to use a real, metal sword on the battlefield, sometimes more a test of guts than skill. They are weak but they do have some combat abilities, and they gain experience quickly.

Up-grade Method: Automatic, Level 10
Recruit
Description: A title given to fresh rookies that fight with a spear. It is typical for recruits to be sent to a basic training program in order to become a Soldier, Cavalier, or Knight. The only requirement to become a recruit is to be able to use a real metal lance in combat.

Upgrades to: Cavalier, Soldier, Knight
Up-grade Method: Automatic, Level 10
Journeyman
Description: Young fighters from the woods, usually experienced in cutting wood with an axe. They have had no formal training, but they can fight if need be, unlike civilians.

Up-grade Method: Automatic, Level 10
Hunter
Description: Your average forest dweller with a bow, they must hunt for their food in order to survive. Being able to shoot a bow correctly is required, but not formal training.

Up-grade Method: Automatic, Level 10
Pupil
Description: An awakened youth that specializes in Anima magic. They are clumsy and they don't know how to execute chants and hand signs correctly. They are required to be literate at least.

Up-grade Method: Automatic, Level 10
Medium
Description: A young fortune teller from a village that has learned dark magic from another, stronger witch doctor. They are also required to be literate and they must be able to attack on the battlefield. They are stronger but slower than pupils.

Acolyte
Description: A young religious person that has not become a monk. They must know how to attack with light magic in, usually it is self taught and clumsy. They learn fast though and usually poses a greater power than both Pupils and Mediums, considering light magic tomes are weak.

Medic
Description: Armature healers, they wield sacred staves to heal allies. It usually takes a prodigy to learn how to use a staff at such a young age, and Medics are generally a rare occurrence.

Pickpocket
Description: A common thief that steals food to survive. They should have some combat skills but it is not required, the only requirement is being able to steal things.

Midshipmen
Description: Young soldiers in service to the Kingdoms or Bern or Ilia, they fight with standard issue Dirks. They are also trained in navigation and spherical trigonometry. One day they aspire to hold a lance in their hand an fly through the skies on a winged beast: a Pegasus if they are from Ilia or a Wyvern if they are from Bern.

Mercenary
Description: Professional soldiers-for-hire. Well balanced, with superior skills all around. They fight using swords and or knives, with good offensive capabilities but lacking those in the area defense.

Myrmidon
Description: Swordsmen from the eastern lands. Specialized in swift killing strokes. They are skilled and quick, but they are not too strong and they cannot defend themselves too well.

Description:
