This project wasn't so hard, taking turns with Yaya taking care of the baby was a good arrangement! Especially with Braum also in their little 'group', though it was a shame Samantha hadn't stayed long enough to hear Yaya's alternative to Braum's suggestion for the four of them. She hadn't seen the results yet from her storming out, but she knew they wouldn't be good...at least for Braum, she only hoped Nurse Cricket wouldn't try to drag her and Yaya into it as well. But while taking care of the pumpkin in turns wasn't so bad Junko had a feeling they were supposed to be working together on this not just taking turns the whole time. This time she had the pumpkin, cradling it carefully in her arms as she walked up to the demon dorms in search of her partner. Maybe she should invest in a skellyphone...since she didn't have one of her own. Oops.
So here she was at the gate, pumpkin in her arms and carefully pushing it open with her shoulder. Act natural, act natural! She couldn't act like she didn't belong here! She needed to find Yaya and not get kicked out of here for not being some high-class demon! She'd been here before but never on her own, she always had a demon accompanying her. But this time she was alone...gah! She had to find at least someone she knew quickly if she didn't find Yaya, she was so nervous being here by herself! Like she didn't belong or something.

Hadiyya was.. well, sleeping. Curled up in pillows and blankets that made up her bed, lost to the world as she dreamed. But not everyone within the lavish dorm room was napping. Soen, Yaya's adored scareon, was not only up, but restless. He loved his mistress, but the water beasty couldn't help the boredom that over took him when Yaya succumbed to comatose napping.
Thankfully, the marid had left the door cracked on her way in, no doubt so a certain raum could enter as he pleased, should he choose to. A nudge of his nose pushed the door open further, and the scareon made his way out into the hall. Darting past doors and between student's legs on his way towards the double doors that lead to the grounds.
He made it with little trouble, and was out onto the plush lawn within minutes. Of course, something curious was already there. A ghoul, a monster ghoul, carrying a pumpkin. He'd seen her before, and the vegetable, she was one of his mistress's friends. The scareon offered a clipped bark to the ghoul, prancing over to her to dance around her heels.

No matter how many times Junko came here, invited or visiting or what have you, she had a feeling she would never get over just how lavish and grand this building was. It was so beautiful! It made her wish she was a demon, but she did love her dorm room it was very comfortable for her. She gasped and jumped with surprise when she heard the sudden little bark, whipping her head around as she spotted the scareon. Oh! How cute! Junko breathed a sigh of relief, giggling and watching it dance around her feet. "Why hello! You're Yaya's, right?" She bent at her knees to get down low enough to balance the pumpkin on her lap and offer the little scareon a scritch under his chin, smiling and looking around for any sign of her partner. Hmmm...none! Maybe she was sleeping? It's what she did a lot of, right?
"Can you take me to her~? I wanted to see if she wanted to hang out and take care of Daidaii together for a bit." She could swear she felt something moving around in there, so maybe they could turn it in soon!

The scareon gave another enthused yap of a bark before spinning about on dainty feet. He liked the monster ghoul, she was nice. Prancing back towards to doors to the dorms, the little beasty waited for Junko to follow before slipping inside once again, leading the way up the hall and a flight of stairs to the water djinn's open door. Speeding to a run, Soen disappeared into the room, bounding over to the bed to leap up and onto Yaya's dozing form. The demon in question didn't even so much as sigh at the little scareon's weight now situated on her stomach.
Upon entering the room, Junko would find the walls draped n intricate fabrics with rich patterns. There were lamps, bottles, and braziers scattered about in various places. In the middle of the room was a small, low sitting table with pillows surrounding it. Opposite it, under one of the windows was Hadiyya's bed, a mound of blankets and pillows mostly hiding the demoness from view. Above it, on the window sill, was a nest with a few inky feathers scattered within and around it.

Junko giggled and watched the scareon whirl around and begin prancing away, quickly getting up to follow him inside. Good, good. Even if it was just someone's pet Junko did feel a bit more comfortable being led inside and not just waltzing in as if she owned the place; only demons could do that, and Junko was not on the same level as a demon. It'd be nice to one day be considered equal to one though. She was glad it didn't take very long to get to Yaya's room, following quickly behind the scareon until he disappeared into the room. Now she had to slow down and show a bit more respect! This was someone's room, someone's private domain, and as such it should be respected. Junko would normally have knocked on the door but as it was her hands were full, instead gently nudging it open with the side of her arm as she entered. Yaya was actually where Junko expected she'd be, giggling quietly as she once again gently nudged at the door until it was closed. Once that was all taken care of Junko slipped off her sandals, leaving them by the door as she made her way to Yaya's bed where the ghoul was sleeping. Hmm? Feathers? Where'd those--oh! Perhaps they were Braum's. But why were they by the window when there was a perfectly good door? Curious!
Now she was torn. To wake up the sleeping djinn or let her sleep and just leave? But...but she came all this way here! And no doubt someone would be upset about someone coming in their room while they slept and not saying hello or anything, right? That seemed the best argument for now as Junko set Daidaii down and sat at the edge of Yaya's nest of a bed, trying not to disturb her until she gently laid a hand on her shoulder. "Um...Yaya? It's Junko."

Soen slipped off the dozing djinn to sit beside her as Junko came to take a seat on the edge of the bed. Watching her curiously as she laid a soft hand on his mistress's arm. Tiny pink tongue slipping between blue lips as he panted softly, ear fins pricked. Seemed the scareon rather liked the monster ghoul.
The touch to her arm didn't really do a whole lot to rouse the demoness, but she did roll closer to the source of that touch, slinging an arm over Junko's lap absently. Snuggling into her hip before the docile tones of the other ghoul's voice penetrated down into her conscious. This wasn't Braum. A wave of tension save through the dozing girl's frame, announcing her waking to the monster beside her and the little scareon at her back. If not the raum, then who? She couldn't think of anyone else that frequented her room.
A soft whine of a groan proceeded the lethargic lift of the djinn's head. Lids cracking reluctantly to peer up at the figure she was now curled against. Pale skin, dark hair, and a pumpkin.. "Junko?"

"Geh.." Junko tensed and stared wide-eyed at the arm draping across her lap and then the marid snuggling into her hip, a deep blush rising to her cheeks. She still wasn't used to how affectionate and touchy Yaya was. What was she supposed to do? Was she supposed to...er...do something? If she was Junko had absolutely no idea what that was. The ghoul was very unaware of Yaya's moment of unease at not recognizing who was in her room, though if she had known she would have apologized profusely; she was coming in sort of uninvited, after all. Or at least unannounced. So for now she just waited until Yaya showed more signs of being awake, giggling softly at the little whine.
Junko tilted her head a bit and waved to the waking ghoul as she lifted her head, smiling warmly. "Hello, I'm sorry for waking you. I should've figured you'd be asleep right now." She apologized in a soft voice.
"And yet you bothered her anyway and snuck into her room like some creepy stalker." She remarked in a harsher tone which made Junko wince and glance back in Her direction.
"I-I did not. I just came to see if...maybe you'd like to hang out? Take care of Daidaii a bit? He's been making little noises today." She said as she pat the pumpkin, turning back to Yaya. "I didn't mean to come in unannounced, maybe I should have called first?" She felt bad for waking Yaya like this!

To her credit, half asleep as she was, Yaya actually did a decent job of listening. "No need to appologize," she murmured, letting her head fall back into the heavenly mounds of her pillows. The pumpkin situated on teh other ghoul's lap hadn't escaped the drowsy demon's notice, and she lifted her hand from Junko's legs to give the gourd a fond pat. "Hello Daidaii."
By now Hadiyya was actually growing accustomed to Her and her needling comments and colorful commentary, and she regarded Her with nothing more then an amused smile. She even replaced her arm over Junko's legs, fingers curling against her hip to offer the other ghoul a hug. "Nonsense, Junko is always welcome in my room."
Call? Blue eyes cracked open to peer up at the phone sitting on her bedside table. Had she even bothered to turn the ringer back on? Probably not. Mention of Daidaii made her turn her attention back to the pumpkin, brows twitching upward curiously. "Noises? What sort of noises? I hope he's alright." She lifted her head once again to look him over, noticed no flaws or marks, and promptly let it fall back against her pillows. "Sounds like a lovely idea to me."
And it did, just not quite yet. The arm curled over Junko's lap tensed again, and with a surprisingly powerful tug she pulled the ghoul further into the bed and down into the nest of blankets and pillows.

Yaya's assurance that Junko was always welcome cheered her up considerably, smiling a bit even as she was hugged in a very strange way. She still wasn't used to physical affection but even she realized how odd this hug was. She gently pet her friend's hair, both out of her own attempt to show affection and because Yaya had really nice hair. Junko's gaze followed Yaya's to her bedside table, blinking and tilting her head a bit. Was something wrong? Did it not work? "Thank you, Yaya. And yes...I don't..think they're bad noises? Just noises. Maybe he's almost ready to hatch?" That's when they turned it in, right? When it hatched! But surely Cricket wouldn't give them real babies...right? She...she wasn't that crazy! She couldn't be. No way. That'd be so irresponsible!
Junko looked down at her lap when she felt Yaya's arm tense up again. Was something wrong? If now really was a bad time Junko could le--"Gah!" Junko flailed a bit as she was suddenly tugged closer to Yaya on the bed, a deep blush rushing to her cheeks again. "Y-Yaya?" She did her best to get comfortable, swallowing hard and patting Yaya's arm. Guess she wanted to sleep some more. But Junko wasn't tired! Though Braum had said Yaya was often worn out, so that must have been what this was. She glanced over to make sure Daidaii was alright before she settled beside Yaya, still blushing a bit as she looked to Yaya. She'd never been like this with someone before, her family wasn't the most affectionate, so she wasn't quite sure what she was supposed to do.

Wrong? No, nothing was wrong. "No, I just probably wouldn't hear if it rang while I was sleeping. Not unless I had turned it up all the way." The marid yawned again, bright blues rolling up to glance at the ghoul now laying beside her, and she smiled. Pressing her forehead into Junko's shoulder as her arm curled a little more snugly around her waist.
She was indeed rather worn out, though that was honestly her natural state of being. She was used to it by now, but that didn't actually make it any easier to muster up energy. Still, she did her best when she needed to. Now, was not one of those moments though. Taking a small while to just relax sounded like just the right speed for the water djinn, and she liked Junko. The monster was sweet, polite, fun. She was finding that she liked to spend time with her, and it was about time Junko was introduced to one of Yaya's favorite past times.
"Hmm? Comfortable?" She blinked, though lazily. "So how long has Daidaii been making noises?" While she liked the pumpkin, and had grown accustomed to it being round, she would be happy to see it grown.. hatched. Whatever it was that pumpkins did. Parenting was tiring, but beyond that, she was eager to see how well She and Junko had done on the job.

This was...um...interesting. Junko was a little tense against Yaya as she was cuddled up against and held, her cheeks still flushed as intensely as ever. So this was it? Napping? She supposed she could do with a nap since she had been doing chores and things all day, keeping her room clean and working on her requests from Lilura, Kasumi and Sin; then there was helping Riley, and taking care of Daidaii when she had him. That part wasn't hard though!
When asked if she was comfortable Junko blinked and actually had to think. Was she comfortable? She wasn't sure, but she did know she wasn't entirely uncomfortable? This was just something she needed to get used to. She did her best to settle around Yaya similar to how the marid was holding her, draping an arm across Yaya's waist and brushing something soft. Huh? What was that? "It..just takes getting used to. And ummm I think just today. He's been making them since I woke up, anyway." She told Yaya as she carefully lifted her head to see what her fingers had touched. Whoa! She didn't even notice this before!
Yaya had so much gorgeous hair.
Junko's eyes widened a bit as she gently brushed her fingers through it, twirling a bit of it around her finger and then letting it go. Wow! She couldn't wait to have this much hair! "Your hair is so pretty, Yaya. I didn't realize you have so much of it."

For a moment or two the demon lass waited. Aware of the tension singing through the other ghoul's frame, though not sure why exactly it was there. While Hadiyya knew that not everyone was so very comfortable with casual touch as she, it was a hard notion to wrap her head around. Awkwardness or shyness, where this matter was concerned, simply didn't effect her. Soon enough those the monster had rolled on her side, almost mirroring the marid, and Yaya gave a contented little sigh. Rubbing her cheek into her pillow as Junko moved about her, speaking.
"I think perhaps he wants out? Not that I blame him. I imagine the inside of a pumpkin to be quite cramped." Yawning, the ghoul pressed her forehead into Junko's collarbone as the other brushed fingers through impressive lengths of ebony hair. A delicate little shiver raising goosebumps along her arms.
"Thank you," she mused, giggling sleepily. "Hair is something I have plentiful abundance." It was a pain at times to manage, but she loved the length.
A sound from the foot of the bed drew Yaya's attention. Head lifting so she could blinking curiously at the pumpkin that was resting near their feet. There was a thump, and the gourd itself shuddered with the impact, as if it were coming from inside. "Junko, I don't mean to alarm you." Her voice was even as she spoke, and she smoothed a hand along the monster's hair. "But I think Daidaii is getting impatient. Perhaps we should take him to see nurse Cricket."

It just took getting used to! The most Junko had ever done before now was hold Daisuke's hand for a little longer than necessary! Oops. Yaya made a good point though, maybe Daidaii did want out. She hummed thoughtfully at that, trying to figure out if she could remember back that far. Was being in a pumpkin cramped? No way, Junko couldn't remember that at all. Oh well. "Maybe. Though I think we can't take him out until we turn him in to Nurse Cricket, can we?" Maybe it was time. She continued to gently play with Yaya's hair, twirling it around her fingers loosely enough so that she could still thread them through without knotting or tangling it. So beautiful! She wanted hair like this!
She giggled along with Yaya and nodded in agreement. "I want hair like this. My mother and grandmother have this much hair..I'm still growing mine out." Considering how much hair Junko had already that must have been interesting to hear.
The sound startled the monster ghoul and she jumped just a little, lifting her head as well to peer down at the pumpkin. Gah! W-was he trying to break it open? Wow. Yes. That would be wise. Junko closed her eyes for a moment and tilted her head into the hair-petting, moving in a way that would save Yaya from brushing her fingers too close to Her and risk being bitten. She did love to bite; the reactions it garnered amused Her. "That sounds like a good idea. Um...after we turn him in, can we come back? I'd like to hang out with you some more." Junko smiled toward the marid, looking hopeful. Would the demon still want to be her friend after this project? She hoped so! She was so nice!

Reluctantly unwinding herself from the other ghoul, Yaya slipped a hand between the back of her neck and the rest of her hair, sweeping it forward over a shoulder so she could carefully split it into threes. A quick braid would have to do, she didn't feel like taking the time necessary to put it up properly. Working the impressive lengths of ebony silk one over the other, Yaya glanced over at Junko with a curious little twitch of dark brows.
"Of course we can, if you want." She'd actually gotten the impression that Junko was a little uncomfortable, but perhaps she'd been wrong? Pleasantly wrong. The djinn rather liked the monster's company.
The length of the braid when complete lay over the marid's lap and swung down to brush the floor with soft tip. It was easier, for sure, but didn't look half so elegant.
"I suppose we should go then?" Getting to her feet, she offered a hand down to Junko to help her to her feet, then looped the length of her braid around her shoulders twice so it wouldn't drag on the floor or tangle in her legs when she walked.

It was true, Junko was fairly uncomfortable at first but she was coming to find she liked the affection. She didn't get it very often or...ever, so it was growing on her. It made her feel good to be hugged. She smiled brightly when Yaya agreed to keep hanging out after handing in their project, looking absolutely elated by this. "I'd love to! Of course!" Junko looked excited now, watching as her new friend braided her long, beautiful hair. That was the kind of hair Junko wanted. Junko wanted long, beautiful, soft, thick hair just like that. Sure, it gave Her more to work with, and it'd be a lot of hard work to take care of that much hair but...she wanted it.
"That sounds like a good idea." She nodded, turning to get up off Yaya's bed with Yaya's help, reaching down to pick up Daidaii and hug him against her chest while Yaya messed with her hair some more. When the marid was ready Junko gave her a little smile and shifted Daidaii in her arms. "Let's go, then." Junko chirped, following alongside Yaya out of the room and to Nurse Cricket's office.
