Jasiri padded back and fourth nervously outside the den, her ears pressed back against her skull, and a sweaty clump of hair covering her left eye. Where was Suku? It was soon time, she knew it. She didnt want to do this alone, it would be dreadful! She was nervous enough. She had only watched one litter of cubs being born, and however beatiful they turned out to be, the process was extremely painfull looking. Still, she wanted these cubs out, they were already a bit late. "Sukutu! Sukutu!" She wined lowdly. Meanwhile, she settled down into the den, smoothing out the sand so she could get as comfortable as possible.

The lion had been very excited when he'd learnt he was going to be a dad, but right now he wanted to find Jasiri as soon as possible.
His ear's however flicked at the wining of his name and he almost instantly broke into a long sprint, he should've been looking after Koho and her cub's, but she wouldn't mind, would she?
After all these where her grandcub's.
Within a few minute's of sprinting he skidded infront of the opening of the den and gently moved his front half in, nuzzling his mate's head softly before looking over her body.
"Is it time?" He asked, although he half knew what she was going to say.

[[OMG I know! Jasi: -looks at her cubs- What happend?! Was I exposed to radioactive waste or something? @____@]]
"Yes." Jasiri heaved as she nuzzled her mate. "Your just in time." She waiting nervously for the first contraction, and it came in seconds of Suku's arival. Her instincts soon came over her as she began to breath heavily, and push with all strength to get the first cub out. Something was wrong, it wasnt coming as smoothingly as she hoped. She groaned in pain, and pushed even harder, finnaly, with one last push the cub came out.
She quickly licked of the birth materials, eating them up greedily, then turned to her firstborn cub, cleaning him off, then leaning back to admire him. He had the darker color and paw markings of his father, and the glorious dark violet eyes of his mother."Oh Sukutu, he's beautiful. What should we name him?"

The cub shuddered at the cold, but made no sound, his soft pink mouth opened time to time as his beautiful purple eye's squinted slightly against the dark.
Maybe all late cub's where the one's with their eye's open?
Either way he got a little bit of a shock to see two huge brown...blobs, sight wasn't that good after just being born probably.
But still, even if this one made no sound, his father certainly did.
Sukutu nearly jumped at seeing their first born, a little male and he had Jasiri's beautiful eye's.
"He's beautiful..." He said softly before nuzzling against his mate, a deep loving purr resonating from his huge form.
The new father then softly lapped at his new son, surprised to hear nothing from him before chuckling a little.
At his mate's question, he instantly knew what he wanted to call him.
"I think....Kimba, would be a good name for him...because he's as quiet as a corpse..."
He chuckled a little before moving to lay against his mate's back, resting his chin on her side so he could comfort her while the he watched.

Jasiri opened her mouth to reply, but as soon as she did another contraction Jasiri growled in pain, her ears pined back and her eyes shut. This time the baby came smoothly, and she repeated her procedure.
The newborn cub squealed loudly as it hit the air. It was cold and dry and he wanted to go back to the warm place. He wiggled his arms and legs dissaprovingly, pawing at air. He didnt protest as much when he was cleaned off, being against his mothers warm fur, but he still wasnt happy, becaue he was soon placed next to his brother. But yumm what was that new smell? He sqirmed his was over to the n****e and began to suck greedily. Maybe this could work out afterall.
"This one atleast has a big mouth." She said as she washed off the cub and placed him next to his brother. "Such beautiful markings. I think we shall call him...Zenoni." She said with a smile.

Suku' smiled more, looking over his mate's back as his second son was born, this was one of the happiest moment's in the young adult's life as he watched his family grow.
He chuckled at the name and licked the top of this one's head, like he had with his older brother.
"It suits him..." He said softly.
As the first one began to drank, he suddenly felt another body.
What on earth? It was small and fuzzy like he was! Only this one made a lot more sound.
For once the tiny first born let out a strangled squeak and moved a tiny paw to try and poke his younger brother.

Jasiri nodded and settled down in the soft dirt to wait for another contraction. She looked at her two sons loveingly. They were the most beautiful creatures she had ever seen. The third came a couple of minutes after the second, and Jasiri licked off the birth materiel and savored the small boost of energy it gave her. She quickly cleaned off the cub. There first born girl.
"A little girl, Suku." She said, licking the cub behind the ears. "How about..." She thought a moment for a name. "Chakeleti. Just like my mother.." She placed her girl next to her brothers.
Zenoni squealed unhappily as another furry body squished in next to him. What was this invasion? He thought he'd have the whole place to himself. He grunted trying to push the two farther away from him.

Chakeleti squeaked approval of her name, though she didn't realize it as she was squeaking at just about everything at that moment. The cold air, the warm tongue, the soft bodies she was set next to, it all deserved to be squeaked at. As another piercing sound made its way from her throat, she climbed greedily over her second brother, pushing in between the two boys to reach the warm spot. She instinctively searched out an upper teat, using her first brother's head as a good stepping stool. Her wet little ears flapped around, attempting to dry and detect sounds in her otherwise deaf world.

Sukutu smiled, a girl! A little girl! His little darling girl!!!
He almost leapt at seeing the first female and moved to gently lick her across her soft head, purring deeply before he looked to Jasiri and smiled warmly.
"It's a perfect name..." He said lovingly to his mate.
He was being stepped on!
Another strangled mew escaped him as he looked up blindly at his sister, still drinking and very annoyed to be disturbed in such a manner!
He'd give her a prodding later on she wouldn't soon forget!

Chakeleti made her first happy mew at the affection from her father, already liking these big, smelly creatures. She slurped up some more warm milk from her mother's life giving body and started a little kitten purr to state her approval. Of course the cub had yet to understand the language of her parents, but the warm tones of her father's vibrations made it clear something was good, and of course it had to be about her since he had just licked her and all, and besides, what else would they be talking about?
And then that useful little stepping stool had to start with his negative sounds.... Chak was happy, why couldn't the rest of the world be happy too? Honestly, some lions were just so hard to please.... Her butt was being warmed by her other brother, which was quite useful, but for some reason the one that she needed to reach her share of the milk was complaining about something. Oh well, he wasn't moving too much, with a little adjustment the first daughter was able to reattach greedily to the teat of her mother.

Jasiri nodded happily and licked her mate on the cheek. He was going to be the best father. "Dont spoil her rotten just yet." She said, and with that another contraction came. Another beautiful girl.
"Another girl. Lookit the color of her eyes, there gorgeos. What should we name this one?" She said, cleaning the girl off and sticking her inbetween her sister and her brother. Jasiri was getting quite tired. She was so tempted to lay her head down and rest, but she knew this wasnt the last. How many cubs was she going to have already?
What was this!? He was getting steped on and layed on and he was not happy at all about it. He gave a loud shreak and pushed his sister off of him. All he wanted to do was enjoy the warm tasty stuff but noooo, another body was floped next to him. He let out a tiny hiss.

Suku' chuckled at his mate's words, he could spoil his kid's when they where older, but still, they'd be spoilt rotten whenever he could spare.
The big loving lump he was.
As another contraction and another cub came, the large lion smiled warmly at his newest cub, tail twitching in a happy manner as he looked at his new, dark brown daughter.
"Hmmm...this one's name will be...Rehema.."
Finally, the eldest one gave in and let his younger sister drink, however when a new body came into the fray, he gave a loud deffiant squeak.
How many more little bodies where there going to be??

The newest arrival gave a shrill squeek as she was set beside the other lumps of fur, all of them moving towards the food source. She wanted some food, and she wanted to get it first. The little cub made no hesitation in getting to what she wanted, pulling herself weakly towards her mohter's swollen belly, pushing and shoving her way through. She wanted milk, where was she? Everything was so cold and bright, even through her closed eyes she could 'see' the light. Two tiny paws reached for her mother's belly through the small mob of cubs.

Chakeleti ignored the hissing and screeching of her brothers, curling up against their warm bodies as her belly began to swell from all the milk she had just gurgled down. But even as she lay there her stomach was quickly putting the nutrition to good use, and soon she started drinking happily again. The warmth of her younger sister next to her just delighted the little girl even more, another body for her service! Her cold little paw snuggled underneath her sister's belly as she drank her first meal. All of the brown lions together must have been quite a sight, Chak blending into her mother's overfur color so well she could practically be camoflaged. She did her own part however in making sure she was noticed, whining a little when her father's presence left her for a few moments....
((sorry i'm posting so much, i'm just really excited to be rping with yous guys again! xD))
