History: R'ome was born as Romuel, a younger son of some minor cot hold. His family was far from well to do and quite honesty found themselves struggling more often then not, is father was a farmcrafter and his mother made some half hearted attempts at being a weaver until too many children forced her to become little more then a stay at home mother.
R'ome has several siblings, three older (2 brother and 1 sister) and 1 younger (sister) and as such was never really in line for any sort of inheritance or land from his family - for the most part he was expected to make his own way through life when he got older.
And he grew up knowing it. Romuel spent much of his time helping the small holds healer...the beastcrafters..even the smiths when he got the chance all in an attempt to find some clue as to what he was 'meant' to do in his life. He refused to consider growing up and struggling like his parents had and likely all of his siblings would. No he was going to make something of himself, somehow..someway.
Unfortunately nothing quite seemed to fit Romuel, the animals all hated him (or it felt that way when they behaved in a difficult manner) so beastcraft was out , his skill in the forge was...well lets just say he didn't have an eye for such things and the third time he gave someone the wrong herbs the healer just wouldn't let him help anymore.
Romuel was undaunted in his quest however and it was while he was seeking options - as a fisher, or leatherworker...or anything he could find a way to try out - in one of the larger holds that the search rider came and Romuel found out what he was meant to do.
It was so obvious really..he was meant to be a Dragonrider. He was of course quite confident that he would impress and devoured all the information and knowledge he could on dragons, his focus was entirely..100 percent on dragons and their riders...unless there was a girl around. But hey everyone has their faults right? He spent several hatchings returning from the sands alone before at long last the bronze he was sure he was destined to impress arrived...except it turned out to be a brown.
And a lack a daisy one at that. Their pairing at first glance had everyone scratching their heads in some ways...though it made perfect sense in others and while some adjusting was needed by both and their first few months together were a bit rough..they got through it. Though they never managed to get as far as Romuel...now R'ome had wanted them too, not even wing second..but hey, they were in a wing and he was a Dragonrider...you couldn't make much more of yourself then that.
Appearance: R'ome is what some women would call good looking and other's would call 'striking' as he verges just a hairbreadth below being too strong featured to be considered truly handsome. He has dark, nearly black curly hair which he keeps fairly short (though long enough to run your fingers through because the ladies loved that), expressive hazel eyes and skin that seems permanently tanned.
Personality:
R'ome is a focused and driven individual - some people might says he's a bit to focused, in fact while he's very good at doing one thing at a time and doing it well..he often places so much attention on that one thing he forgets about anything else he has to do. he's prone to over stressing, over analyzing and over working himself and while he's generally a fairly good tempered person frustration after long hours can turn him into a snappish surly well child would be the best way to describe it.
It's a good thing Wasath came along to kick him in the behind and get him to relax once in a while huh? Of course he had his stress relief before Wasath too - in the form of women, R'ome will drop anything at hand for the chance to woo a pretty girl, he likes to think of himself as a pretty good womanizer too - and he doesn't really mind turning them into just another notch in bedpost either, this is one part of life where R'ome and Wasath tend to agree.
If only the damnable dragon would get off his lazy behind and make something more of himself - R'ome is almost constantly trying to urge Wasath along - move quicker,eat faster...and for stars sake don't take another nap! In fact this pair seems to bicker as much as they do anything else though it's tempered down from all out fussing at one another to a sort of fond best friends who don't see eye to eye on everything over the years.
If anything, the two might just be coming into their own as Wasath learns to hustle after goals just a little bit more and R'ome seems to be relaxing just a fraction...when no one's looking.

Dragon - Wasath
Personality - Wasath is a dragon who enjoys the pleasant things in life, all pleasant things - including the female gender, sleeping in and good food, it's not that he doesn't care so much as he doesn't see the point of caring if you don't enjoy yourself along the way. Why save the world if you don't love it ? He's a rake of sorts though without the ill intentions. He doesn't want to hurt anyones feelings by chasing life's wonders but he's not going to deny himself just because others are a bit uncomfortable either.
In fact he thinks the whole lot of them are silly for feeling that way, why shouldn't everyone enjoy themselves? Eat, Sleep and make Merry are Wasath's goals in life and while he can be prodded to hurry when it matters and he certainly seems ambitious enough when theres a female on the line it's unlikely he'll ever rise very high in the ranks - or ever want to. Too much responsibility and too little time for fun come with such positions. no he's perfectly happy lolling about and relying on the others to handle all the boring details.
