She was new... Zinkenite's eyes fell on the young woman with the strawberry blond hair and... hobby horse. He wasn't sure how he felt about her given weapon but it wasn't exactly like they could choose now was it. After all... he -still- had a sling shot. Still, she might have some information he could use for his bulletin board. It was -woefully- scant, though he did have to put up his OWN notes, he had just spent most of the time so far filing other people's. Besides he had to sort it down to the skeletal details for the board, there wasn't enough -space- to put everything up sad to say.
He approached her with brisk steps, pleased enough to notice she was on the petite side of things... at least until he drew close enough to realize that, petite as she was, she still stood roughly two, to two and a half inches taller than him... and that was AFTER his most recent growth spurt which pegged him cleanly, at last... at 5 foot tall. His eyes narrowed slightly and he sighed before addressing her.
"Lieutenant..." He said "I've a few questions I'd like to ask you..."

The new Negaverse Lieutenant was, so far, having a ball with her new duties. She could not get enough of this whole 'bad guy' thing, and wanted to be on the job at all times, though she knew that just wasn't possible. And anyway, if she was working all the time that would kill the fun of it, wouldn't it? She looked at Mr. Saddles, whose silence seemed to agree.
She grinned at the hobby horse, shaking her head. She still wasn't quite sure why a plush horse head on a stick was considered a weapon, but she liked him. He could be her silent minion, until she got a legitimate, real one.
She looked at her fellow bad guy in surprise as he, in her opinion, scuttled over to her. It wasn't every day she was taller than someone, though her boots certainly helped, and she smiled instantly.
"Questions? It would be my pleasure to provide you with some answers, then, Smalls."
She was still getting used to the whole 'command' layout of the group, and picking out who she needed to be respectful to and who she could be more casual with. In general, though, she liked to pal around with everyone.

"...." he stared at her for a long moment processing the nickname that she had just bestowed upon him. "CAPTAIN... Zinkenite..." He said icily before continuing. "Not... Smalls, not shortie or any other derogatory nickname regarding my height, thank you...lieutenant." He pulled a small note book and pen from his pocket "I'm looking for reports and descriptions of senshi appearance and powers, as much detail as you can afford please, thank you."

Whoops!
"Whoops!" She said, her words often echoing her thoughts only a moment later. She laughed, not looking too upset about him getting angry with her, just laughing it off like she would with any of her friends. It was a well practiced reaction though, generally, it worked better with people who actually knew her to be harmless as far as honestly insulting others went.
"I'm sorry, Captain! I guess I can't tell everyone apart just yet. Hey! I'll make it up to you some time, I promise. You can call me a boy if you want? People usually do, because of my hair." She smiled brightly, then watched him pull out his notebook.
"Uhhhh. I don't think I've met a Senshi yet. I mean, I'd know them when I saw them, right? No. Haven't met one. But! I do have a great plan for catching one when I do!"

"We aren't out to capture then Lieutenant..." He said with a small frown, no mention that he planned to have one ... 'purified' before the month was out. "If you see one, would you please note their name, height, approximate weight, nature of attack, flexibility of said attack, location, eye color, hair color, physical fighting style, and costume details?" He said snapping the notebook closed like the list of information he was asking was really quite trivial. "But please don't.. interview them for that information it's probably in our best interest that they don't know we're after it." He said with a small frown.
"....dare I ask what your plan for...catching one is?"

"Well, I mean capture them temporarily! You know? Then get rid of them. Mr. Saddles might cute, but he's not the best for bashing heads in."
She smirked, then listened to him list off all the things she would have to remember when she saw a senshi. She wasn't sure she could remember all of that about herself without a cheatsheet, so how was she supposed to...
"Right. Hey, I can do that. Believe me, I know a few tricks about fact gathering." Or at least she liked to say she did. She was, after all, a reporter for the paper, so stuff like this? She would just have to remember to bring something to write it all down in. That was a problem she had with some of her stories: she had suffered a common curse amongst reporters and was dependent on her notebook.
"Oh, no, if I tell you it won't be as brilliant when I do it!" She grinned at him. It was all in the presentation: she had to keep the allure of it.

"...Try hitting them with the other end." He said dryly, he thought he'd develop a nervous tick if he kept talking to her. There was something unerringly perky about her and yet at the same time... Well at the same time he suspected the light was on in the attic, but no one was home... Not that he'd ever say that.
"Right..." He said instead trying to resist the urge to face palm then and there.
"Do you have a captain?" He said praying by all that was holy that she did.

Painite stared at him for a long moment, mouth dropping open as if to say something, but she couldn't think of what it was. She pulled a face, realizing she had never thought about it like that, but not wanting to admit that.
She didn't want to remove all doubt that she was not the most... logical of people. Smart, yes, but only where she applied it. Her work as a reporter, or in the theatre, or in her plots and all the things she built. Common sense? Not so much.
"Oh! I do! Captain Sassolite. She's a lovely lady, if I may say so. Not that you're not lovely. Though you're not a lady. Hm. Hey! Maybe she can help you more with this information thing?" Of course, chances were good that she already had, but Painite wasn't letting that stop her from suggesting it.

"Ah... yesss.. please do, if you could pass on to your team and captain that I'm looking for as many and as detailed a report as can be given it would be enormously appreciated. Your captain can report it to myself, Captain Uranophane, Captain Scheelite, also collecting for me are Lieutenants Fayalite and Selenite...and General Obsidian has offered his assistance as well." He rattled off the names carefully and precisely and started pondering if it would be worth it to waste one of his teleports. Back away slowly didn't quite ring as a good escape method in this case, he could just imagine what it could be like to have her as a house guest...good lord.

Painite tried to commit the names to memory, switching into her reporter mode for a second during the effort. She nodded her head, glad he was good at enunciating, repeating each name under her breath so she might be able to recall them, or at least something close to them, later.
She was sure she would learn who all of those people were in due time, as she had already heard some of the names before.
"Alright!" She said at last, thinking she had them pretty well down now. Of course, if anyone asked her later she would wonder who Uranelite was. Practice, practice, practice. And hands on experience. That was all she needed.
