Its that time of year again and around Christmas we can look forward to the usual storyline centered holiday event. Lots of guilds hold threads, art give-aways and so on. So why not do the same this year. So lets get started on exactly what you guys want to do for the event and be ready by the time its here. =D
I'll be collecting apps for the thread game starting now till next Saturday the 11th 10pmTuesday the 14th 10pm.
Send the apps to me. If you send them to the Gamemaster or Kroo mules I will not see them unless I randomly decide to check them, which you should not rely on. Its usually best to send apps to the person posting the thread unless they say otherwise.
Lets plan for this event! =D
Edit: The game does NOT need to be Christmas themed.

A few more suggestions about the event thread game:
It should be a hybrid of a real game and a mini game meaning you can have 1-3 updates a day if you want. Only because the event and its forum may not be open for a two full weeks that it can take to run a full game.
GM as a team so you can run a faster game just so you don't have to be around all the time. This allows the game to run a little faster with more than one update a day and there can be someone around to keep the thread active.
Tie it with art giveaways or some random number game where people can win something.

Also the reason I started this planning thread early: I'm barely going to be around during Christmas, if at all because, I'm moving (again) that weekend. So hoping you guys, and closer to the event, the new crew, can get some stuff planned because I'm not going to be able to help out with anything those days.

I'd try to apply for a thread game, but I JUST ran the last game, and I don't think I'm allowed to run 2 games in a row. And I'm not sure how good I'd be in a thread game, because it might be more difficult to keep tabs of things, and people might get "confused" again.
But if anybody who's planning on running wants to use my game idea, and just make it a thread game, I still have all the role descriptions, and PMs, and like 3 updates I didn't use!
JUST BE SURE TO HAVE SOMEBODY ON YOUR SIDE!! Because if you don't have somebody to vent to, then you're SCREWED!
BEING GM IS FUN!!! It's good to be creative some times! It helps you have something COMPLETELY different to focus on, while your life just kind of swirls around you, as it usually does this time of year! xd
