It's no secret, 1 out of every 6 American has been victim to rape or sexual abuse.

Rape affects everyone... and celebrities are no exception.

Abuse effects everyone, whether it's sexual abuse, emotional abuse, or physical abuse.

Johnny Depp (Johnny Depp has actually engaged in self-harm due to the excessiveness of the abuse.)

~ He was victim to physical abuse by his stepfather.

Zeenat Aman (Zeenat Aman was physically abused by her husband, and as a result she now has a fake eye because during the abuse he had injured her eye.)

- American Model, Media Personality, occassional singer, and Talk Show Host
~ She was victim to emotional "torture" by a man whom she dated.

I actually didn't know it either until I looked it up.

Johnny Depp slightly talked about being abused and engaging in self-harm in an interview, (I forgot the year, but I'll look it up and post it when I find time. e.e ) he also mentioned a time when a boy at his school would "violate his space / being" and he was told to hit the boy with anything he could pick up the next time he touched him again.

Chris Brown, (So I've heard) had actually just now began to publicly talk about being abused by his stepfather. Hence, (so he says) was the reason he lashed out and beat Rhianna.

Man.. I always figured Michael Jackson would be on that list though

I would have never guessed Johnny Depp or Tom Cruise would be on the list...
