It was supposed to be a peaceful afternoon
Poke had finished her classes for the day, and had retreated to her room so she could relax, and not have to think about anything school related. So in her attempt to do such, she had grabbed her computer and started browsing random sites.
It was by pure chance, that she had stumbled upon a video in her searchings. The video itself was kinda stupid, but the information it held caused poke to stop in her tracks, and lean forward into the screen, shock starting to seep in.
"....no way....."
She stared at the screen, blinking a few times, not wanting to believe it. She searched a few more times, looking up a few more sources. It looked ledgit
"......."
Again, she sat there, trying to take in this information. Eventually, she realised that this information was indeed, or most likely, true. If not a very good fake that she was most cetaintly falling for it.
"...WHAT THE ******** IS THIS FAGGOTORY?!?!?" Poke stood up and shouted at the top of her lungs, not hearing the startled yelp from her roomate lina who was currently taking a nap. "THIS CAN'T BE TRUE. WHAT THE ********?!?!" Her anger levels running to a all time high, she Unleashed a furious battle cry and sprinted out of the room, leaving a very bewildered Lina in her wake.
She was on the hunt.

((I guess I'm assuming this is before the halloween madness goes down?))
Klyde had spent his time after school on his laptop in the lunch room, bottle of synthetic blood on the table beside him. Despite how horrible it tasted he still managed to down quite a few of them without too much trouble.
At the moment he was working on a project, searching the vast internet for research materials. He didn't always seem to be the brightest but he managed well enough in class. It was the extra time like this that he set aside to work on stuff that really helped keep him in the game. Otherwise....there were really only two things on his mind at all times.
((More characters? Sohki or....whoever else I have....I can add as we go.))

Amazinly, it didn't take long for poke to find who she was looking for. As she had stormed across the grounds in search, she had made a detour to the lunchroom to se if he was there and, indeed, he was. Just sitting there and looking at a laptop. However, he wasn't the only one there..
"Heeyy!" Varn called from the other side of the room, waving her over. "What are you up to? you look like you're about to tear someone a new limb"
"I am!" she pronounced, then pointed to Kyle. "I wanna kick his a**"
A sudden coughing splutter sounded, which announced Ken's presence as he chocked on his soda. Poke stepped forward to pat him on the back while Varn proceeded to ask. " Wow, why do you wanna beat him up?"
"Because he's wrecking my childhood!" she said back. "Well...not him personally, but I still wanna challenge him to a fight. Do you know how long I've been waiting for to fight one of the vampires? it will be so cool!"
"What the hell?!!" A few more coughing sounds, and Ken managed to stand from his seat and succeed in breathing normally. "Are you insane poke?! You don't stand a chance against Kyle!"
"Who says? I think I have a plenty good chance!"
"I do, and how do you even plan to get him to fight you? He's not a brawler you know"
"So? I don't care, I'm going to challenge him!" And with that, poke began her march towards Kyles table with determination in her eyes
"Wait!" Ken shouted after. "poke, get back here!" He then turned to Varn for support. "Varn, Help me out here, please...
"Hmm..." He appeared to be thinking of something, and for a second, Ken thought he would be able to talk poke out of her decision. Until he jumped from his seat to follow her. "Lets see how she fares!"
"..I think I'm gonna be sick.." Ken muttered to himself.

Looking up from his laptop hearing Poke throwing a fit, Klyde noticed that she was pointing in his direction. She appeared to be rather upset though he had no idea why that would involve him. He hardly knew her, in fact, he had only been near her when Mitsu was around. Parts of the conversation started to filter his way and he could only roll his eyes. What was honestly wrong with this girl? She seemed to think about fighting more than he thought about sex, which was frankly....the majority of the time.
For a moment he thought about getting up and leaving but it seemed he was too late to make an escape. Poke was already storming her way over, a look of sheer determination on her face. "Sweet Mother Mary," Klyde groaned, wondering if she would at least remember his name correctly this time. For some reason she had a problem with that with a handful of people...and he was one of them.

"Hey, Kyle!" Poke had stormed up to him, her foot coming up to lean upon the other side of the table. and her finger pointing at him. "I challenge you to a fight! I haven't paid you back for all the crap you put my friends through yet, so I think now is a dam good time!" Cracking her knuckles, she stood back and folded her arms "Well? you gonna accept or what?"
Varn chose a seat close to the two, but far enough to keep out of their way if something did arise. He was quickly joined by ken, who was still looking slightly sick.

And now here they went, how could he have guessed. Playing dumb to the fact that Poke meant him, Klyde looked around for a moment before his eyes settled back on the girl. "There is no Kyle here..." Not that he thought that would save him from this situation but it was worth a shot. As the guys suspected he wasn't much of a brawler unless the situation had a pay out to his advantage.....this one did not. "And why all a sudden are you amped for a fight? I haven't been in the hive for months now."

"Very funny man, ha ha" Poke said after she had realized she had stuffed up his name. It wasn't like she didn't know his name, but sometimes, mispronunciations happened, and she was far from bothered to remember his name properly. Since he had been a a** and all.
As for why she wanted to fight him? well, she was still angry about that video, but that wasn't the full reason; more or less a catalyst for her anger. But, she wasn't about to tell him that.
"I'm amped for a fight because I'm tired of having to put up with snobby vampires who think they're better then everyone!" she proudly claimed.

With a sigh Klyde leaned his elbow on the table, propping his head up on his hand. She seemed very determined to go through with this....though he had no real idea why. Her reasoning....had holes in it and he wasn't about to engage in a fight over something stupid. Especially when...he really didn't want to fight. "And what part of me dropping out of the hive didn't prompt you to think I wanted to change?" Closing the lid on his laptop he looked over at her friends who seemed to be spectating their little conversation. "Do you want me to apologize for being an a**?" His tone seemed serious but his face did not....he was still working on that.

Poke didn't' seemed convinced about his 'dropping out of the hive' act. "Somehow I doubt you're left the hive. As for a apology, I doubt you'd mean it"
"Come on poke!" Ken suddenly shouted from his spot. "just let the guy apologize and stop this, theres no reason you should be picking a fight with this guy!"
"Why not?" was her reply
"One, because you'll get in trouble. Two, I doubt your reasoning is intact at the moment, and three, you'll get slaughtered!"
"Hey, I refused to let vampires walk over my friends, as well as my cartoon shows besides, he isn't stronger then me!"
"Yes he is! he is alot stronger then you, and given the chance he will kick your a**. "

"Your friend seems to be the voice of reason, I would listen," Klyde also seemed all the more confused when Poke added a little something to her list of things that vampires were walking all over. "Your....cartoon shows?" He seemed in disbelief. "What the hell are you talking about?"
If anything, Klyde did have to give Poke credit for having balls. Not many were brave enough to storm up to a guy who was stronger than they were and start shooting their mouth. Especially when that someone was an undead blood sucker like him. Though, he hardly doubted Poke even grasped that kind of fear if she even knew what fear was to begin with. It also seemed....she didn't quite believe that he was stronger. She would be in for a sad surprise if this fight she wanted to happen so badly actually got under way.

Poke turned back to Kyle once he said she should listen to ken."Kens only afraid you'll start sucking our blood or something stupid like that. As if I'd let that happen"
When prompted to explain herself, poke glared at him, at first not willing to explain, but eventually, she caved, looking extremely pissed. "They're making a live action sequel!" she cried out. "AND THEY'RE USING VAMPIRES!"
With a sad sigh, Ken hung his head for minute, wondering if there was any way he would be able to talk poke out of this. Again he turned to Varn. "Varn, you gotta help me out here. You know that Kyle will easily beat poke, right?"
"I dunno...she has been training really hard.." Varn replied back. "And if it gets to dangerous I'm sure we could put a stop to it. I mean it's not like it's a death match or anything
"...Do you even know how strong vampires are?" he asked
"Why you ask that?"
"Varn, If kyle really wanted to, he could lift up both of these tables, use them as giant clubs, and then thwack us out for a home run. And he wouldn't even break a sweat." He looked at Varn. "I'm not joking"
"hmph, I don't care" poke said. "Besides I bet thats just bullcrap anyway, stuff made up from that book. Theres no way he'd be that powerful" And even if he was, she made her challenge, and she wasn't going to back down. Regardless of how scary Kyle may be, she was not going to let herself be phased.

Dear god, apparently she had been calling him Kyle this whole time and now all her friends thought that was his name. "Klyde....my name is Klyde. Kl....yde.....and again.....what are you talking about? Live action sequel to what?.....and what vampires?" She wasn't making much since....and she was starting to irritate him. Maybe it would do her good to have a little fear set in her brain.
As soon as she mentioned book, Klyde's eyes narrowed. There was usually only one book that people liked to associate with vampires recently and it made Klyde very twitchy just thinking about it. "Alright," He looked at Poke as he rolled his eyes putting his laptop away in his bag. "If I accept this....'challenge'." He used his fingers to quote the word since to him it really wasn't a challenge. There was a reason he and Desmond were banned from taking classes involving physical activities....it was unfair to the rest of the children and more than likely someone was bound to get hurt. "What do I get if I win?"

The moment Ken realized he had mispronounced Klydes name, he immediately backpedaled. "Klyde, I meant klyde" he held his hands up defensively, which seemed to annoy poke even more. She did not want to see her friends scared of him.
"Okay, if I win, you have to get on your hands and knees and swear you'll never bug my friends again. If you win..umm" she seemed thoughtful for a second "You can bite me".
"She can't be serious...." Ken watched in disbelief while Varn cheered her on. "You can do it poke!"

Klyde quirked a brow at her offer to what he would win. "I hope you're sure about that." Standing to his feet he threw his bag over his shoulder looking to her other friend that was close by. If Klyde didn't know better....it was like Poke had an angel and demon scenario going on with these two. One trying to convince her of the right path, the other recklessly shoving her toward the path of stupidity.
"Well, where do you want this to take place?" Klyde asked rather boredly. He hoped to get this over with soon. "I could really care less." It wasn't super sunny outside, mostly cloudy, so he could be outside for a while with minimum risk of being burned too badly.

"Of course I am!" poke replied with a grin. "And, we're going to fight outside in the sun of course" It appeared poke wasn't completely off her rocket. In fact, she did have a few ideas of how she could beat this vampire in a fight. First off was to make sure they would fight outside, in the sunlight. That would surely give her a edge.
"I hope she doesn't think that's going to help her win" Ken mumbled glumly,
"Hey, vampires get really weak in the sunlight, so it's definitely going to help, even if there isn't much of it." Varn nodded to himself. "Yeah, plus theres other stuff too, at least thats what those books and websites said"
Ken looked up to him as if he were nuts. "...Are you saying you and poke researched about vampires?"
"Of course!"
