Are you having trouble remembering our events? Well, sign up for PMs with Symya and calls from me through Skype!If the Guild Announcements work fine for you, don't worry about adding Symya. She'll only send you the same thing pretty much.
But with Skype, I'll call you really close to the event to remind you, and if enough of us are online, we may start up a random event, so make sure you're clued in by adding

Good gracious, would this help me. I have Skype running 24/7, so you should be able to try and get a hold of me that way, no matter what. I'm not home 24/7, though, so your messages may go unanswered for a bit... sweatdrop

I try my best to make events, so even a few hours in advance would be nice (so I'm not out of the house when they happen)

Nothing, I'm not even sure if you have to have an e-mail account. In order to make calls you must have a microphone, but there's IMing, too.

Skype doesn't require a microphone, unless you plan on participating in Voice Chats. Even then, you only need a microphone if you plan on talking, but I'm guessing you could've figured that little quirk out on your own. sweatdrop
Skype is just a chat program, essentially. It allows you to set up chats between any number of users, as well as supporting the Voice and Video chat options. The system requirements are very low (though they get notably higher if you expect to use Voice or Video chat between multiple users), really only requiring an internet connection (which I think you have wink ) and a compatible operating system - which means Windows XP, Vista, or 7, or... Whatever Macs have. whee So long as your system isn't significantly out-of-date, you should be able to run Skype just fine... 3nodding
