Sefas Minos The Master:Noctus the DecaviusAge: 23 Gender: Male Race: Human Personality: A rather eccentric, young scientist, Sefas has a tendency toward strange but otherwise amiable behavior. He avoids conflict as much as he can, making sure he settles things through negotiation... Most of the time. However, he has an ego big enough to fill each stilt on the city. His knowledge of the chemical makeup of a good deal of the world (at least as much as the current scientific advancements allow) has gained him not only a deal of intelligence but also an arrogant streak a mile wide. While coming off as pompous, he will usually prove that his pride is well-earned with his wits and intellect. While an adult, his childish pride in his own capabilities makes it so he still has some personal maturing to do... Occupation: Alchemist (An Apothecary, to be exact. Potions and Elixirs and Poisons, oh my!) Bio: With a decent education and a specialization in the field of chemistry, Sefas leads a financially comfortable life. He generally moves from town to town, selling his wares to Physicians, Priests, and on occasion to less reputable people. He came to the city of Tenepolis in the hopes of augmenting his knowledge on Alchemy to continue the ultimate goal of any pursuer of the art: Immortality. However, with the pressing Demonic encroachment in the lands outside the city of Tenepolis, Sefas may find himself augmenting a great deal more than his alchemical knowledge, the Enferantite in the region allowing for him to possess magical items... Weapons: He usually carries a 6-inch knife as an emergency measure held in his belt. He also carries belts holding vials of choking gas and smokescreens. However, the performance of these compounds is limited by rain, wind, fog, and the terrain of the area which these compounds are used in (Ideal conditions are dry, sunny, and calm with hard surfaces to break the vials on). The knife is steel and relatively light, though displayed in plain sight. The Choking Gas suffocates attackers, incapacitating the hostile individual long enough for Sefas to make a quick getaway. The Smokescreen, as the name suggests, evaporates on contact with outdoor temperature (At least 75 degrees Fahrenheit) and creates a cloud of thick fog to obscure the vision of any potential pursuer. Abilities: Aside from a great deal of intellect and the ability to easily learn most disciplines, he has no special abilities aside from his aptitude in chemistry and physics as of the current day. However, his Healing Compounds and his Energy Potions both have rapidly acting reactions to quickly mend injuries, numb pain and invigorate the consumer. Appearance: Standing at 5'9", Sefas has a slight, medium build and pale skin. Carrying himself rather proudly with a straight back and an almost condescending grin, he wears somewhat messy, long, violet hair with hazel eyes. He generally wears a deep, crimson robe made of silk. This robe is kept open and the shoulders are adorned with Hexagrams on the shoulders. He wears a black, linen shirt underneath. This shirt is wrapped in belts holding vials of a healing compound, along with his Choking Gas and Smokescreens. Anything I missed?: Wares Sold (All Prices Negotiable): Healing Potion- Quickly mends injuries on the imbiber. Side effects may include numbness, dizziness, and on rare occasion, temporary narcolepsy. Energy Potion- Invigorates the imbiber and, as the name implies, gives the user more energy. Can also double as a restorer/enhancer of Magic Power. Energy crashes may occur an hour and a half after use. Clarity Elixir- Allows the drinker to think with greater clarity, sharpening their senses and intellects for a period of time. May cause migraines, sleepiness, and on rare occasions, hallucinations. Smokescreen- When thrown, a cloud of smoke rise and covers the area, allowing the user to make a quick escape. Arsenic- Yep, this stuff is killer. Sold only on request and at a very high price. Choking Gas- Used against enemies, this non-fatal vapor can incapacitate enemies and allow for quick escape... Just make sure you don't breathe any in. More to come with discoveries! Some concoctions may be supplied upon request and the provision of materials. Inventory: 2 Belts of Vials Each Belt carries 40 vials- 20 vials of Healing Potion 10 Energy Potions 5 Choking Gas 5 Smokescreens

Salnesh JekhadarThe Master:TzelaelAge: 37 years Gender: Female Race: Shadow Personality: Motherly is a word that might be used to describe Salnesh, as she runs a strictly regimented militia and expects only the best from her troops. She looks over the other Militia members with an enormous dosage of tough love that one could expect from a military commander that remains rather close to her troops. She generally believes that hers is the authority that should be listened to, since she is convinced that she is most intimately acquainted with the problems that Tenepolis is facing. She looks upon outsiders generally with suspicion and, on occasion, resentment (particularly after that incident where the insane Pyromancer torched half the Trade District to find a single exile). However, she can look past these things and ask them for help, and while slow to make friends, those who are friends with her gain a very loyal ally. Occupation:Captain of the Gray Militia Bio:Generally, hers was the model of the average Shadow citizen of the rebuilt city of Tenepolis, living up in the towers and occasionally go to the Trade District to conduct business or get some water. For several years, she was bound to wed another Shadow, a man who was an Enferantite Prospector. On the day that the Demons infiltrated the City and slaughtered most of the citizens, though, Salnesh barely survived and her fiancé died in the struggle. Ever since, she had that memory burned into her mind of her fiancé dying and a good half of the city being destroyed, and she joined the Gray Militia and rose up the ranks rather quickly. She pushed for numerous reforms to give the militia more power, though they've been slow-going, as to avoid the city of Tenepolis becoming a military state... Though with the new outsiders entering the city, it may very well be that she might be able to exact her revenge through them... Region of Birth: Tenepolis (Rebuilt), The Black Wastes Weapons:Enchanted Enferantite Sword: A long, black-bladed sword that she keeps strapped to her waist. Each swing scrambles Magic to the point where the user can't control it enough to actually use it. Also provides an energy source for a Shadow Wielder to siphon off. Abilities: Power Siphon: She has the ability to sap away power from Magical Sources. Enhancement: She can use magical power she saps away in order to add to her endurance, her strength, her speed, or her perception. Her sword swings become faster and hit harder, as do her punches, kicks, and any other attack she may perform. Appearance: Salnesh appears to be a woman who isn't exactly in her prime, though she definitely has a motherly air to her, despite not actually being a mother. She keeps her hair tightly braided in a navy-blue tail that drapes down her back. Her body is covered in scars and burns from fights with Demons, and even got herself scorched by the flame of some nut((Selael)) who chased one of the exiles to Tenepolis. She's fairly attractive in a strangely simultaneously feminine and masculine manner, showing clear strength and a bit of tenderness, along with a fairly toned yet feminine body structure. She carries a black-bladed sword, made of Enferantite, as is her armor (which is open in some areas to allow some mobility). Anything I missed?: Armor: Also constructed of Enferantite and deflects magic. However, due to the cost of Enferantite, it was never a full-body armor, so it was cut off in some areas to provide mobility. Objectives: -Run reconnaissance through the outer regions of the Black Wastes to assess Demonic Activity -Crush the Demonic encroachments in the Black Wastes -Prepare Militia for a full-scale assault on the Abyssal Plain.

Selael ShalehemThe Master:TzalaelAge: 28 years. Gender: Male Race: Human Personality: Selael takes his life and those in it incredibly seriously. Meeting him, it's almost impossible to tell whether or not the man has ever enjoyed himself in his entire life. However, he can develop a soft spot every now and then, but first and foremost, he is a scholar of Aden and for the most part is no-nonsense. Although sometimes things can always change... But, thus far, he shows to be a cold, calculating individual who goes to any lengths to get what he wants done (He actually chased down someone who stole a Phoenix feather all the way to the Southern Region of Tenepolis, torching a good part of their slum-like trade district to find the thief). Occupation: Scholar, Pyromancer Bio: Born in a regimented routine of life in learning the secrets of the history of the Kingdom of the Phoenix and dedicating a good portion of his life understanding the secrets of the Phoenix itself, Selael had devoted his life to the arts of the Flame. As of late, Aden was becoming a thriving city and prompted Selael to begin actually interacting with the world around him, and now he would safeguard the city and its deepest secrets while pursuing the elusive Flame of Life. Weapons: Staff- Selael carries with him a large, metal staff with a wood stock at its head. This wood stock is usually covered in an oil-soaked rag and lit aflame to act as a torch and as a weapon. He can also use this staff to channel some of his Flame Magic. Abilities: Pyromancy- Learning it for several years, Selael is an extremely adept Pyromancer and is able to use fire for numerous purposes. His obvious uses are illumination in dark places and, of course, a means of attack. His flames do have limits though: As with any fire, it cannot be created in an environment with no oxygen. Rain, however, will not consume the fire in its conception, however large quantities of water being aimed at the flame or energy being sapped from it in any fashion will extinguish it. Heavy winds or even other fires can afflict the accuracy of his fire. Nevertheless, his flame magic is a considerably powerful force. However, he seeks to discover the secrets of the Phoenix which gave the town life and pursues a fire that can Mend and Create life rather than destroy it. Encyclopedic Memory- Selael can recall with near-perfect accuracy almost any element to do with the history of Aden. Appearance: Anything I missed?: Selael carries with him several tomes of Pyromancy Spells and some volumes on the history of Aden. In occasions where he is under great stress, however, he has to perform an incantation in order for his Flame Spells to be effective, or has to keep his focus in check. Incantations are used not as a means to actually use the magic, but as a way to have the user concentrate on the spell so he can actually cast it. He can cast spells without an incantation, but his focus has to be completely devoted to the use of the spell, which usually doesn't happen in battle. If he is in a combat situation, in order to use his spells, he uses the incantation "Ignus!" to summon his flames. Even being interrupted in saying the incantation won't disrupt the spell's casting as long as his focus is on the spell being cast. However, blows to the head or serious injuries are going to interrupt the spell and render it ineffectual, even if he does finish the incantation. The Flame of Life: A term used to describe the immortality of the Phoenix, the Flame of Life is something that Selael pursues. The Flame of Life may either be a means of attaining immortality or a way to create another Phoenix. In either case, seeking information on this is paramount to Selael. The Flame of Life is just as it sounds... A Fire, or more accurately a heated energy source, that actually generates life where it moves. It heals, it mends, it restores, and it acts much like a phoenix in many ways... This will be an important point in Selael's development.

Vernek Arberan The Master: Tzelael
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Personality: A rather mild-mannered individual, Vernek tends to keep his temper rather mild and remains a rather mentally stable person. He tends to be a rather sociable, amiable person who tends to be extremely likable... Save for occasional outburst of inexplicable anger that happens almost once every 5 days on the dot. His angry outbursts tend to have him break most objects in the vicinity for seemingly no good reason. As such, he keeps an ample supply of blunt objects to hit on nearby walls or the ground to vent appropriately.
Occupation: Spirit Medium
Bio: Vernek was raised in one of the port cities and learned of a rather interesting gift that, in his youth, proved to be quite a nuisance: The ability to speak to spirits. However, being able to speak to them means also being able to listen to them... Which has proven to be incredibly irritating and prompted him to learn how to filter out the Spirits that need to be heard and the ones that don't. He now uses his services as a means by which to help people find things. What exactly? Well... Usually it's kept quiet for whoever asks him.
Region of Birth: Forest of the Heart (On the side of a road)
Weapons: Walking Stick: Just what it sounds like. A Walking Stick. Branches: Used to hit things.
Abilities: Spirit Communication: Vernek has the ability to commune with Elemental and Natural Spirits. However, he does not display an ability to address Gods or Humanoid Spirits. His ability to persuade spirits allows him a limited amount of control over the Elements and a temporary ability to communicate with animals. Clairvoyance: Vernek can occasionally have sudden flashes of awareness of certain events. However, this usually happens alongside a nearly unconscious state and happens very rarely.
Appearance:

Anything I missed?: He generally charges 20 gold per day it takes to Divine whatever it is his customers ask. He lives in a small house just outside the Forest of the Heart.

Harkel VelomarkThe Master:TzelaelAge:54 Gender:Male Race:Human Personality:A rather out-of-place sight in the slum-city of Tenepolis, Harkel was once a Noble of one of the Western Kingdoms and still carries himself that way. However, bringing up some radical ideas about the King giving more power to the nobles in a manner that we would call parliamentary had earned him being booted out of the country and a rather infamous reputation as a power-hungry mogul... However, he also has an insatiable thirst for knowledge. After all, Knowledge is power. Occupation:Scholar of the Black Wastes Bio:Exiled from his home country a long time ago (longer than he cared to admit), he found himself ostracized in both his home and in the new home he'd find among the Exiles in Tenepolis. However, in his time here, he was earning a reputation as a bibliophile, taking as much knowledge about the southern wastes as he possibly could, piecing things together and finding clues about the history of this part of the world, particularly concerning monsters called Djinn and the countries around the southernmost part of this region of the world... As it stands, he is one of Tenepolis' foremost scholars... But is also infamously greedy and power-hungry. Region of Birth:Western Region Weapons:Earth Magic Staff: Allows Harkel to move the Stones and Earth beneath his feet, though only for a few minutes. Abilities: Photographic Memory: Harkel can perfectly recollect any fact he's learned previously. Appearance:
