So, holy hell. The plot in this guild is really, really confusing to catch up on. Like holy balls! Jesus christ, it's complex. Mostly because it's almost impossible to read on because you have to know where everryone came from and went to and what happened when and holy s**t.
So that's why this thread is here! As the resident knower-of-plot, I'm fairly well in tune with everything that goes on. If you have a question, please ask it here!
My next post will deal with the current setting to give any beginners some loose context.

The Setting! The most important part, which is most critical to understanding things! If you don't know it, you're gonna struggle.
So, here we go! Within this world, you are (most likely) a member of the Guild of the Sun. The guild of the sun is the largest of the normal guilds. They are, in total... Sun, Moon, Morning Star, Blazing Fire, Shimmering Ice, Roaring Thunder. There is also the Guild of Rebirth, which serves as a medium. It stands above all the guilds and acts as sort of a central government. All guilds take orders from Rebirth and it also has the power to call them all together.
The Sun is the largest guild by far, being the primary source of problems and conflict. Most great things come through the guild, and it's also by far the most advanced entity within the universe. Technology exists and electrical power is present in a number of areas. Moderately advanced medical technology is present within the hospital and it is often suggested that there's a standardized education system. The extent of technology and the like has never been explicitly stated and is likely to remain vague for the entirety of the continuity.
The Moon is the other significant guild, being the primary antagonists. Originally, it was run by Selena. Selena eventually defected to the Sun for a variety of reasons, but her old guild was taken control of by an Espeon named Mordred. Mordred is likely to be a future antagonist, but the Moon Guild has yet to make a move for unknown reasons.
The other guilds (besides Rebirth) are fairly standard, much like the Sun. Each guild has an obligation to accept requests and fulfill missions. These missions are typically more "critical" than the ones seen in the games and are often matters of life and death, or at least something very important to the individual who requested it.
And also, here is some simple plot. This is the sort of bare-minimum you need to know to get what's going on.
Originally, the Guild of Rebirth served as an antagonist. The Guildmaster named Archer intended to kill everyone in order to make the world anew, and better. He was stopped through the efforts of the guild and a Gardevoir named Alfred. Later, Alfred (along with others) met with Arceus. Arceus named him the new master of Rebirth, saying it could be "only him".
You see, Alfred holds within him the God of Destruction. In spite of this, he has shown himself to be a strong, smart and capable mediator between the guilds. At this time, another task was set out to Solaris.
A Weavile named "Nico". He was a perverse, mutated half-dead existence that had troubled the guild much before. He was affecting the "balance", a core part of the universe. So the guild was tasked to destroy him. Since then, they have met opposition from a variety of sources and battled many enemies. The strangest part of it all is that many of them bore a unique pendant and supernatural strength.
It was recently that all the guilds were attacked. Alfred was left in a coma and most of the guilds were destroyed with heavy losses. At the moment, the masters of each guild have gathered for a private meeting to discuss the nature of the attacks. A great many things were revealed at that meeting, although only to the highest ranks; those Pendants were born from Arceus. The world itself was on the brink, and to save it they would have to wage war against god. Arceus's original power had been split into Suecra (who resided in Alfred) and Creaus (who resided in a Lopunny). He was too weak to control the damage that had been wrought; thus, the only way was to kill his soldiers. The "Elite", as they are called.
If the pendants could be gathered, the power he imbued them with could be returned. And if Arceus could be killed, his dark half Suecra and corrupted light half Creaus could be returned. The result would be a completed Arceus; a being capable of sustaining the universe. In spite of the heresy of what was suggested, the guildmasters agreed as there was no other choice. If they idled, the world would collapse on it's own.
Since then, the public has only been informed that those who bear the pendants are dangerous. The battles have continued. The cure (or rather weapon) to kill Nico has been found, and new allies have been gained. Namely, the Guild of Seasons that inhabits the Five Islands.
The Five Islands was long ago sealed away from the mainland, having angered Arceus. That seal, however, was broken in his weakness and a member of the Elite attacked. He was successfully fought off and nearly killed. He managed to escape with his life, but the pendant was left in the hands of the guild. The co-leader Diane was so grateful she gave the guild a single tonic known as "Audino's Grace". It could heal any physical injury.
Much to the objection of those present, Alfred's wife took the tonic by force and used it on him. The result was a mostly healed Gardevoir; his wounds closed up, and he regained consciousness. Unfortunately, the tonic set off a cascade of reactions that is slowly killing him, leaving the guild in a precarious situation; should he die, Suecra dies, taking the universe with him.
At present, the guilds continue to battle on against a seemingly insurmountable foe.

I have a question, can you answer what happened to Orion and what made him go berserk and look like Arceus? A good question! The event in specific that set him off is towards the bottom of this page. It was shortly after one of the attacks by Ebony (this one happening in the Guild Exchange). Alfred and Tolin were both hospitalized. It is here, with none present besides the old Scyther and a quiet Rhyhorn that he stated a simple "truth" of his own belief; the world was going to end and they could not stop it. Even should they halt the balance, Alfred was doomed to die in short order. With him, Suecra would die. The world would collapse and all would be for naught. Tolin's strict belief that he would be able to repair the world set off a chord with the Espeon. He proceeded to gather every relic he could. Everything that would postpone (or possibly even stop) the end. He wished to end the world quietly. If they struggled, the common creature would find out and chaos would ensue.
As for the Arceus-like appearance, that's heavily implied on two occasions. One is immediately in the hospital (page 82) and the other is in the lookout. (page 4-5)Orion talking about Semi-legendaries ...Yet, they are WRONG. Their entire existence is one big mistake. With each child born to a Semi-legendary the balance begins to shift once again! Exactly 83 years ago Arceus sought out a way to correct this. He believed that if he could 'create' a Pokemon that could not only SENSE and track down these abominations, but have the power to destroy them then the balance would be restored. He learned that making such a Pokemon would shift the balance even further for it was as though he was creating a Semi-legendary of HIMSELF, but he believed it would, in the end, cause more good than bad. He was wrong and what occured was a Pokemon who could use the powers of the gods himself, but..after age twenty he began to lose his mind and the trait of his powers, but not his Godliness, was passed down through the lines to his children..." As for in the lookout, it's shown in his appearance along with his knowledge of the blade. Orion is, in fact, the pokemon created by Arceus.
In the end, Orion has only vehemently tried to save the people from suffering.

Who are Suecra and Creaus? (Already know obviously, but just adding on to BBC for new/still confused members.)
Nnggh conners why are you bothering me with this I was gonna stick it in the setting. ;_; <3
Suecra and Creaus are, essentially, Arceus. That is, when Arceus created the world, he sent down his "light" to bring s**t around. This cast the "shadow" which became Suecra (the dark god.) That light, for whatever reason (no doubt seeing what it created) fled and became Creaus (the light god.) Arceus remained, stripped of much of his power, as the keeper of the balance; hence his ability, "judgment". He does not act for the good of the world or the bad; he merely wishes to sustain it.
Suecra, on the other hand, wishes to see the ground burn to ash. Creaus would originally have been a benevolent god, but the issues with the balance collapsing have corrupted her and turned her violent. She now roams the lands killing "sinners" for the "better" of the world. She's so thoroughly corrupted that she even attempted to kill Alfred, when doing so would destroy the world itself.
Suecra is tied to the mortal body of the Gardevoir known as Alfred. It was done as a pact for for partially unknown reasons. Arceus placed Suecra there for as-of-yet unknown reasons, whereas Alfred's father placed Suecra within him to extend his lifespan. Alfred is his own person, but Suecra sits inside of him... kind of like a demonic possession. Due to Alfred's strong willpower, he has been able to consistently resist Suecra's influence ever since the mind-weakening medallion was removed. Prior to this, Alfred lost control several times and injured many guild members, with a single death on one occasion.
Creaus was placed in an anonymous Lopunny. Presumably, said Lopunny was unable to resist the corruption. To the best of our knowledge, her mind perished long ago. It is speculated that Darkrai placed her there in order to manipulate her.

We know everything. We read everything that goes on in this guild, the plot, the conversations. Thing is, sometimes I get confused as to what my characters know. What would normal guilders know about all this 'Arceus is weak and the world is going to go KABOOM or whatever' stuff?
Also, this is probably not true, but are you going to bring Nico back? Not literally, since, you know, he's dead, but... I think somewhere he said something to his ladyfriend Milly about having a kid... so is he or she going to show up as a future enemy or helper or something? {{You killed off one of my favorite characters, how dare you TT _ TT}}
Generally, the information is kept as secret as possible. There's a select few exceptions to this rule (some NPC, some PC) but by and large the guild populace as a whole does not know what's going on. It was kept this way intentionally by Tolin (who is presently the guild master of Rebirth) in order to prevent a possible panic. If the guild doesn't know exactly what they're fighting, they don't know what to fear. In general, the normal guild members know...
- The necklaces are dangerous and those wearing them much more so. - The necklaces need to be removed to significantly harm anyone wearing them. - Normal pokemon wearing the necklace will eventually die or go insane (this has not been explicitly stated to the guild members, however it has been seen multiple times in the story)
In an effort to stem a possible loss of morale and a possible panic, Tolin may have made the situation worse but his goal was certainly successful. Many guild members are scared or worried, but not nearly as much as they would be. Whether it can be considered a good choice on his part in something subject to both debate and personal opinion.
To my knowledge, Nico won't return in any way shape or form. As far as I know, Tommy (Ahkmill) has no plans to run a story arc in the future and I don't believe we have any space planned out for him to do so. He might run some bonuses or some regular chapters, but I don't think he'll have a dedicated arc.
