I'm recently getting into the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and I started to play this game not too long ago. At first, I thought I'd hate it, considering I'm horrible at strategy games that have the same playstyle. I regret thinking it now, and am currently addicted to it!
Anyone else play this game? If so, what team? Difficulty?

This is one of the few LOTR games I have not played though I have watched many gameplay videos about it. Looks like something I would suck at but looks like a great game.
If you want another really good LOTR game, I have one called The Third Age. Its a RPG (much like the good old Final Fantasies) BUT you are not any of the fellowship. You play as a kinda makeshift fellowship who follows the main fellowship around and helps them randomly (You help Gandalf fight the balrog, you meet up at Helm's deep etc..) The story follows a Gondorian named Berethor who is a captain of the Citadel. (before the game starts) You are at the battle of Osgilliath with Faramir. During the battle, ringwraiths attack and Berethor gets stabbed with a morgul blade. He flees the battle and leaves Gondor out of shame. When you take up, he gets attacked by ringwraiths in the forest (unbeatable battle). A she elf saves you and joins your party. As the game progresses, you get a Dunedain Ranger, a dwarf (I LOVE HADHOD!!!) , a shield maiden of Rohan (she has so many plot twists built around her...)and a rohirrim spear guy (for lack of a better term) If you wish to play it (I have the PS2 version) you can come hang out one day (its got COOP gameplay) and we shall join the battle and help turn the tide. lol

Oh, it is a great game. If you're on easy, then the enemies aren't THAT bad at fighting/rushing you. Sadly, the difficulty spikes are outragious! Other than that, its pretty good. I haven't finished all the movies, so I can't really tell you were the story takes place (as in timeline I mean).
I would come over, but I'm in West Virginia man lol. Maybe when I get back though.

...I think I've played this game before. Memories a little fuzzy since I'm loaded with chemistry equations right now. stare
But chances are that if it's a strategy game, I've most likely played it before in the past. That's how much I love the genre. 3nodding
