LI is filled with over-emotional whiners, people who confuse love with lust too much, and people who try to controll others by telling them what to do (they call this "advice").
There's only a few people in there who are nic, and who give advice to people rather than flaming them based on the problem they are having.
One of the first days I had this account, I posted a thread in there about my old school (the public high school), and people kept flaming me and saying that I should just do the work they give me, no matter how hard or easy it is.
And then came one person who obviously didn't read anything but the last page of posts, he posted "Pay attention and maybe you'll learn something, dumbass." I had half a mind to take his quote and PM it right back to him.
