Name: Randy Conrad
Nickname: Conrad
Age: 19
Birthday: April 13
Sign: Aries
Gemstone: Diamond
Blood Type: A+
Fav. Food: Tuna-potato chip casserole
Hated Food: Strawberries. So grody, man!
School: Sovereign Heights Prep School
Hobbies:
Loitering – Conrad is pretty big on hanging out in front of shops, hassling the people coming in and out in various ways. Sometimes he hoops for a bit of spare change, other times he’s more content to just lean against the nearest available wall, looking boss for all the fly little ladies who happen to pass by. Most of the time, it’s a fairly harmless endeavor, but every now and again he’ll get a little too worked up and end up getting himself chased off by the shop employees or even the cops. Not one who likes the heat much, he tends to keep things chill as much as possible. Only when he’s around his like-minded peers does he see fit to make an a** of himself.
Fixing the do – His hair is his pride and joy- it has to stay as perfect as possible. Nothing gets in the way of him messing with his pretty red locks, not even a hot chick or a smoking car. Always with a comb in his pocket, the tall boy is often seen making sure every curl is at just the right degree. God forbid he wake up with a bad hair day! He wouldn’t even go to school. It’s something of a calming endeavor for him. When he’s messing with his hair, he’s not getting into trouble. This extends beyond just fluffing the tassels, of course. He spends hours in salons and product shops, just getting all the best gel and shampoo for ultimate hair awesomeness.
Telephone Cramming – Nothing is more fun than happening upon a group of unsuspecting geeks near a telephone booth. When with his pals, Conrad just loves taking said geeks and shoving as many as possible into said telephone booth. Sure, most of the time telephone cramming is supposed to be a mutually agreed endeavor, but he likes to switch things up a bit and use it as a form of torture around the town against all those who happen to be just a little smaller or younger than him.
Virtues:
Charming – Conrad knows how to work a crowd and can make even a large group of people happy to have him around when need be. In a good mood, he can be a very happy, pleasing-to-be-around guy, even a little funny. He loves to get people to act a little childish, playing games often thought to be for kids much younger than him. People are often drawn to his charms, wanting to get to know him better despite hearing rumors of his less pleasing exploits. Like the rumors just had to be wrong. Works well with the ladies, too.
The hair helps.
Clean – Cleanliness is next to Godliness and Conrad adamantly agrees. He’s always making his best effort to ensure he’s a shaven, showered and freshly pressed individual. Yes, his hair is the most important feature as far as he is concerned, but that doesn’t mean he lets his other fair attributes go to waste. No, he keeps himself neat and tidy. Not just himself, either. His locker, his room, his little corner of the library- he just doesn’t like mess. He’ll even clean your house if you give him something for his trouble and he’ll enjoy doing it. The only thing he can't seem to manage is keeping his shoes tied.
Good With Animals – Fairly straight forward here: Conrad has a secret love of animals. He likes to look after them when he finds one abandoned, though he rarely keeps one as a pet. It’s too risky to, really! Should someone see him with a puppy or kitty, fawning over it like a mother to her child, they would find him totally square. So he loves from afar, helping them when he can and shipping them off to shelters or new homes where they can be properly loved. It’s hard for him when he visits a friend with a pet, as all he wants to do is cuddle it until it loves him back. When he was younger, he used to have a dog, but he moved away and never saw it again. Still, he assumes it had a long, happy life without him.
Flaws:
Immature – While one of his attributes, his childishness can also work to his detriment. There’s a point where his charming young spark can became something more juvenile and crude. He doesn’t like to look weak in front of his friends, and if that means bullying the local loser to the point where he gets the kid to cry, he’s going to do it. Sure, he might feel bad about it a little bit, but mostly he just enjoys the spotlight whenever he can get it.
Oblivious – Conrad has moments of sheer mental abstraction, blinding him to all common sense and getting into him more than just a simple pickle. A vat of pickles. A pickle factory. He’ll do or say something completely on the fly, not thinking for a moment that there might be ramifications later on. He won’t even realize he’s hurt someone’s feelings or done something stupid until someone points it out to him. That’s when the guilt tickles the bottom of his heart. Really, though, he’s happy to just sail through life with blinkers on, thinking nothing he does will come back to haunt even though he’s had it proven time and again that that’s simply not how things work in the real world. He is not the sharpest tool in the shed.
