Maybe she had taken that a bit too casually. It felt as if Sailor Iris' whole body had been jolted rather suddenly the moment she pressed the button on her gay little phone. It hadn't been enough that she had met the enigma that was Kurma, but then he took her into space and told her to listen to the universe singing. No, she just had to be an idiot and listen to his directions. That was a lesson to be learned. Never take advice from a stranger that has a glowing beach ball.
Eventually, the blonde managed to stagger to her feet after taking a deep breath. "Seriously... what th'hell was that all... 'bout?" Her voice seemed to hesitate as her eyes finally opened, only to find something strange about her surroundings. Yes, she was still in outer space (sorry Kurma, Iris was too adjusted to putting the one word in front of the other). However, everything was much darker. There was the faint sparkling of stars, but unlike the previous location, where it seemed to have some light, there was a drastic lack of it in this new place.
"Seriously?! What ******** is this sh*t?!!!" One of her hands had long been tangled in her hair, and now, as she attempted to jerk her hand away, she pulled at her own hair accidentally, letting out a faint hissing noise of disapproval.
Sailor Iris looked up at the sky and shouted out for all to hear "SOMEONE TURN ON A F*CKIN' FLASHLIGHT!!! SPACE FLASHLIGHT, SERIOUSLY!!!" Her eyes fell down to the ground, and for about 5 minutes, just remained there. In the mean time, she attempted to yank her hands out of her hair, but she just didn't have a gentle bone in her body. Such a delicate task was definitely something Iris couldn't do without ripping her own hair.
At least her eyes eventually managed to adjust to the lack of light. Shapes began to form out of the shadows now. It wasn't exactly what the tomboy had expected in all honesty. She had expected a surface similar to the moon, complete with big old craters. Instead, it looked like a desert. No plant life (well duh, this was outer space), all sand, and several rocks. The colors were difficult to tell, due to the lack of light. Iris crossed her arms and began to rub her hands over her upper arms.
"Dude... kinda nippy 'ere..." Shrugging her shoulders slightly, she began to finally walk around. Her feet seemed to be drag slightly through the sand. It didn't seem like normal sand somehow, but she couldn't quite place how it was different. The Eternal Senshi of Rainbows continued to wander about aimlessly for at least 30 minutes before she finally came across something worth noticing.
There was a broken wood-like structure. Space wood? It wasn't exactly like a home or anything. It was hard to tell what it could have been. It had long been broken down from its original form, whatever it was.
"...So... this is my home?" How lame was that? With a sigh, she flipped open her rainbow phone. "Nothin' 'ere t'see kids..." She wished she could blame this on being a dream.
Somehow, she suspect such was not the case. Punching in a few buttons, she soon enough vanished from her newly discovered home.
It wouldn't be her last trip, regardless of her first impression.
