Where would a toddler that was nuts about art goes for gifts in regards to her family? Damin didn't quite know though he was too tired to really think about it. The brown-haired vampire was currently walking around the mall, seeking a certain redheaded ragdoll child.

Eve herself was in her favorite of all stores and looking at some very promising art kits to make gifts with. She had decided to make all her gifts for christmas this year. She had snuck away from Damin to get his gift, a model plane kit with a promise of the ability to make a replica of the red baron's plane.

Herion on the other hand was glaring at every person that came near Eve. The little shadow was perched on her head and was starting to scare the hired employees in charge of the store at the moment. Thankfully Eve knew the store like the back of her hand and did not require the aid of one of them.

Eve turned at the sound of another voice, Herion following her motions with a glare at whoever was bothering her. His glare stopped when he saw Viktor and flew over, leaving his host alone for mere moments while she walked over.
The ragdoll smirked at her shadow and looked at Katia.

"Hi, and sorry about Herion's manners. Shouldn't he greets every host he meets." The ragdoll offered a hand to the girl, "I'm Eve."

Herion on the other hand, landed on the ground for a moment before bowing in greeting Viktor before flying up to his head. He had learned his lesson about bowing and flying.

"Heri!"

Eve smiled warmly, "Thanks, Herion suits his name actually. It's pleasant to meet you, Katia." The ragdoll did not quite understand how shadows came to be, but she looked at Luka. "Luka's adorable, by the way though I get the sense that he's a troublemaker sometimes."

Herion smiled at him, "Heri, ri!" He had been practicing during Eve's naptimes though he did not understand his host needed slumber.

"Shopping for art and models kits for presents." Eve had ditched Damin for a reason. He would never forget what she was getting everyone and she wanted her favorite uncle's gift to be a surprise. "Why are you here?"

Herion flew to Eve and landed on her head, perching there with cautious eyes on Luka. He even thought other shadows might be a danger to his host.

Eve smirked at the mention of sparkles. She knew the store like the back of her hand, even her mother would admit that. The girl tended to spend too much time in art stores. "I know where the sparkles, what color are you looking for this? I haven't seen the different colors of sparkles they have in stock, but there are many choices."

The ragdoll was in her element, "Please follow me."

Herion on the other hand, chuckled lightly at Luka. The shadow had hardly met others of his kind, but didn't quite understand why Luka didn't like him as it seemed that way. Herion got an idea for Katia and flew over to Viktor with an idea of a gift for her. There were doll house kits in the store. He had seen them while Eve was walking to the model kits.

"Heri, ri, Ion!" He flew towards the section, motioning for Viktor to follow.

Herion stopped in front of an entire aisle filled with do-it-yourself dollhouse kits. And those weren't the small and simple doll houses. They were the complex elegant kind with price tags big enough to suit the quality of the doll houses themselves. The little shadow had already known that Ivy had gotten two for Eve as gifts, but the assassin hadn't started to put them together yet.

He pointed to a kit for a bright pink doll house with white trim. "Heri io ion! Her?" He was curious if it would work as a gift idea. Herion himself didn't plan on getting it for Luka's host, but thought most little girls would welcome surprise gifts. Not Eve though. Herion knew his host seemed to seek out her gifts before her birthday or christmas morning.

He glanced towards Luka, wary of the other shadow. He knew Luka didn't like him, but didn't quite know why.

Eve led the way expertly to an aisle far from the dollhouse kits. The left side was devoted entirely to an rainbow of colors of sparkles. "Here we are, sparkles. You said pink and green. I think they haven't run out of those colors, pink at least."

Eve, realizing that Katia couldn't reach some of the sparkles, glanced around for a step ladder that the staff was supposed to leave in each aisle for customers to reach. She frowned when she didn't see any. She frowned more when she realized that like Luka, Herion was gone. "He better not be terrorizing anyone," she growled.

Herion nodded with a smile, "Heri, ri!" The little shadow hoped the little girl would indeed like the gift. He knew Luka didn't like him and remembered that giving gifts helped in making friends. He needed some male shadow friends. Altressa and Lilium were a bit too much sometimes.

He went to the ground and bowed to Viktor as a gesture of good bye for the moment before flying to the next aisle and smirking at a rather nice scarf set. He grabbed a set of green and flew to where he noticed Luka hiding. He offered the set to him, "Heri ri io?" He hoped this might help make Luka like him.

Eve offered the white basket she was using to hold some of the kits she planned on getting to Katia. "You can put the sparkles in here while we go look for them. I think I know where Herion is, but not Luka." Eve knew her shadow liked Viktor since he had gone to greet him. Perhaps Herion was with Viktor? "How about we go see your father and ask if he's seen Herion? Maybe Luka is nearby."

Herion crossed his arms, annoyed that the gift hadn't worked at all. Luka still didn't like him! He would like to have one friend that wasn't a girl though the shadow adored his host.

"Heri! ion?" He was wanting to know why Luka didn't like him. Had he done anything to the other shadow to make him hate him? Herion didn't remember doing anything like that.

"Your father seems pleasant, a little startling at first, but all right." Eve wasn't scared of others much though she had no father herself. "What has Luka been doing to make him like the shadow?" If Viktor was anything like Louie, then it was best to not mess with the man.

Eve nodded in agreement as tall men were kinda of hard to miss. "I think I heard Herion heading into the dollhouse section. At least the direction of his voice."

Herion tilted his head to the side, "Heri? ion, herio?" He didn't quite understand how he had gotten Viktor to like him and tried to explain that he merely greeted the man when he first met him like he learned to greet Eve's family members. "Herion, heri, ion!" He had done nothing else then.
