Hey everyone. This is my first video game review to post. The game is Final Fantasy for the NES. So let's begin.
Story.
You take control of four characters (whom you can name and set classes for) whose destiny it is to save the world from Chaos. Each of these four characters holds an orb that embodies the elemental power of the world. Along your journey, you meet many different kinds of people and fight many powerful monsters. From humans to dwarves, all races are present in this world.
Gameplay
This game has four different screens. The overworld map, which is a smaller representation of the world. This is the screen that you use to travel to different towns and fight random monsters. Then there is the town map. It represents whichever town you are in and usually has a number of equipment shops, an Inn and a Clinic. Then there is the dungeon screen. Much like the overworld screen, you will face random encounters while trying to make your way through a complex cave. At the end there is usually a powerful monster who must be defeated for you to gain a key item. Finally there is a menu screen. This is used to equip your party, use items, or cast spells.
The battle system in this game is a menu based turn system. You select what you want each party member to do and then they do it. Depending on classes, you can cast spells, flee, attack, or use an item.
Graphics.
For its time, Final Fantasy had great 8 bit sprites. The overworld looked immaculate as well and had several different kinds of terrain from grass to forests to deserts.
Personal opinion
Final Fantasy is the epitome of a great RPG. From the character customization to the great storyline, this game is a must play for any die hard RPG fan. There are a few minor glitches and issues with the game but nothing that takes away from the overall playability. The story is great and it sucks you right in from the very beginning. There are great plot twists that will leave you speechless and wondering WTF just happened.
The class upgrade is by far my favorite thing about the game. Once you get a specific item, all four members of your party "evolve" into a better form of their base class.
If I were to rate this game it would go something like this:
Gameplay: 9/10
Story: 9/10
Graphics: 5/10
Re-playability: 10/10
For an overall score of 8.25/10. Which ranks the game as YOU BETTER EFFIN PLAY IT!!!

So...critique my review so that my next one can be even better. I take POSITIVE critiquing well as all it can do is help me write better reviews.
