With a final blow from his massive paw, Ishekhesi flattened the leopard he was fighting. He was pretty surprised the smaller cat had held out as long as he had . . . but now Ishekhesi had taught the punk a lesson. The leopard wouldn't be boasting about his epic strength NOW, would he?
He snarled at the cub that had been walking with the leopard when it started crying.
"Quit your mewling, kid, it's annoying." Which didn't help the cub stop crying at all. Ishekhesi couldn't stand cubs crying.
"Pfft."
He headed uphill, into the scrub. Maybe he'd find someplace shady to take a nap now that he had worked off some excess energy.
