From what she experienced on her homelands in the Tropics, her winter did not prepare her for this mainland winter at all. The nights were steadily getting chillier and chillier, and the days were carrying over that chilliness from the night. She remembered that back in her homeland around this time of year, it would be warm and comfortable. Instead, the weather was definitely enough to make her wish for warmth and maybe some extra fur on her body. Nonetheless, it was an interesting change, but she did not know how to adapt to the change. Her current home by the sea offered a little more warmth than inland, but she could not find as much food as she would like on the beach.
Her gaze turned to look more inland. She had not ventured that far inland in fear of what may lie inside. If she were to look for food, she would not even know where to look. Feeling the telltale sign of being hungry, she decided facing whatever lies inland is better than starving and freezing herself to death. Taking one glance back to her seaside home, she ventured forward to the unknown. Her hazel eyes flickered about for anything, whether it be other Soquili, two-leggers, or food.
