Ah, the end of another day venturing out and about! Slowly but surely, he was mastering this school! Well... least in getting around and such as that. Stretching his arms high above his head, he enjoyed a nice stretch before he pushed open the doors to the demon dorms. Though he hadn't been sure of the place at first, the decorations grew on him and he no longer desired to stay up late and redo everything. Besides, what would the rest of the Dorms think? And his parents.. bleh, whatever. Minor detail.
Finding a comfy seat, he sank into it with a soft sigh. So many people just did not know how to dress! It was rather depressing if one thought about it properly. But not all of them could become a Project. That was simply too massive an undertaking, even for him. His eyes grew thoughtful as he drummed his fingers against the arms of his chair. Now what to do? It was still early yet and he didn't know what else to do... hmph. What a pain.

While the start of school was slow and generally uneventful, it seemed that that was just the calm before the storm; first, there was the student council elections, then battle of the bands followed by the student council welcoming party. Not to mention the many classes she signed up for - she even had a pumpkin-baby to take care of! However, today was her "off" day and Sprout - the name given to the creature that had emerged from the pumpkin given by Nurse Cricket - was with Tahki, her partner in the project.
While taking care of a "baby" was difficult, it was hard not to miss him. Thus, Lizzy had decided to take a breather from her now unusually quiet dorm room. She was dressed rather casually, silky hair held up in a loose bun with hair sticks, a pale pink dress up to her knees with a scarf over her shoulders and a pair of black covered shoes.
Walking down the corridor, she passed by the common room and spotted something green inside. She took a moment to stare before matching in, looking rather delighted. Stopping in front of the green-haired Demon in the armchair, she leaned towards him with a genuine smile and a brief nod, "Your outfit is fabulous!"

By the time Lizzy had entered the common room, his eyes had been closed in thought. Really, there had to be more to do! Shame it was that he had arrived late; all the interesting classes were already full. Though he had managed to find one that appeared open... hopefully. But either there'd be more coming soon, or he'd find ways to amuse himself in the meantime.
No, it was the phrase that caused an eye to open. Fabulous? Of course it was! He was wearing it, naturally! But to hear such praise made him sit up and see who had spoken it and he was very pleasantly surprised to see the girl. "May I same the same for yours! The color scheme is perfect for you!" It wasn't often he met those who simply seemed to just get it, but this girl definitely got it! Straightening the outfit in question, he smiled up at the girl before he got up and bowed properly before her. "Please to meet one as fashionable as yourself. I'm called Livi. And you would be?" As proper demon lore, of his branch anyway, decreed!; he took light hold of her hand brushed the air above it before just as gently releasing it. Always good to start off with a good impression!

"Why, thank you," She smiled; it was always nice to be complimented on her dressing, especially by those she deemed as being fabulously fashionable. She dipped her head in greeting when he stood up, realizing that she had been rather rude by complimenting him before introducing herself; luckily, he didn't seem to mind. When he took her hand, Lizzy's natural blush became slightly darker.
While she was unsure of what exactly he was doing, she had seen her mother interact with their clothing store's customers enough to know that different Halloween denizens have different forms of greeting - some more interesting than others... Perhaps that was his way of greeting others? If so, he is quite the gentleman!
"My name is Lizzy," She replied with a small smile, a hand on her chest as she bowed slightly, feeling a need to give the Demon an equally polite greeting, "And the honor is mine... I love your hair!" Her eyes widened a little as she eyed his green and white hair, wondering if it was natural.

"You're very welcome." It wouldn't do to be rude to someone who knew how to dress! He was pretty positive that she made several people envious daily! Without trying! That definitely earned some respect from this demon. Seeing her blush made him smile a bit, since it seemed normal for people to do. Were they not used to such a greeting? He wasn't sure if it was something scarcely done or not, but until someone told him otherwise, it was how he said hi. To girls, anyway. It'd be.. disturbing to greet boys like that.
"Honored to meet you, Miss Lizzy." A pleased smile showed on his face at the dip she gave. Ah, a true lady indeed! This was earning the school some bonus points. Good to know people of some sort of breeding were here. Not to say all beings weren't cultured... he stopped on that train of thought immediately. As if on impulse, his hand reached up and ran through his hair. "Ah? This mess? Thank you kindly. I still wonder who I got it from, since neither of my parents have this sort of hair color. Maybe I was born lucky.. or particularly more deviant than most. I'm not sure. Your hair looks so fine and silky. I've never come across hair as fair as yours." He was very curious what kind of demon she was...
"Where do you get your fashions? Do they tailor to men as well?" If so, he'd have to visit!

"The style and colors suits you perfectly," She would have swooned, but that would be rather unbecoming of her, especially in this situation - swooning should be done privately, behind closed doors and over a good romance novel! She smiled at the compliment, gently twirling a lock of hair that was framing her face around her finger in response, her blush seemed to deepen in color, "I seem to get 'silky' a lot... Although I believe me being a Spider Demon might have a lot to do with that." A light chuckle escaped her lips.
"I make a minority of my clothes myself," She beamed, glad that the fashionable Livi was taking an interest in her clothing, "However, this dress was made by my mother... Perhaps you've heard of us? The Baines Clothing Store."
While their store was not particularly big nor famous, it does cater more to those who could afford to have their clothes tailor-made... Thus, most of their patrons end up to be Demons, although the other races do make an appearance at their shop from time to time. Her mother does make clothes in her spare time, however, and those usually go up for sale in the store. While significantly more affordable, the quality would never be compromised... Perhaps that's why they often get repeat costumers.

"You think so?" He himself didn't think too much about his hair; past the fact that he made sure it never clashed with anything he wore. And he wasn't used to someone saying his hair fit well with it, so it pleased him on all sorts of different levels. Aw, it was simply a pleasure to be praised by someone as fashionable as himself! "Hmm, it's possible, or else it has everything to do with how you take care of yourself. For it's rather obvious you make sure you always look your best. Or... I could always be assuming." He doubted it, though. The way she held herself, the way she spoke all pointed to that simple truth.
The name of the clothing store made him tilt his head and he pondered it awhile. Baines... Baines... it sounded familiar... when the proverbial Scream-bulb went off, he tapped a fist into his open palm and nodded. "Ah yes! I have! Sadly, I have yet to go there to shop, but I have heard many wonderful things from those close to my parents. Sadly, they don't share the same care for fashion as I do... I shall have to try to find a way to see a catalog." He was highly impressed she could make clothing and he said as such. "I'm not that talented in such matters. I buy my fashions. I fear what I'd create if allowed use of fabrics and thread. I can pick out fabrics... just not make it into something one can wear."
This girl seemed rather nice and this seemed to be starting his new school year well. "Are you part of the fashion club? I'm hoping to join it. The club will definitely be more interesting if you're in it as well?" He really hoped she was in it. To be able to talk to another with ease was a rarity he felt he should horde.. if he was a Greed demon and not Envy.

"I do, it seems you for some reason I can't quite put my finger on," Lizzy chuckled before nodding, a small smile on her lips, "I do take pride in my hair... It doesn't seem to grow any longer than this though." Then, realizing that she had her hair up and that the boil could not possibly see how long her hair was, the blushing Spider Demoness quickly added, "To a little past my shoulders, I mean."
It was a nice change to be able to talk to a boil rather than a ghoul outside of class; she didn't seem to run into them that often.
"The clothes in the store change monthly, so I'm sure you'll find something to your taste," She nodded, rather confident of it; all pieces are unique, after all... While she had observed her mother making clothes her whole life, Lizzy couldn't help but still be impressed by the speed at which her mother works at. She continued, rather excited, "Besides, you could always pick out a fabric and trust my mother to make it into something that suits you... I'm sure she would be delighted!"
At the mention of the Fashion Club, Lizzy paused for a short moment, as if thinking, "Well, I believe that I am on the list, but the club president had not been doing much yet and we hadn't held any meetings... I do know of another ghoul in the club, an adorable Witch by the name of Belladonna... I'm sure the two of you will get along."

She could tell that no one truly said something like that about his hair and he felt rather pleased about it indeed. "Well then, perhaps I can grow to like this mop of mine." A faint chuckle left him as he rolled a white lock between his fingers a bit, going a bit cross eyed to look at it. "Sadly, can't style it too much. Either it becomes a fro or it just looks bad. So I tend to leave it alone nowadays." He had been just about to ask how long her hair really was whens he added it in and he nodded. "Ah, but I'm sure it's beautiful either way. Do you not like it down too much? Or is it easier than leaving it down?" In his mind's eye, he was making mental photos of Lizzy; his way of documenting the fashionable people he meets or to make mental catalog of his Projects.
Not that this lovely creature needed help from him! No, she had it all settled in quite a lovely package. It did somewhat cross his mind that so far, he's only met ghouls, but he tended to get along better with ghouls than boils. Or maybe it was because boils made him act a different way. He wasn't sure. It was easier to be around ghouls, in his opinion. "I may have to do that; bring some cloth choices by and see what she can come up with. Especially since I can't wear this all the time." He teasingly poked at his outfit a bit. It was unsightly to always wear the same fashions. "Hmm, i wonder if we're allowed to go by and see it? Could you, perhaps, take me there? Whenever you're free, of course."
As Lizzy spoke of the fashion club, he frowned softly. No meetings as of yet? What a shame! "I hope something gets started soon. Belladonna? Hmm, perhaps we can meet up sometime. I'm not against meeting about fashionable folks." His smile hadn't once faded yet and he was truly enjoying this conversation. "Haven't met too many other students since I've arrived. You're the second one I've met."

"Well, I consider it a blessing to have hair that looks great without even trying," She laughed as she nodded, knowing how terrible her hair can be on certain 'bad hair days'; it would be impossible for her to leave her room without having to fiddle with it first! She then chuckled, eyes rolling upwards to stare at her bangs, "It depends on my mood and my clothes for the day - sometimes, I leave it down, but during classes, I normally have it up... It gets me in the mood to work."
Her eyes started to shine when he mentioned her mother's shop again; it was obvious that she was more than willing to take him there when the opportunity presents itself. She nodded, beaming at the boil, "I would be honored to! Ah, I can imagine you in something formal yet messy and casual at the same time; I have a scarf that would look perfect for that! You would no doubt be able to pull that smart and slick look off!"
When she finally finished what she had to say, Lizzy stared silently at the Demon for an entire 3 seconds before she realized that she had been rambling. Looking rather flustered at the realization, she fiddled with a fold on her dress and muttered an apology; she really should stop doing that!
"A-Ah, yes... I hope things pick up too," She quickly replied, inclining her head to look at Livi, "I've heard that the club does fashion makeovers for those willing, and I think that its a great idea!" Her expression then turned to one of surprise, "Really? Well, I suppose it might be due to the classes... More are becoming available."

"I will agree with you on that." Sometimes, he wished dealing with hair was as simple as deciding what to wear day to day. But least he didn't have to use the hair products many did much. Hair clips or ties to keep it out of the way worked well enough for him. "Makes sense then." He nodded gently at her words. "I'm still finding classes to enter but I have no idea what I'd look like with my hair up. I fear I'd look a fright with it twisted about."
Lizzy's reaction to going to her family's clothing store made him very pleased. It seemed that she also liked to spend her time looking at fashions and shopping... hopefully. Things did certainly point to that really. "Excellent! We should make a day of it, I think. I would love to try those out! Why do I have the feeling it'll be an all day trip? Not that I mind at all. Do you tend to chose fashions for others as well?"
The apology had been a tad unexpected, making him frown softly in confusion. Why would she ever need to apologize? It took a second or two for him to fully understand but once he did, he chuckled softly and waved a hand gently. "Please, never apologize. I actually liked the ideas and it wasn't like you were rambling or anything. If it was, then I'm guilty of the same crime, so no harm done, yes?" He would have placed a comforting hand on her shoulder, but he wasn't sure if such a thing would be considered too forward. However, she could tell that he wanted to comfort any unease she may have been feeling. "It is an excellent idea! That's a hobby I tend to do on my own time; helping others learn to dress better, I mean. It is a fabulous way to spend the time, I think. It's one of the things that drew me to the club, to be honest." With a faint hmm, he nodded. "Yes, most likely the case. Sooner or later, I'm sure to meet up with more people. But until then, I'm glad to get to meet you."

"Well, I'm sure you'll find classes to be interesting, to say the least!" She laughed softly, knowing how most of the classes had been rather interactive and fun. Still, there were those that caused her much stress, although those also seem to be the more memorable ones. Looking at the Demon, she idly wondered what sort of classes he would pick; if only there was a class on fashion!
"We should!" She was clearly excited as she leaned forward in her seat, beaming at Livi, "A full day trip to shop? I wouldn't want to spend my free time any other way! I used to choose outfits for my ghoul friends back home, and we would give each other makeovers for fun. However, since enrolling into Amityville, I haven't had the chance to do much shopping, much less picking out outfits for anyone!" She pouted at the thought; there was someone on her mind where 'makeover' was concerned! At least, it seemed like it would be fun.
She couldn't help but chuckle as she nodded in agreement, "Ah, I suppose so... I am just delighted to meet someone who dresses so well and share an interest in fashion!" She had only met one other like that, and they hadn't met up for a while - she does miss the bubbly witch!
"A hobby? Really?" Her eyes widened; she had only arranged makeover for those close to her, since they were more comfortable to work with, but helping 'strangers' dress better does have its appeal... She stroked her chin briefly before musing out loud, smiling more to herself than to the Demon before her, "It sounds like a satisfying hobby."
She could feel herself blushing a little as she nodded, "I'm sure you will! And I am glad that I got to meet you as well - its a big school, after all... What were the chances of running into someone who share your interests in the same dorm?"
[I say they should join forces and dress Amrita up for a day. xD]

(( They most definitely should! He's plotting on getting her into different colors so badly XD))
"I'm sure I will. A shame there is no fashion classes, but I suppose the art and skill of looking good doesn't exactly equate to growing our FEAR strength, sadly." A soft sigh left him as he shook his head with dismay. He did understand that, as members of Halloween, the ultimate goal was to scare the souls out of meatsacks (who made up such a distasteful term??) but did it have to be an ugly thing to do? He enjoyed looking good and he could tell that Lizzy did as well. It seemed a shame that she would have to dirty herself by doing something distasteful. But FEAR made the world go round, not much could truly be done.
"It's nothing more than a shame that you haven't been able to shop since coming here! I hadn't thought that we'd be unable to when we enrolled." A frown of intense displeasure showed before he brightened. "We'll just have to make sure we go shopping often, yes? To make up for all those messed chances you've had." Most definitely was a kindred soul and he was glad they could talk like this. "Make overs are simply delightful! And I've noticed that... quite a few students here are in need of one." He said that low and in a soft whisper, to make sure no one seriously over heard. It wasn't like he was lying. "Why can't there be a fashion class? I'd even teach it myself if I was allowed! People should at least learn the basics!"
"And it is! I've already started one with a cute little ghoul named Amrita. That yellow thing she wears is nothing short of offensive and I know I can get her into something better. It's just getting her to do so without attempting to run away from me..." But there was a soft grin on his face as he said that. He had the feeling her need to dash from him was more out of shyness than of dislike of him and he was determined to show her he meant her no harm at the end of the day. Just wanted her to realize that she could look better, even at her age. "What are the chances indeed? Obviously, we were meant to meet and connect. Makes me feel less out of place..."

"It is vital to dress well to make a good first impression though, at least, in my opinion," She nodded with a soft sigh, looking thoughtful as she continued, "Although I suppose for anyone looking for an occupation regarding scaring humans and keeping Halloween alive, looking 'scary' is vital..." She thought back to the forms and faces class, where the teacher had taught them how to change their appearances with make-up... And how the make-up stuck to her face for days after.
"I hadn't thought that either - I thought I would have the weekends to do so, but it seems like I had been kept busy with homework!" She quickly smiled at Livi's suggestion, before her eyes widened in surprise. As she spoke again, her tone was one filled with mild excitement, "Amrita? The adorable undead ghoul? I know her! What a coincidence!"
They were meant to meet, she was sure of it!
"I could convince her to go shopping with us!" She giggled, her smile growing by the second as she tapped her finger against her chin thoughtfully. She had never really thought of Amrita needing a make-over, since the ghoul had been awfully sweet to her and she had not noticed what she was wearing. Still, when Livi mentioned her sari, she couldn't help nodding in agreement, "She might be more receptive to her ghoul than a boil, after all... We'll have to try someday! Ah, she's the perfect candidate for a make-over!" She would have hugged him already, if he was a ghoul - their list of shared interests just kept growing!
"I would buy her everything that suits her," She continued happily, eager to pamper the ghoul who had cheered her up when she was feeling down even if they weren't 'close' yet; Lizzy felt that she could definitely get along with her just fine, "You can never have too much clothing! Or shoes. Or accessories for that matter..."
