Okay. First of all, I really REALLY hope I don't offend anyone because that's the last thing I want to do. Please listen to this with open ears and minds. Let me say this:
I've been with Dragon Castle from the very beginning from the day Zafira first created the roleplay. When I first joined the roleplay, I instantly fell in love with it. I would wake up super early and skip homework just to post, but over the years, I alongside other members have sort of lost that enthusiasm. It’s sort of obvious that I barely post anymore, but I still refuse to leave the roleplay I cherish most in Gaia. Dragon Castle is like a family to me. Also, I'd like to say that I hate to see it die. I don't want to be brutally honest but this need to be said; Dragon Castle is slowly falling.
This roleplay has been going for 3 or 4 years now and it's had a good run too! But, it might be time to start fresh. Believe me; I'm having a really hard time writing this because I know how close everyone is to the roleplay. I afraid it’s past the point of no return and new ideas won’t save it. I don’t want to see it die, I really don’t. But, what should we do? Should we restart the whole roleplay? ......Well, uh, tell me what everyone thinks! Is it just me? sweatdrop

Kandy, I agree that DC is dying, but shortly after you left towns with us, DZ and I had a discussion about how/why this is happening. The main reason was....people. We just diddn't have active members anymore supporting the roleplay. Honestly, whats the point of an epic setting, characters, plot, etc. if no one is actively involved in it.
After the absence of some of our core RPers, some of our other RPers followed in their footsteps. Another reason is this, some of the major roles have been taken already and people don't feel involved in the RP if they don't have a vital role to play in. DZ's idea to fill the rolls was that we make a, shall we say, sequel to DC. I know Avacnela and DZ talked about this idea, so I will let them explain it.

As Avacnela and I have previously discussed, a new "Generation" of Draconic Warriors are selected by the Dragon Gods every several centuries, while the souls of the previous Draconic Warriors are often reincarnated into new beings, if, due to their nature as supernatural beings, they are not simply still alive.

Well here are some examples DZ pointed out to me on how a sequel DC would work and appeal to more people (NOTE: The sequel would take place a few centuries in the future):
1. Have more active and vital roles for new RPers so they can feel like they are apart of something.
2. In terms of keeping characters, most of them can live for a long time am I right? Take Darrel for example, he is like 800 years old. I'm sure Draconic Warriors can live as long as well.
3. For new characters, we can just have them be reincarnated Dragon Warriors. As for my new character, I just had him be a descendant of Michael.
Plus this:

You've lost me now. I was never in any of those discussions. Not entirely fond of a whole new generation thing, but I do like the idea of having more roles, though I thought we had plenty of open roles.
