History:K'ryn was a weyrbrat, born and raised. His parents were riders who had a bit too much wine during a Gather and ended up spending the next few nights together. Once he was born, he was gladly handed over to a foster mother since his birth mother had absolutely no inclination towards motherhood. In fact, other than his foster mother giving him those bare facts about his parents, he could barely even tell you their names.

He led a happy childhood, running wild with the pack of brats that any weyr seems to have at any given time. When the option came to stand as a candidate, he happily said yes, taking his place on the sands with the rest of the candidates. It took a few tries before he actually impressed, finding his lifemate in the Brown Jeth.

Appearance: K'ryn is definitely not one to stand out in a crowd. He stands at 5'9", the perfect size to make sure he stands taller than a few people, but not enough to be noted for a truly outstanding stature. In build he is thin, though through the recent Turns has thickened as weyrlinghood and then dragonriding has surrounded his body in a tight sheath of muscle.

He is rather cute, in a boyish way - his face is round, nose small but straight between dark brown eyes. His hair is a mid-shade of brown and is kept short, but slightly wavy, and always messy, never seeming to be able to behave. Deeply tanned, his skin is only a few shades lighter than his hair.

Personality: K'ryn isn't exactly the most outgoing person at the Weyr.

Sure, he can be personable, when he needs to be, and he gets along with people rather well, when he has to, but for the most part he prefers to keep to himself. It's not that he doesn't like people, it's just, well, it seems to be just too much of a hassle to learn how to get comfortable around new people all the time. Especially with just how many people that tends to be. He has a few close friends and he feels like that's all he needs.K

He has a weakness towards gambling, and can often be found making wagers on just about everything that he can. "That clutch'll hatch 4 blues," or "Bet your lizard'll have 7 eggs, and one of em'll be bronze." He doesn't care about winning, just about the game, and he loses more often than not.

He has a short temper, and a tendency towards the violent when he's upset. Sometimes, he handles it pretty well; he's getting better at walking away from confrontation instead of going straight to blows but he is by no stretch of the imagination level-headed. He's actually very emotional, especially when it comes to the few that he cares about, and it can lead to him being rather irrational when it comes to what he believes is good for their safety and well-being

Dragon Personality: Jeth is a relatively thick dragon, mentally as well as physically. He’s quite gullible, and has the tendency to misunderstand many jokes that might come his way. However, he is a genuine sweetheart, and enjoys the company of others. He likes to be told stories, either of actual experiences of those created by harpers. Forever interested in new things, he will be happy to learn like any young child will be, though this will not fade as he grows older. He is moderately forgetful, and will never hold a grudge against anyone, and will sometimes start conversations the same way that he has before, to the annoyance of some listeners.

Beyond this, Jeth loves to work. He loves to be entrusted with tasks, little or big, and will rise to the challenge of each and every one. He’ll be entirely pleased with himself whenever a task is completed, and will sometimes boast to others or try to tell them how the entire job was performed, paying attention to all the details that he can remember and asking his bonded for help with those details that he forgets. He loves to ask questions, and loves even more to be asked questions, though he doesn’t always know the answer. Jeth holds the highest of respects for females of any color, and will likely chase them all when he is old enough. He treats each one like a true lady, and will dislike any who think otherwise.
