~::Embryon Headquarters::~ ~::Somewhere Within the Heart of the Headquarters...::~
Somewhere within the Embryon Headquarters...a room guarded by two inept guards not permitted to leave their posts in order to hear the speech of Masamune Date to the entire base. Inside the room is a very precious recovery, one from the incident the other night...

Chidori Yoshino
The muted patters of footsteps hung toxically in the air, stinging the shadowed figure's ears with the sound of failure. She needed to walk more swiftly, more quietly. With all the passion of a rock but the form of a tigress, Chidori prowled, allowing, with an odd, empty sort of pleasure, the chain of her axe to rattle ever so slightly. Medea not only shielded her presence from the prying eyes of outsiders, even those especially gifted at detecting life, but it also allowed her to detect life. What careless fools... Not even trying to keep their presence hidden. While all of the other Embryon members were busy scurrying around like the insignificant ants they are elsewhere in the base, here these two buffoons were, guarding what may very well be the most important factor in the fate of everything.
Him. A distinct void where purpose once was suddenly filled her mouth with copper and eyes with contained rage. But that would soon subside, Chidori knew.
The faint murmurs of the guards on duty were received the same way one would a fly. They needed to be extinguished to continue the mission. Creeping out of the shadows, she was now fully visible to the two, red hair flowing like pools of blood, gently being soaked into disturbingly innocent lace. To them, Chidori was death incarnate. She dealt with the first one before he could react, slinging the chain of her axe with deadly accuracy. There was a 'thump' and then silence as the blade embedded itself into her victim's head. Then, with a flicker of her wrist, a concentrated string of flames crawled up the chain, then, upon reaching the head, erupted! Blood and guts flew everywhere, staining the grey floors of the Embryon base. Although she did not particularly care for the mess and carnage, there was something about the almost volcanic like way her prey exploded with that particular move that left her hand twitching for a piece of charcoal and paper. It was, in its own way, a type of shunned beauty that only the truly enlightened could see.
The other guard's demise came just as quickly as the last. Deciding to reserve her energy, Chidori opted for the less gruesome head severing.
"There appears to be brains on my dress..." She deadpanned. Wonderful.
With a side-step to avoid the bodies and the opening of the door (which was conveniently unlocked. It's like they were begging to be ambushed), the white and red figure delicately floated in, as if nothing had ever happened. Although she didn't let on in the slightest, not even to herself, there was likely a bit of twisted humour behind her sudden bought of 'grace' and 'innocence.'
Bodies on cold metal tables surrounded her, as bright white lights attempted to blind. Luckily she was more adjusted than that. After a few moments of searching, she found her target.
The body of Takaya.
Dutifully, she treaded towards his corpse, taking slow, confident strides, somehow knowing that she would not be interrupted and as a result would not need to take any precautions or be particularly hasty with her actions. Still the slight sense of urgency sped her up once her arms were raised. Icy hands met an equally icy forehead, forming a suction-like bond between the two. Slowly, the life began to drain out of Chidori, enveloping only one of their bodies in the healing green light of life... Only one. Suddenly, an odd, lonely pang resounded in her gut leaving a painful sense of deja vu, one that the girl could not place the cause of. She should be happy - or, well, as happy as she could get! This was for the greater good! This was... Her savior.
The dimming of the world around her caused these thoughts to come to a halt, however, and slowly her eyelids fluttered. Weaker...... Weaker.... An unquenchable thirst came upon her, followed by a light head. Everything turned dark. Limply, her body fell to the side, rendered fully unconscious and perhaps.... Even dead.

 "Jin Shirato", StregaBlackness...empty darkness surrounded him, enveloped him, embraced him...though he could not think, could not feel, he had welcomed death with open arms and in-turn, it had given him exactly what he had expected from it. An ending. ...But it would also be just the beginning, for he had long-since planned for the day that his death would come, even gone so far as to ensuring when it would happen, how, and for what purpose his passing on into darkness would be done. Now, just as he had planned that day when the Lord General of Embryon and his followers had gathered around him and taken his bait, the day of truth was upon them. Today was the day when he proved not just his existence...but that he was above the very laws of existence. Today he revealed that even the embrace of death itself was not strong enough to defeat the will of Nyx; for those who believed in her became her agents, the right hand of death itself, and none who believed so strongly as him could be taken unto her without her blessing. Today, was the day of his rebirth...the day of his revival...today he awakened as only one man before him had ever done. And tonight when he returned to the place from whence he had come, he would be hailed as a true prophet, a true savior for those who followed him. Those who had seen that building collapse on top of him, sensed his very life snuffed out in the fall of the Warehouse amidst the bodies of the Embryons that he had killed, would now see him walk again amongst the living. The Anti-Christ...indeed, death was but a blessing...only for the worthy.
His serpentine eyes shot open in an instant, mouth flying agape to take into his chest a deep, deep breath...and in one instant his body felt a thousand times more sensitive, more alive than it had ever been. His eyes saw brighter, his very skin was on fire, and every little sinew in his body he could feel as though a pin were pricking every little inch of him. His body seemed to rise up off the slab in the morgue on its own, raising until he sat upright and turned his legs, setting his feet down upon the floor with a steadiness that should not have been possible for a man who had just spent the better part of two days legally dead. He was expressionless when he reached his feet, eyes searching as if to take in the situation, and then...his eyes fell upon the body on the floor, her life cruelly given so that he could rise again, a mockery to the man more famous for a similar rise from the grave. And no sooner had he seen her body than did his lips at last show something...they curled into a devilish, almost-deranged smirk. His shoulders began to rumble as a low sound filled the room, growing into a murmur and a laugh...and then, erupting into a maddened crescendo, evil laughter echoing through the room as he threw his head back in delight.
"Hahahahaha...oh, re-JOICE! My brothers!" he cried out in pure, unadulterated intensity, everything he had ever believed about himself finally proven true by his own clever plans and the gift of this foolish girl at his feet, "I return as a messiah...to deliver you all from this wretched world. ...Come, Chidori." His voice took on a sort of reverence for a moment, a mocking, placating sort of voice escaping him as he reached into his pocket and took something...a single sunflower...and then placed it into the girl's corpse's hand which he took inside of his own, pinning the flower there. With that he lifted her upper body from the floor with a renewed...perhaps greater strength...and began to drag her slowly behind him. "I know you're tired...but I can't allow you to sleep just yet," he spoke with a delighted sort of madness, a barely-contained evil which was permeated by his dark desires...and as he drug her face-down upon the floor, her body, ever-so-slightly, began to stir as well...though impossibly weak, as if hanging on by a single thread to life, "you and I still have work to do..."
He drug her body through the pools of blood just outside of the hidden room, the autopsy morgue inside of the Embryon base...and almost on instinct the girl's power began to cloak them, hiding them from the eyes of the unfriendly. And soon, as if they had never been there at all, the two were gone.
