Name: Natalia
Nicknames: Nicknames? Those are for companions right?...say her name slow, linger at the end and you will have yourself a friend for life. If you catch my drift. ;}
Gender: Female, although...well, you'll see.
Age: Looks around 17. True age is unknown, even to her.
Faction/Race Monster/Were-lemur (dun Dun DUN! As an aside: Natalia has a Russian accent, although it is not native to her kind. Somewhere along her travels she must have picked up on it and...the end.)
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual - LOVE KNOWS NO BOUNDS.
Personality: *note: Natalia's were-lemur form takes on a differing personality, but this is only temporary until she gains total control over it.
A dash of sultry seductress, a smidge of dark humor, a sprinkle of chivalrousness, a pound of gentlemanly finesse, and you will have yourself a delicious, promiscuous snack; Natalia.
Pros: Affectionate, clever/witty, curious, outspoken
Cons: Unruly, vengeful, jealous, judgmental
[Flamboyant]: Oh, darling do you have a quick and charismatic tongue. Careful what you say around Natalia, for the slightest hint of malice, or a subtle nudge toward sexual interest will steer the girl in every which direction; all of which are expressed vibrantly and with not an ounce of regret on her perfectly pale countenance. She has her moments of being cool and debonair, a sort of boyish charm if you will, but for the most part expect an easily, hyper-stimulated monster that is overly expressive...whether or not you are looking for such emotion.
[Confident, blunt]!: Her desires are made clear through her confidence, to the point that it may rub some individuals in the wrong way--but is there a wrong way to rub a person? Not for Natalia...she knows all the sweet spots and is trying to show you them now, WHOOPS. It is remarkable, really, how one woman can so easily say what is on her mind without a strand of hair on her tongue...but it just so happens that flagrance is the monsters weapon of choice when it comes to verbal attacks, and at times it seems purposeful and deliberate, whereas at others...accidents just happen. Mind you, she could care less what kind of pain her bluntness may inflict, since those who give her reason to hate will in turn know just how it feels to be hated. So take THAT and shove it up your a**!
[Affectionate]: Her constant travels offered much more of a reward than it did consequence. The girl is experienced in a lot of things...and by a lot, I mean a-lot!...but, personal boundaries? Certain social norms? Knowing specific limitations? These are not some of her stronger suits...perhaps she has a good reason? Who wants to live life fitting in anyway? Expression of one’s self is the key to being truly content--THUS, if Natalia wants to touch your breasts because they look so plump and luscious...SO BE IT. A slap in the face, a quick blush and she's off to the next set of knockers...What? She's overly curious and extremely friendly.
[Friendly]: Be weary of how close you get to this monster since she makes it a bad habit to become overly protective and a jealous friend/lover. But, if you insist, you can look forward to fun and unpredictable times ahead, the stronger the bond forges between you and Natalia. Usually she finds friendship in the boys she encounters more so the girls, but as is in her nature; picky she is not. Willing to stick out the flirting? Up for the challenge of keeping Natalia off your pant-fly? Then perhaps here you can find a humorous and loyal companion. She devotes her time to these people as best she can manage, so long as a sweet looking chicka does not happen to stroll on by, and will stand up for them in her own...unique ways.
[Intelligence]: ...Anyway, all in all Natalia is a bright bulb. Considering her upbringing, she sure as hell has taken one giant leap for...her kind. Or at least herself. Although she does not take to studying as most do, as in she rarely does it at all, her efforts in school should not go unnoticed! Natalia will be in every class every day, on time to make up for her bad habits. She aims for perfect grades and when she fails to do so, her self-loathing does enough damage to make the next time around ten times better. Her memory is outstanding for how off the wall and here one minute, gone the next she can be...it astounds most of those who know her actually and although she FEELS as if she could use her looks and smarts to get away with cheating, a sort of self-fulfilling prophecy lies within that constantly urges the monster to prevail over chaotic odds. Or...well certain, academic odds.
[Rebel]: Outside of school, Natalia thinks highly of herself and believes that the rules set out for other people can be manipulated to suit her needs. Laws + Natalia = broken. Often. If her friends happen to get themselves into some trouble, you will likely find Natalia there trying to smoothen out the misunderstandings and coerce the accuser into forgetting anything ever happened...When her antics fail, Natalia is not excluded from punishments where they are due despite her beliefs. However, how she goes about them is another story entirely! Serving her time with dignity and...class, of some sort, she's the kid who will take a punishment in stride, making an example of the teacher who tried to make an example of her.
Why did they enroll at the academy? Generally: Natalia sticks around the academy for the social encounters and intellectual conversation. Status is very important, and keeping up with one is much more of a challenge then some might think; be it good or bad.
FEAR reasons: She has always been self conscious about her 'ability'. For starters, as fluffy as her lemur physic is, it is not nearly as handsome as her human one and while some are able to have cognitive awareness when in their were-forms, Natalia has yet to best that skill...Her interest in the academy does not stop there, what with the irregularity of her transformation...the lack of control makes her skin crawl! She has no family living, only friendships made along the way but these have only aided in her travels, not her control...Knowing the school specializes in helping monsters, ghouls, reapers, ghosts and all those in need to hone their FEAR gives Natalia hope for herself.
Fear: TBD Lemurs are equipped with these really awesome scent glands located near their armpits and forearms. Natalia can secrete a smelly mucus thick enough to cover her entire body in layers upon layers of the good-stuff...Although the area around her glands seem to produce at least double the amount and smells horrible when one is up close! This gook acts as a barrier between attacks and her skin, making the monster immune for a short period of time.
Of course, this is not permanent! That would be really nasty. No, instead, after some time it is soaked in through her pores, capable of being reused. Once a majority of the mucus is gone, the FEAR loses its strength and works ineffectively throughout the rest of the fight.
And as a bonus, the odor emitted can be used as a repellant.
First Year: Natalia has very little control over the secretion at this stage of the game, so as the layers stack up her speed greatly decreases and tires her out. (this could result in her having to skip attack rolls)
Second Year: During her second year she will discover that her saliva can quickly dissolve the mucus to a tolerable level. Although she needs to find an opening in the attack to clean up, this new find grants her the speed back that she lacked the first year in order to finish off an opponent.
Third Year: She has gained as much control over her FEAR as is possible, able to produce as much or as little of the mucus as she wants. It can also last much longer now, but it will always (even if snail-slow) seep back into her pores at some point. In addition, Natalia can use her tail to rub mucus on a fellow teammate, in the case of a 'raid' type fight. (Note: The mucus runs off the skin of others after one or two attacks, so the benefits aren't long lasting but can shield them from a heavy blow. Those who have fur are perhaps granted an extra turn, but the affect remains the same. )
Natural Ability: Transformation - She is able to transform into her large and rather masculine looking lemur form. This happens randomly and can be quite the nuisance since she has no real control over what the were-lemur does (or does not do). A sneeze, a tickle, a change in the weather and POOF, fuzzybutt is clamoring about causing a scene.
Physical Description: In very great shape, tall with longer legs then a torso, (but it does not look too awkward.) with relatively large breasts. Her facial features are well defined, cheek bones high above a slightly rounded-off chin. Her lips, if the artist chooses to show them, are normal and not too full, top or bottom. The nose should be turned up just a hair, and her forehead a normal length, although it will rarely be seen as it is underneath all that hair.
Eye Colour: Orange, with yellow or a lighter shade of orange going around the pupil. Her sclera is black.
Hair Colour/Style: Midnight blue hair that is always pushed to one side or the other, does not matter which. If pushed back, a very rare occurrence, its length just hits the center of her back.
Skin Colour: Paste white
Clothing Style/Colours: Think male attire, Victorian era, with a slight feminine twist.
Extra: Where regular ears would sit on the head Natalia has fluffy white lemur ears, with the ear hair being a mix of grey and white. (maybe a dash of black) And, she has a long lemur tail that switches off the colors white and midnight blue, (same color as her hair) the root and the tip must be blue.

The Monster...Is grudgingly taking questions.
FAQ
Q. Is the were-lemur's personality the same as Natalia's?
A. Yes and no? The beast, like Natalia, is unfamiliar with boundaries and will barge into your face breathing heavily, picking its nose. It has a soft, quiet, Neanderthal way about it, usually...but unlike Natalia's bout with vengeance and grudges, the beast prefers to take on matters in the moment. If someone smacks the lemur around, the lemur is going to smack someone around. ASAP. Eventually Natalia will be able to tap into the transformation and put to good use her charm and stability, but until then the were-lemur is a hot head easily pissed off.
Q. What does her past look like?
A. Briefly: Both of Natalia's parents died when she was six years old, four years before her were abilities presented themselves. She has no idea just how they passed, but has also never bothered to ask. Life became as honest and blunt as it could get once she became a part of her (single) grandmothers life, a were-monster herself of what--Natalia never found out. In fact, it really is quite remarkable that the girl has become the kind of woman she is. Curious about life and how it works...perhaps it was just with personal topics that she chose to disregard completely. Anyway, her grandmother was the kind of woman who never let a child be a child. Belief in anything but nonfiction made the scrooge-esque creature "bah" and grunt in disapproval. They lived a simple life filled with rules and regulations that demanded following...ones that Natalia grew to loath. Do not go up those stairs, do not talk to that boy, school is for the smart not you...so, when Natalia began to struggle with her transformations, she knew she could not approach her grandmother and thus abandoned the childhood home she grew up in. By this time she was almost at the age she is now, suffering on her lonesome until she came upon a mountainous marketplace and a young girl who stole her heart and, ultimately, led her to the Academy.

Q. The oooonly thing I might be 'worried' about, if you want to call it that, is that in areas like Academics, etc ... she might seem a little 'overpowered'? It does make sense for her if she's been a lot of places before coming to the school. But I get the impression the first-years are supposed to be awkward teenager-y type people at least in some ways?
A. You have a point there! And I thought I went as far as to make her awkward academically, but apparently not as much as I thought! I definitely do not want her to be OP by no means, so I think I have toned it down a bit.

RP example: [The Nightmare Before Christmas auditions--Natalia's 'try-out']
Natalia had a lovely voice, versed by the great and melodic musicians of some…wayward, northern region. Her accent, although strong in her casual speech, seemed to fade from recognition as her lips parted and she began to thrum, la-ing and fa-ing, trying to match pitches where pitches needed matching. She had only recently heard of Jack Skellington and his misfortune with Christmas, an obvious outsider to Halloween Town, but became well acquainted with the characters and plot hastily…all because of the whispers, of course! A play, they gabbed, the academy is to put on a play! Love, adventure, suspense! Oh, what fun Natalia thought…Romance! She would perhaps get the chance to kiss a blushing Sally, or a jubilant Jack…or both, once the curtains fell. Yes both would do just fine!
She arrived at the auditorium as promptly as her schedule would allow, waiting comfortably near the front of the building. There were not a lot of spectators and a sad amount of try-outs being preformed…In fact, everything about the performances was sad! The acting, atrocious, the singing, deafening! It was high time the judges saw what a true thespian looked like!
Her turn could not come soon enough, the other students escaping the bright lights of the stage like prey fleeing the predator…Natalia chuckled at the thought of cowering in the lime light, barely catching a glimpse of the last participant who scurried off but idly wondering what the face of such a raven-haired girl looked like.
No matter, her hour of reckoning was here!
“Good afternoon.” The words lulled loudly, demanding that the whole room pay close attention. She bowed, one hand clenched in a fist behind her back while the other cupped her torso tenderly. Her orange stare was astonishingly bright once the light hit them, and seemed to float about in the black backdrop of the rest of her eye. “My name is Natalia, and I am trying out for the role of Jack Skellington, the King of all things Pumpkin, the lover of a patchwork wonder woman, the owner of a faithful-- ”
“eh-em” The sound of a throat clearing came and went from the audience. Natalia grit her teeth in a smile, one arm still set behind her back while the other now tapped against her chest.
Silence reigned for several seconds. It became quite awkward…
“WHATS THIS?” Suddenly the girls face was alight with a mix of curiosity and amazement.
"What's this? There's color everywhere! What's this? There's white things in the air” As she sung, her body moved about the stage enthusiastically, hands splaying in front of her face before being pulled away slowly…extending her palms out in front of her and then drawing them in as if to inspect what was just caught.
“What's this? I can't believe my eyes, I must be dreaming wake up, Jack, this isn't fair!
What's this?"
By now she had cascaded down the stage stairs, fallen to her knees in what looked like anguish, and hopped back up onto the stage to finish off with a second bow.
“Thank you, thank you. I would like to once again express my excitement for the play. OH how glorious it will be! The lights on ones face, eyes waiting eagerly for the next move to be made! I’m certain this year the play will surpass all expectations and—“
As suddenly as her time had been granted, so it was taken away. Rushed off the stage and shut out of the auditorium, Natalia folded her arms across her chest and grinned.
“Well, that went well I think.”

Oh yea, that's much better! Having her be naturally smart and hard-working seems more ... idk. Realistic to me. XD Because even though the stereotype for a 'teenager' is a slacker etc etc there are always the bright kids in the bunch lol

Arel stared at the Enrollment form. What in Jack's name was a "Rumel erew"? He blinked, took another sip of Hard Pumpkin Whiskey, courtesy of his new pirate lepus accomplices, and shook the form, as if expecting something to fall out.
He made a motion to place the paper on his desk: unfortunately both his arm and entirely body missed. The gnomes would find his unconscious body the next morning, and quietly and surreptitiously slip the piece of paper clenched in his one hand into the acceptance folder.
