Adjusting his tie, Nero walked into the grand hall where the Winter Ball was to be held. "Looks like no one's here yet," he said glancing around. His tuxedo was a plain black one reminiscent of that worn by famous agent 007. He was hoping to see Helga there but he didn't want to get his hopes up.

Howard was slunk on the wall, near the stage, partially hidden by the stage curtains. he was in a foul mood why must i chaperone these kids??? and why must it be at a ball?!?! i hate dances he thought. he saw the first of the kids arrive great.... so it begins... he looked at the room he was in. who ever had decorated went all out, imitation snow was falling, not cold to the touch but also not there. pretty nifty illusion i suppose, i might have done better... he then remeniced of a time when he could have done such things, oh well, fate has other plans for people. he started to absentmindedly play with his small golden cross that was on a chain around his neck. besides the cross was his flask. one was a sign of devotion, the other of sin. how ironic fate is.....

[I love how it took me days to narrow down the outfits I chose for fictional characters orz]
Demetri walked into the large room, every nook decorated adequately... Why he was refused from the committee was unknown to him, it would be more extravagant if the reins were his....But oh well, can't control all of them. Summer would be his season. The witch placed his best smile on and walked to a wall, uncomfortable in such a small party. Where was the music...and the kids?
"Demetri! Nice to see you came, though you missing a ball would be off...." Lachesis called, taking graceful strides to meet the man. Her dress matched each step, flowing and showcasing its beauty each move. She smiled to him, complimenting his clothes (he always dressed well, but balls always drove him to a new level).
"Rather empty so far, isn't it?" she muttered, receiving a small nod and chuckle. Right on the mark.

Wei Bu was violently shoved into the ballroom. A deep blush painted his cheeks. This outfit was ridiculous on him. He looked like a mobster. He shot a glare at Vinicius. His suit was a bright teal blue with a dress shirt underneath with no tie and slightly unbuttoned. Every time he tried to button it up and put a tie in it Ankou or Vinicius would promptly smack him upside the head. Jerks. And they wouldn't let him take off the stupid fedora either. "I look ridiculous..." He muttered miserably. Vinisius let out a laugh, "In my country this is what people wear to parties all the time!" He said roughly slapping the boy on the back. He had on something similar to Wei Bu's outfit only his was orange...it bordered on obnoxious but it still looked good on him. Ankou shrugged his shoulders, "Normally i wouldn't wear stuff like this but i don't mind it so much. It's a little less stuffy than that THING father had sent me to wear." His was a purple version of Wei Bu and Vinicius's suit. Emry's was thoroughly not amused with the situation. He hated dances. He liked dancing...he just didn't like to do it where everyone who isn't in his class could see him fail cause he was so short. He was wearing a matching suit in the color of white. He couldn't really wear a bright color because his hair was red...or that's what Vini said. He fiddled with the fedora. Keres slunk into the ball after her brother but kept her distance. So he was acting normal even after what she had done to him? He should be hiding in a god forsaken hole. She smoothed out her dress and put on a sweet smile. All in due time. All in due time. Aleksandre sauntered in. Hmm only a few peop-- Hey there was Howard. He put his hands in the pockets of his Zoot suit and walked over, "Hello! Nice to see you again!"

"huh?, oh, hi alek, how are you?" he muttered he was still in a bad mood, but he figured he would have to fake it. he eyed his get up. it looked... well he really didnt know how to put it. he looked at his clothes, the same style. "so, you here to help me, or just have a good time? damn the headmistress, thinking that only one teacher can supervise a bunch of hooligans" he took a quick draft from his flask, and offered alek some

"Hm no thank you. I prefer only to drink when it's very cold and if it's vodka." He said shaking his head. "I personally think the students will be on their best behavior. I would be if i knew the headmistress could pop out any second." He giggled and patted Howard on the arm, "And yes. I'm only here to have fun."

"bah, children only cause trouble." he leaned on the wall, eying the door, watching more people go in. he caught his niece enter, and thought theres a perfect example. he turned to alek "well, i hope you have a great time" he walked up on stage, and spoke using the mic "welcome children, i am here to wish you a smashing time, and to remind you, you are either here in this room, or in your room. well, let the celebration commence!" he clapped his hands, and the band behind him began playing
Alice saw her uncle up on stage, but sat at a deserted table she debated whether to go up him and say hi. she decided later, as she took a sip from the drink a waiter had brought her
[i just watched the PPG episode with the freaky clown mime, i forgot how good old cartoons are]

Aleskandre rolled his eyes. That so wasn't even remotely true. Governments caused trouble. Children only make small mistakes. He sighed and sat down at a table and crossed his legs. Now he was bored. He was tempted to go up to Demetri...but he looked busy...and he didn't want to bother them...

Lyja walked it, looking a bit more formal than usual when he went to these parties. His hair was neat, he wore different glasses but he still had his beauties in his pocket. Why was he dressed differently this time? Take a guess. He didn't like dressing like this. He felt a like a librarian instead of a chaos demi-god! Hopefully, Ankou-kid and Wei won't laugh to much. The Music Teacher bounced in wearing her winter clothes she just adored. She had her violin with her, as always, and waved to the fellow teachers. Ah, winter, such a beautiful season, although the dwarf much preferred Autmn. When mother nature paints the world with oranges and brown and reds. But Winter was a beautiful sight. Making the world sparkly and white and creating snowflakes, not two the same.
