Faiza had left behind the desert sands for firmer ground. It contained sparse amounts of grass and only the occasional tree, but Faiza liked it. There was no sand or grit to clog her wing joints, no trees to pull at them. Sure food and water was scarce in the area, but Faiza was tough. It was only a day or two towards plentiful prey, and there were watering holes nearby as well. Yes, she could see herself settling down in a place like this.((Do we wanna have them know each other, or do we want to repeat their introductions and do the baby drama over again?))

Anila kept moving. She was practicing running and launching into a short glide. She had to be careful the way she landed because of her BCR but she knew what she was doing. I may not know how to fly but I can do these run and glides well enough. Anila was exhausted but she did one last running start and managed a relatively good glide before coming back down to earth and needing a rest. Panting slightly she lay down and spread her wings to help cool herself.(Up to you. What'ever you think will work best for Faiza)

((I think fresh slate. Cause if Faiza already knows Anila she'll be more on guard and careful with her emotions this go-round.))
Hmmmm. Well the potential drawback of her flat home, it seemed, was little shelter. As evidence of the blue and purple Phim heading her way. Faiza knew instantly it wasn't Morin. For one the colors were wrong, and second the hair and tail instantly marked the newcomer as female.
Which made it worse, if Faiza's mind. The majority of her old flock had been made of females, and she was especially wary of them. Seika had been an exception, since it was instantly obvious she didn't have a mean bone in her body. Which such a child-like disposition, deception wouldn't have been a strong point for her.
Faiza stood there, shaking her head to clear her mind. She wasn't sure what she should be doing, but since she couldn't hide she settled for standing and looking as uninterested as possible.

Anila looked up from resting and noticed a phim. At least it looked like a phim. Knowing that she looks ridiculous running and then doing short glides rather than simply flying Anila blushes very embarrassed. I’m sorry I didn’t realize anyone would be out here. Anila looked the red Phim over, her hair was strange but quite fitting for the unusual Phim. Anila noted the other female’s wings and stared for a moment at them. She can’t fly with those. That means she’s like me and stuck on the ground. No she not like me she has a reason why she can’t fly. I’m stuck because I’m a failure even if Morin has been doing his best to teach me. Anila was spaced out in her own thoughts and didn’t realize she was still staring at the other female’s wings. Her left paw covered her right paw hiding the BCR from sight.
(very well ^^)

Faiza had been trying to have an open mind when she met this new Phim. Seika and Morin had proved that not all of her kind were horrible. That resolve faltered when she saw the female staring at her wings. The reasonable part of her mind would have told her this was a perfectly natural and expected part of meeting anyone new, but at the moment the voice of reason was unheard.
Faiza cast the vixen with her glowing red gaze. "There is no need to apologize," she said, voice calm and just loud enough to carry to the female's ears.

Anila jumped slightly at the sound of the other female’s voice, she realized that she had still been staring at the other Phim’s wings. Her ears lay back against her skull as she tried to stammer an apology for staring so rudely. The fur on her face couldn’t hide her blush. I-I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to stare so long. I just saw your wings and it got me thinking about my own situation and I got lost in my thoughts. I’m sorry. Anila stood up a bit too quickly after having been exercising so much. She flinched as she felt the pain in her muscles and laid back down deciding she would probably hurt herself if she tried to get up to leave. The BCR had rotated on her paw when she stood so that it only looked like a bracelet rather than a BCR to anyone looking at it. Anila lay with her paw curled toward herself to the BCR would remain unharmed.

Faiza's expression was still guarded, though a flicker of concern passed over her face when the Phim winced. Faiza had taught herself how to fight as an adult, but as a kit she taught herself how to heal. It had been.....necessary at the time. She had even preformed some healing on the flock, those rare few who would rather recieve treatment from a half-breed than risk infection.
"It is alright. I suppose I am used to it by now," Faiza replied, her voice dry. Her tail swished a little behind her, the only indicator of her discomfort. "Do you require treatment?" Even as she said it she felt silly. She had no herbs, no food, no water. One day she'd find a gourd fruit and hollow it out, to hold water perhaps. Humans did it, she didn't see why she couldn't manage somehow.

It was not alright. It was rude. Anila looked down still embarrassed. No I don’t need any treatment. I just have sore muscles because I’ve been practicing. Y-you see I am trying to learn to fly. Anila was embarrassed to admit this but she figured that she had better get the fact that she could fly out there as soon as she could. Looking up at the sky Anila waited to hear the other Phim’s laughter. It should start any time now. Unlike the red phim I don’t have a reason why I can’t fly. I just can’t I’m trying my best to learn but it takes time and I’m simply a failure. The painful memories of Rynn cutting at her for being a hopeless disappointment for a phim still burned.

Faiza shrugged. She opened her Daeva-like wings, using the complicated controls found in the harnesses. It had taken her some time to learn how to work them, and even now she still worked on mastering them. "I was born a ground-walker and will die one. I see no shame in being unable to fly." Perhaps the anatomically correct Phims or Daevas would feel different about this, but her grounded existance was one thing that never caused Faiza any torment.

Yes; however you were born a ground walker. I was born with wings so I am expected to know how to fly. The fact I cannot makes me ‘deficient’ to others who view me. I have been well versed on my shortcomings. Anila looked back down to Faiza surprised that the other Phim had not laughed at her. It was not something she was used to. Thank you for not.. for not laughing at me or… Anila couldn’t finish the sentence. The memories of being tormented by other foxes was simply to painful.
(will anila be a little sister rather then a mother figure?)

((No idea >.> I think we're just seeing where this goes for right now.))
Faiza could not meet the vixens eyes, and had to look down at the ground by her feet after only a second of contact. Something about the female resonated with Faiza, brought back old and bitter memories that she'd been trying her hardest to smash into nonexistance.
"Born one, but not supposed to be," she said, still looking at the ground. It should have been obvious enough to see that even if she didn't quite look like a Phim or Daeva, she certainly wan't a normal fox! She was far too big for that. Only her longer legs and hair marked her of the Phim variety, but it wasn't like it really mattered.

Anila’s eyes softened as she gazed at the other Phim understanding that the other’s life as a kit must have been hell. Anila knew enough of the cruelty of other foxes to know that lesson well. “It would seem neither of us has had the most ideal life growing up. My name is Anila.” Anila introduced herself so that if the other chose she would not have to comment on the painful past that so clearly affected her. I know I wouldn’t want to have to relive the past by having to discuss it in detail with another fox that I hardly even know. “ You wouldn’t happen to know how to make a balm for sore muscles would you? That I could use.”

"I might be able to," Faiza said, her voice a little doubtful. She looked around the flat lands where they stood. "Unfortunately I have no herbs with me, and my newness to this lands means I do not know what is best for healing around here. I would have to make a trip to the forest, and that might be too far away for it to really be useful."

What can I do to help you out? Are there any grasses around this area that we can find and turn into a balm? If you tell me what to look for I would be happy to help you look. Perhaps a root of some kind? Anila stood up. The BCR was still facing backwards so it looked like a bracelet. She was stiff and sore and didn’t really wanna walk around but didn’t want the other Phim to have to do it alone.

Faiza sighed and shook her head. "As I said I am unfamiliar with this area. What hurts and what helps are unknown to me. I would suggest maybe walking around, slowly. It will keep your muscles from cramping from a sudden stop of exercising, and possibly relax them a little. Slow walking, mind you." It worked for Faiza, but then she would admit the most she did was running. No jumping, and certainly no wings in her routinue.
