'twas, for once, quiet. But it was that early in the morning, so... nobody had risen yet. Even Lilith, after a busy night, had clambered back in through her window and collapsed into bed.

So Dua's activities were not really noticed. She was sitting at the kitchen table with Fedh, teaching him the basics of chemisty. Well - the basics that Dua was interested in, which was mostly to do with explosions.

"Boo" A soft voice whispered in Rija's ear, then a delicate hand was placed on her shoulder, spinning her around. "Oh, A satyr, right? Are you Fedh's friend? I'd rather you weren't - Nova said that I'm allowed to play with spies. They've stopped coming since I sent the bodyparts back" The woman speaking was a tall and slender beauty, wearing... eh... very little. Just enough to cover the important parts, really. She had wonderful shoulderlength purple hair, and a pair of twisted horns curling around from just above her small pointed ears. "It's unfair" She pouted prettily, folding her arms.

"Fedh's the satyr in there with Dua. Irritating kid - she's only like, seven, and she thinks she knows everything about bombmaking. She blew up the kitchen last week" Lilith peered at Rija, chewing her thumb thoughtfully. "I like the name. And yeah, spies. Nova has some very important things around here, so there are often people like that. But I guess you aren't, as you seem pretty ignorant" She tilted her head to one side consideringly, then nodded to herself. "I be Lilith. Succubus and guardian demon at your service" She bowed - it was kind of impossible for her to curtsy, as she didn't have enough skirt. "You have a pretty name. I think I'll name the next one I catch Rija. It'll be fun to play with, but I guess Nova might not approve..." She tailed off, then remembered Rija's questioning. "Nova's the owner of this moulding pile. She bought that thing in the kitchen back a few weeks ago - but this place has so many cats and stuff I'm suprised her gold reserves stand up to it without feeding more. Especially as she's still wearing my ring, which I find most offensive"

There were many doors into the gothic-style mansion; the one Lilith chose was a relatively small servants entrance. She preferred it, as no-one else used it.

The hallway it led to was old, and rather dusty. It's flagstones were cool under Lilith's bare feet - and of course, she had realised the satyr was following her. But living in this mad-house, you got used to the ways of younglings.

"Oh, probably about 30. Umm... maybe a few more or less. I know it was 20 six months ago, but a lot happens in six months" Lilith said carelessly, waving an elegant bangled hand. "And yeah, most of them are pretty dangerous. Just steer clear of most of the animals - dragons especially - and you'll be fine. And if you go anywhere near GD she'll attack you. She's all broody again" The succubus rolled her eyes, expressing just what she thought of broody wyverns.

"Largish gold-and-black reptilian thing with no eyes" Lilith commented, pushing open a door into what appeared to be a conservatory. Bright sunlight flooded the passage, and Lilith blinked, yawning - showing off a set of pointed teeth.

"Nova's out back, but she's not speaking to anyone at the moment, because she's a willow" Lilith said carelessly, leading her though the conservatory. "Watch out for that plant; it hasn't been fed this morning"
The plant in question was a large venus-fly-trap looking thing that turned to watch them as they walked past. Lilith pushed open the next door, which led - improbably - into a bright, cheerful kitchen. "Fedh, you've got, like, a visitor!"
"Nyah?" Fedh looked up from his discussion with the small angel, frowning. "Oh. Who are you?"
