He paid for the pack of cigs and tucked them away into the pocket of his coat, he had a pack, it was only half gone but before the day was over it would be spent, so he was 'just being prepared.' - he was bored, lacking stimulus and wished he could 'suit up' and find something to fight for a good 'kick' or 'rush'...too early for clubbing, too many cops to race... there had to be something to do. He tapped out a cigarette and lit another without even pausing. The gesture was as natural as breathing, there was even a small callous on his thumb from flicking his lighter. He found a bench and sprawled on it watching the cars sweep by on the streets, casually flicking ash at some of the glittering tinsel that now wrapped the light polls in 'holiday spirit' red, green and silver with faux balsam wreaths adorned with red ribbons appearing on more and more doors. Maybe he could go sledding, or skiing... a few good ski jumps would improve the hell out of his mood, maybe even a good wipe out. You really couldn't do that deliberately though, it just wasn't the same.
There had to be SOMETHING to do... smoke wreathed his head as he sighed heavily and flipped his red-dyed bangs and scowled the crowds for something to do...or someone worth at least a flirt.

When you were a Spring, Winter was somewhat rough. Everything Allie owned had been bought in the warmer months of Destiny City, and what she did have for winter was a few sizes too large...in the chest. So the tiny girl was wrapped tightly in a barely insulated spring coat the color of new buds, wandering about looking for a coat that was at least worth dipping into her funds.
Leaning against a nearby bench, Allie's boot kicked lightly at a planter. "It is too cold!"

"It's a bit nippy" He agreed leaning his head back over the back of the park bench, the cigarette bobbing at the corner of his mouth as he spoke, and then grinned at her appraisingly. "Your a breath of spring air though aren't you..." He said shifting on the bench to get a better look at her. Finally someone...er... something, worth doing.
"Y'wana borrow my coat? You look a mite frosted in the bud there..." He said resting his chin on his arm and pausing just long enough to pluck the cigarette between his first two fingers to tap ash against the side of the bench.

Normally, strangers were something to be wary of. When you were a senshi from another time though, everyone was a stranger and if you were wary of everyone, you never made friends. Looking down at the head next to her hips, Coralie considered the young man's offer for a long moment. She was going to refuse, but ask politely for directions to a better shopping district than this one, but something happened. A gust of wind blew down the street and straight through the poor fifteen year old, causing her to shudder almost painfully. "Oh. Oh it is so cold. If I could just borrow it for a minute?"
At least long enough to suck the warmth out of it or something!

He flashed her a grin and stood, swinging off the long white coat, it looked anything BUT store bought, or if it was it was heavily modified for his height and .. a half a fur collar but no more, buckles and buttons all over as well. He offered it to you, down to nothing but a sweater and jeans but didn't seem to mind, at least not yet. "There you go, one lady less in distress... Thomas, Tom..." he said by means of introduction.

Pulling the coat around her, Coralie went to hold her hand out and realized that it was buried beneath what was at least an extra six inches of pure white coat. Instead, she simply plucked at the buckles and gave what was a rather proper curtsy, giggling into the cold. "Coralie, I am called Allie a lot. I am not sure why, I think my name is very odd to them." The part about no one using her full name was almost a part of every introduction she made now, mostly because everyone insisted on introducing themselves with nicknames as well. For someone who'd come from a rather formal upbringing and culture, it was very strange.
"Thank you so much, it is very warm in here." In fact, it was like a tent. "I bet I look silly."

"Heaven's no...you look like a princess!" He said and flicked his depleted smog stick into the gutter before taking her tiny hand and kissing it. "Beautiful in -every- way, I'd dance the night through with you if I thought they would let you in the door, sad to say that true beauty only sometimes beat's the bouncers. Also... I think that is a magnificent name, it suits you." He offered her an arm. "Would you care to be treated to something that will I fear not be nearly as sweet as you?" He waved a hand towards one of the snug little cafe's that spotted the street with their hot coffee and coco and various pastries. People hurried in and out with boxed goods of tasty treats, seasonal cakes and gingerbreads. Even things as potentially terrifying as fruit cake and a few puddings of questionable nature and origin. Thomas thought privately that if the negaverse wanted to produce true evil, all they needed was to find a way to create a banana or plum pudding yoma... safe to say HE would run from it out of pure disgust. No amount of excitement would keep him close to those noxious concoctions. Fortunately they were very nearly the furthest thing from his mind just at the moment. "I'd be honored to keep you company if you would."

Hilariously, Chibiusa loved pudding. It was one of the few things that she regretted terribly about being away from Japan was that they had no idea how to make a proper flan here in America! To them pudding was a strange chocolatey substance that you made from a powder, not actually caramel gelatin in that adorable wiggly shape that was so very fun to eat. Though if pressed, Allie would have admitted shamefully that Perry's fridge might have had about a dozen or so Snak Pak cups for her to snack on in the evenings.
Pudding was pudding!
In addition to the cold, Tom's flirting was bringing pink up to the girl's cheeks as she looked rather longingly at the cafe. "I am not sure I should but...it could not hurt for a short time? Maybe for one pudding." Pausing to sweep up part of the coat the teen couldn't keep the question back any longer. "Do I really look like a princess? I did not know there was a place to dance like a princess would dance." Nor did she really know how it was done. She did not really dance at the grand parties thrown by her parents. Small Lady was expected to sit and be a gracious hostess while keeping a proper ear on the important topics being discussed. They were for education, not entertainment.

"Truly, you look like a princess." He grinned and swept a bow to her. "And I think, the only place one might dance like a -formal-princess would be at the Destiny City Ballroom, but... there is always the Crescent Moon Dance Club that's open every night long after sensible people have gone to bed!" He flashed a white grin. "And just up the road, there is the 'Antique Bakery' who has SOMEHOW managed to hire a fellow who studied baking in france, and makes puddings that aren't powder!"
Rather unlike Thomas who still made powdered macaroni and cheese.

Flirting could really go to a girl's head and when one was as lonely as Coralie tended to be at times, she was particularly susceptible. Sure, Tom wasn't doing the sort of 'interested' flirting due to the fact that he was obviously so much older, but Allie wouldn't have known that. After all she was young, inexperience, and very willing to do whatever necessary for some attention and pudding. It was really all about the pudding! Or at least that was what she was telling herself.
"Sensible? I think that would mean very late for me. Perry does not like it when I am out late." A sigh from Coralie as they headed towards the bakery, a bit of fidget in her step that indicated they probably could not run fast enough to get to that place. The name was sticking in her mind though, with the distinct intent that she would look this Crescent Moon Dance Club up as soon as she was alone. Coralie was not allowed out past ten PM, but Sailor Chibimoon sure was.
Perry wouldn't know if she wasn't out fighting crime!

"Aww... well you never know, what Perry dosen't know can't hurt him if you don't get caught?" He said with a teasing grin then shook his head. "Naw...don't listen to me I'm a BAD influence... I am the guy your parents warn you about...well mostly." He chuckled thinking of his nightly excursions... that wasn't exactly rebel material. "If your not careful I'll teach you to smoke and how to mix drinks Princess!" Ahhh there it was, the sweet aroma that wafted though the icy air when the door swung open, the lingering sent of it that hung even while it chilled past recognition the further it got...surely you were close to your goal. "Umm... so you got an accent there, mind if I ask where you hail from?" He asked lifting his eyebrows and flipping his crimson stained bangs back form his face.
