Youma. Zirconia was quickly learning that with all her hate for the White Moon vs. Negaverse war, youma were her least favorite byproduct. The lavender cat took a flying leap and landed in a snowdrift and just sort of wriggled further in, yellow eyes peeking out of the pile as she tried to figure out how far ahead she'd managed to run from the thing. She underestimated the animated abomination resembling one of those tacky reindeer decorations people were putting in their front yards, and after her brief scuffle and sustaining some scratches, she started to retreat.
It didn't seem to give up the chase, though, and she was starting to seriously regret going out on a prowl by herself. Though technically she wasn't actually looking for trouble, as hard to believe as that was. She was just minding her own business as a civilian when she picked up the distinct sense of a nearby youma and decided to investigate. All the same, she found herself now wondering if she dared to hang around for it to catch up and try to surprise it, keep running in the hopes of finding someone more capable.
She tried to sit still in her little snow cave and wait for it, but as it came closer she lost her resolve and jumped out, leaving snow flying everywhere in her wake as she tried to continue her retreat, already a bit beat up from her initial attempt to attack the thing.

Istas was walking home from school. It got dark way too fast though. She was about maybe a few blocks from her place when she walked past a street with a youma and a cat fighting. She didn't actually notice it, and the youma's back was to her.
She sighed as she walked. It was snowy and slushy, this wasn't fun. She needed snow boots, her school shoes weren't appropriate for this sort of weather. A soft shiver went down her spine as she walked.

Zirconia hadn't noticed Istas so much as she had noticed she was in some asinine round about chase with some frighting abomination resembling a tacky demonic lawn ornament. In fact she completely ignored anything around her before Zia kicked in and caused the large cake to slide to a stop before colliding in her legs and instead, just grazed her with all that hair currently standing on end.
"Istas?" Was the surprised word that escaped before remembering she was supposed to pretend to be a dumb animal when in this form. And then the youma that was on her tail and she turned around with all four legs braced and a very loud, hostile hiss at the charging... thing.

Istas paused when she heard her name looking down towards the cat. She seemed surprised at the fact, but then she saw the youma, "Oh.. uh..."
She grabbed her pen from her bunny shaped back pack. "HUGBELL POWER MAKEUP~" She was use to shouting. That's how ********* told her to do anyways! In a second chibi Hugbell was standing there. "I'm Here to comfort you." She pointed towards the youma.
Okay weird moment, "Who're you?" She asked curiously looking at Zirconia.

Zirconia's brow furrowed at the one liner directed to the charging youma, and there was also the confusion of little Istas from the park somehow being a senshi, but that would have to wait.
Hopefully a little senshi was enough of a senshi to keep her from being youma food.
"Introductions later," The cat snapped, trying to focus on a plan and quell Zia's complete meltdown at the prospect of Istas and a youma being in the same place, and the fact that she was a chibi senshi made it all the more bizzare.
In an attempt to move out of the line of the youma's charge, Zirconia made a diagonal dash, purposely getting clipped to break it's straight line dash and coax it into chasing her.
"Quick, Hugbell," She asked, trying not to sound too breathless as she dashed around in circles and figure 8s, trying her hardest to be a good decoy, "What's your attack?" At least if she knew the senshi's support type she could formulate some kind of strategy.

Istas watched as Zirconia snapped. She pouted, "Sorry!" She called looking at the weird lawn ornament gone rogue. She was trying to figure out how to help as well...
She paused, "My teddy bear grows to catch things mostly... then it shrinks again." She said with a seemingly unsure tone, more wondering if that was going to be any help or if she was going to end up standing there looking dumb.
She was watching poor Zirconia, feeling kind of bad that she was just standing there. However, what else would the kid do?

Zirconia rolled her eyes and muttered several things to herself before being scolded in her her own head that it was only a chibi senshi. Well, chibi senshi or big senshi, she couldn't keep running around at this speed so the cat started to frantically look around and form a plan.
Fleeing was the best option, and it seemed fairly obvious once she started thinking of Hugbell as an escape vehicle and not a tank. "Okay!" She called out, making a sharp turn in her mad dash. "Catch me when I fall, okay?!" She said, even though her voice was ringing out with noted uncertainty. She started towards a nearby building and made an almost complete vertical climb up the fire escape with the nimble finesse expected of a cat.
The youma paused midway up as if it was weighing the pros and cons of attacking the senshi or the cat, which made Zirconia stop her climb and bat a flower pot in a window down at him... it? It missed by a mile but it reminded the thing she was still there. And there was horrible moment of quit, uneventful tension that suddenly made her stomach drop. If it decided to charge Istas then.. this wasn't going to work. And it was a long shot anyway.
As it made it's first step back down, Zirconia dropped from her perch onto it's head with frantic hissing and clawing and clinging, and they both started a very quick one way descent to the pavement below.

Hugbell watched Zirconia as she muttered to herself. Curious as to what it might've been the child only watched the cat, buttery eyes were large like a doe's. However, when she was given instructions Hugbell nodded. "OKAY!" She called as she watched the two of them go up.
However, Hugbell hadn't really expected both of them to come down at the same time either. "Oh.... TEDDY COMFY CATCHES!" She shouted as she tossed the bear where she hoped dearly it'd be able to catch the Cat. If it caught the youma too... well that'd just be more for Zirconia to land on right? Right? However, Hugbell had to hope the cat didn't end up being the one on the bottom. She frowned and watched almost dancing on spot from the suspense and worry.

It was almost like slow motion with a comical sound effect as Zirconia the poofball's landing was safely softened, and she even bounced up a little, only to get a face full of teddy. Her claws managed to hook into the soft surface so she could get some balance and bearings. The first thing her wide, surprised eyes saw was a stunned youma, who had been less fortunate and hit the side of the bear and bounced into the sidewalk.
Without wasting a second, the cat decided now was the time to strike with a well placed shot of energy at the thing, and then bolted before she felt the resulting fatigue, or before it could realize she'd just shot at it, since there was no way a singular cat's energy shot could kill the whole thing, but she was hoping to at least injure it enough to slow it down so they could outrun it.
She darted and leaped to the chibi the way any frantic housecat would to someone safe.
"That is a VERY useful bear," She exclaimed. She didn't expect to say that today.

Hug-bell watched as the cat bounced off and the Youma did too and Barnaby started shrinking. She ran to grab the bear and take off, "Yes, he is, Lets get out of here!" She said. Frowning as the shot wasn't like ********* which totally dusted a Youma.
"Do you think we can out run it?" She asked as she scooped up Zirconia in her free arm. It was awkward to run with a cat, but chibi assumed she could get them far enough from the Youma they could be safe enough to think of a plan or find help.

"Um!" No idea. But she wasn't about to confess that. Zirconia couldn't waste a youma in one shot, not right now, and not while she was so out of shape. She was even havign trouble aiming right. But she had hit this one and it was at least staggering, even though it was intact.
"Absolutely!" She lied as a snort from the injured and angry creature from behind them, and then frantically urged with paw slaps between words, "Go go go, start running," Like the senshi was her own personal carriage.

Hug-bell was running with Zirconia she didn't need to be told twice to run. She wasn't big enough to fight the thing on her own and Zirconia couldn't zap it; there was a big problem.
She rounded a corner. "Ohhhh..... where should we hide?" She asked as she ran wondering where would be safe for them. Passing alleyways and dark streets hoping something would come into view that they might find useful.

"I... Uuuuh," The cat's wide eyes were scanning the area, though, she was really paying more attention on gauging how fast they were fleeing the youma. Distance was being gained. Maybe she hit it harder than she thought? But it wasn't dust, so maybe not.
She was starting to wonder why she didn't bother driving home. A car would work better than this constant attempt at outrunning monsters. Well, that, and she was unsure about revealing her dirty little secret about being Zia and a cat to a kid.
Still, she'd used up her one shot at usefulness in this form and so she started thinking of some convoluted plan to switch to two legs. "Oh, this alleyway, here!" She said, pointing and jumping out of Hugbell's arms to dart down to the short wall cutting it in half. A few nimble jumps up the stacked recycling crates and she vanished over the edge, out of sight and safe to go 'two legs'. With arms and thumbs and all that good stuff. And a pause. She needed one, just to lean against the wall and rub the bridge of her nose. Energy shots were so unfun and draining.

Hug-bell nodded and followed into the alleyway, pausing at ground level. Frowning, there was no way she could follow Zirconia up those recycling crates. She hoped the Youma maybe got hit by a car or something, a dumb wish but she didn't want it following her when she was left alone.
She shifted uneasily as she looked around. "Kitty?" She called still not having gotten the cats name. She wrinkled her nose, it was much easier to call them by their name at least they'd answer and not a bunch of strays come running.

"Kitty left," Zia said, trying to shake off the after effects and look over the short wall, and then getting a boost on a cinder block on her side, reached over to help Hub-Bell up. "Are you okay?"
She'd have to pay service to playing dumb later. Sensing a youma took way too much concentration now and it was hard to juggle so many things, especially when drained, a large part of her mental faculties were also wishing the youma would get hit by a car. But in pain and running in circles was doing the trick, apparently, because it wasn't getting any closer.
