Appearance: Kyuzaku is very different looking than many of his peers. Although he wears a ninja face-mask, headband, and clothing like his peers, Kyuzaku has key traits that make make him stick out in a crowd. For one, any exposed skin is a strange greyish-blue. His eyes are small, round, and beady, and have black, gill-like slits beneath them. From the top of his headband is a spiky mess of blue-black hair.
Kyuzaku wears a traditional set of Kirigakure ninja clothes. His headband is black and has long ends that fall down to his shoulders. He has a long-sleeved black ninja-net undershirt, covered with a black sleevless tee. The netting stretches down to his grey and blue camo wrist warmers. Below, Kyuzaku wears a pair of black pants with white pinstripe. The bottoms are held tight with a pair of grey and blue legwarmers. Kyuzaku has normal ninja sandals in black. His grey ninja-tool satchel is attached to his belt on his left side.

History: The Hoshigaki family is known for putting out interesting and talented ninja. However, their popularity in Kirigakure dropped considerably when particular Hoshigaki known as Kisame betrayed the village. Its been a long time since then, and their reputation has improved, but their size has decreased. These days, Kyuzaku is expected to bring honor to the dwindling Hoshigaki.
Upon entering the Academy, Kyuzaku found himself to be different from the rest. It wasn't just his blue skin or his small round eyes or his sharp teeth. It was his spirit. While other students wanted to just be strong in there own right, Kyuzaku needed to be strong, and had something to work for. His natural talent and learned skills set him apart from the class. Those above noticed it quickly, and took advantage of his growth. Instead of following the usual curriculum, Kyuzaku was placed into a special training regime that focused on practical training, instead of the basic theoretical and physical training they did in the academy. Before he even graduated the academy, he would already be doing D-Rank missions and doing intense training excersizes in small group of talented Mist Ninja students.
Upon graduation, Kyuzaku plans to jump right into mission work. By doing so, he knows he will go far beyond his peers, and someday become a famous (or infamous) elite ninja.
On a side note: Kyuzaku's favorite food is sushi, his least favorite is scallops (or any other type of shellfish for that matter). Kyuzaku's favorite hobby is deep sea fishing, closely followed by Taijutsu training.

Unfortunately each needs to be specially made to interact with the biology of the ninja it's given to, and as such they will not work should another ninja attempt to use them, even if that other ninja is an ally in dire need of a boost.

The upper limbs are more used in the actions and movements which have a great variety of changes to deal with different situations. Flying Crane is adjustable to the opponent. ---Description: By rerouting chakra from his forearms and out his skin, Kyuzaku can make his sandpaper rough scales transform into sharp spikes. Combined with that, the muscles on his arms recieve an incredible bonus in muscle mass. Combined, this makes any Taijutsu attack Kyuzaku use much more deadly. Even when the enemy thinks they dodged a punch, they might just find that they've skinned their arm instead!

An Upgrade to Kyuzaku's Scales of Justice technique. This time, the attack isn't as straining on his body, but instead draws from his chakra instead. Like the old technique, the scales on Kyu's arms turn into large, sharp spikes. At the same time, the muscle mass of his arms increases. What seperates this technique even farther from the origional is the fact that his fists grow spikes as well. One spike juts from each knuckle, and the tip of each finger becomes a sharp claw. With all of these spikes, even a simple punch could leave an enemy in ribbons.

Kyu updated his Scales technique once more. This time, the scales on Kyu's arms do not simply jut out like a fleshy mace or morning star. Instead, they remain compact even while the musclemass all over his body increases considerably. At the same time, Kyu's chakra builds an aura around him. When Kyu lands a Taijutsu attack, the strong flow of chakra eminating from his muscles cuts into the enemy like a blade, similair to how his scales once did.

---Description: Kyuzaku Hoshigaki designed this technique while inspired by the Leaf's Leaf Great Whirlwind and Leaf Rising Wind Taijutsu Techniques. For this technique, the user rushes at the opponent, and does a feint high kick. After the feint, the user dips down to the ground, and readies his legs. A powerful kick is unleashed the to the opponent's chest from below, firing them off at a fourty-five degree angle into the air. To finish the combo, the user jumps up after them, and kicks them down with a drop kick. If performed correctly, the user will have sent the enemy flying far away into the air, then back down to earth. The distance between user and foe increases incredibly after this move, and leaves the user open to follow up with projectile attacks such as kunai, shuriken, or long-ranged ninjutsu.

---Description: Same-gan is an affectionate name for one of Kyuzaku's natural abilities. As he is part shark, he has enhanced eyesight. Kyu can see well in dark lighted areas and has excellent night vision. On top of that, Kyu's has a second pair of eyelids that protects his eyes, while still being able to see. However, all of these traits are usually unusable, as thousands of years of evolution has rendered them weak. To activate them, Kyuzaku simply uses his chakra, and gets back the ancient eyes of the shark.

While under this illusion, they feel the strength of a team behind their back, and become more confident with every action.

When Kyu directs an attack, they fly into action. The twin jellies fly through the air in a fast, straight line while spinning quickly like shuriken. They only need to graze the enemy with their deadly, flailing, poison-barbed tentacles to bring them to their knees in extreme pain. These tentacles hit a wide area, making it easy to hit many targets with a single throw.

The speed of the jellyfish's growth cause the stinging tentacles to fly forward like a whip. When these stingers touch an enemy, the result is a painful but harmless sting. The pain, however, is so intense that the target will find it difficult to focus on things, such details of the world around him.

After speaking with them, he was offered a position in their ranks, and got this initiation tattoo on his right arm. The tattoo is jet black and tribal looking. When Kyu gives chakra to the tattoo, it boosts his abilities greatly. Additionally, it allows Kyu to summon countless jellyfish of various species to battle by his side. By utilizing these jelllies, Kyu can use many types of jutsu that don't use chakra, but are simply poisonous extensions of Taijutsu.

From there, he picks the foe up above his head, and jumps high into the air. The foe is held over his knee, and as they fall and hit the ground, gravity does the rest of the work.

Once the clone reaches 0 stamina OR the de-buff is removed (de-activated or resisted), the dark-clone disappears.
Similar to Puppets, Ally items, and Summons, you gain 1 extra "turn" from one of said clones. This "extra turn" does not stack with those granted by an Ally Item, Puppet, or Clone. Sustainable.
