exclaim This event is now over so no more SS plushies will be closed into soqs 1/31/11  Welcome to the CYO Plushie event where you can color your very own special soquili plushie created by Rapidashtrainer. biggrin On or around Christmas day a number of plushies will be transformed into real soquili, common and uncommons only, by the colorists below:

Everyone may color up to 10 plushies to give away to friends or to keep yourself. Each plushie is a ticket into the raffle for the soquili counterpart. Some plushies may even be picked as a choice by the soquili colorists! surprised

Please post tagged and colored plushies here to submit to the raffle thread. Number your plushies from 1 - 10 when submitting.
You can color up to 10 plushies for yourself or friends for the raffle. You can color more but may not use them in the raffle!
No mules! (less than 3 months or 1k posts)
You can only use the plushie template for this event. After the event is over you may not color any more!
If you can't color or want a plushie from someone else then use the hopefuls form below.
You must cert your plushies and deliver them yourself.
host your images on your own server like tinypic.com or photobucket.com
tagging your plushie is not necessary. You can use any text editor (even MS Paint) to add a "to:" and "from:" on your plushie image. The plushie must have a "to:" and "from:" somewhere to be eligible for the raffle.
Colorists can choose to color the soq however they wish, using the plushie as a loose reference.
NEW - Don't make plushies based on commercial cosplays. Plushies of existing Soqs (and previous plushies) cannot be entered. Some of these will be randomized to turn real soquili.
NEW - If you have a hard time coloring in a paint program then consider printing out the plushie .jpg and coloring it with pencils/crayons then scan/take a digital photo of it.

Here are all the files to make your plushie making a success! If you have questions then please ask in the thread. Once you are all finished, please tag your plushie and post it here in our raffle thread. Remember, only 10 plushies per person may be submitted in the raffle. Number your plushies!!

Can we edit accessories onto Plushies?
A: Yes! You can edit them to your heart's content, but be aware that edits on a Plushie rolled to grow Unedited will have those edits converted into markings or omitted.
Can we make the Plushie into a different breed?
Sure, go right ahead - again though be aware that making a plushie of a certain breed will not increase your chances of getting a rare breed. Similarly a regular plushie rolled for a rarer breed will be "upgraded".
Can we make Plushies of existing Soqs?
Only if you are the owner, or you are gifting the plushie to the owner of the Soq in question. They may not be entered in the Christmas Raffle. (they already exist!)
Can we enter existing Plushies?
Nope. All plushies have to be made for this event to be entered in the raffle.
Who wins the Soq if its Plushie is rolled?
The giftee (person who owns the plushie).
Can we make Plushies for ourselves?
That's not really in the Christmas spirit... but if you want to make and enter ONE for yourself, go for it.
No Commercial Cosplays... How about commercially themed OC's?
OC's based on some series are okay, so long as they cannot be mistaken for an official character. Ex: a My Little Pony OC (following the general design rules for MLP's, say unicorn with mane stripe and butt symbol) is perfectly fine. Basically, the design must be your own.
How about Limited Themes?
Limited Theme designations will not be given out on Christmas Plushies. While we won't pull them from the raffle, we'd prefer if you'd stay away from them, and they will NOT be marked with a limited theme on their tag if they get turned into Soquili.

Can I choose a different plushie to "grow" if one of mine is rolled?
No. The plushie rolled will be the plushie grown, so everyone should do their very best to make each and every plushie beautiful. wink

I have a mac and when I open the psd on my photoshop and I cannot figure out how to change the horse's markings... am i just totally a dunce?

Open the Main Body folder, and remove the "Paint Markings" layer. (or just color your new markings on there after erasing).

It won't let me open the folders... do I double click them? I keep double clicking and it either gives me the rename option... and yeah... thats it...

You click the "down" arrow/triangle next to the folder.
Double clicking will only give you rename or folder options.
